Vacation rentals with a kayak in Mississippi Mills

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, beautiful home, had everything we needed. Chris was very helpful.

We had a great time, nice dock for the boat, beautiful views of the lake and sunsets, nice calm bay. Daniel was a great host, clear easy instructions , cabin was comfy and clean, perfect base camp for a fishing trip or just a relaxing getaway!

Nous étions 14 personnes et il y avait suffisamment de place pour tout le monde entre-autre assis à la table, au salon et toutes les places à coucher étaient très confortables! Il y avait une très grande variété de chose à faire sur place. Marc est un très bon hôte et il répond rapidement en cas de besoin! Je recommande!!!

Great view of the river, passing ships, and fantastic sunsets… which is what we were looking for in our few days up on the River. place was nice and cozy. wish we had more time to relax and enjoy. I’d return here again!

We gathered three families together and the space was perfect. It was colder than we had hoped for but the hot tub was amazing. The house is cross listed through Airbnb and their own private site making communication a bit cumbersome but otherwise generally responsive and pleasant. Tons of water toys and just a great spot!

How was clean, neat, and comfortable. I imagine if the weather was better we would have enjoyed the outdoor amenities. It was also very convenient to downtown.

We had an amazing time at Pete’s. The location was perfect, we had our own private beach. The kids enjoyed the provided kayaks and water toys. Our dogs lived in the water for 7 days. The house is much bigger than it appears in photos, and has ample room for a large family or group.

Lots of space inside, huge lawn area, great deck and a sunroom. Check out was 11:00 AM on our last day. We were deer hunting and one of my friends shot at a deer. It turned out that he missed, but we spent a lot of time searching the area for signs of a hit. We were not able to clean out the rental until 1:00 PM. Joe was very gracious and understood our situation. We offered to pay an additional fee if necessary. Joe advised that would not be needed. Joe had also allowed us to check in a few hours early on the first day as the house was already prepared for us. Great rental home and a great host !!!!

Our stay was beyond all expectations! If we could give it ten stars, we would! Chris was so friendly and helpful and made us all feel so welcome. The grounds were gorgeous and the cabin was a true escape, complete with fireplace, comfortable sofa and beds and every convenience you could possibly need. We enjoyed evening cocktails on the dock while two geese swam nearby with their goslings and then two beavers swam right under the dock! Morning paddle-boarding, birdwatching and enjoying Sharbot Lake’s many attractions made the weekend one of the best I’ve had. I can’t recommend Lehlewa enough if you’re looking for a perfect Lakeside retreat!

Our group of 5 had a wonderful stay at Dan’s cottage - truly a gem in a beautiful location and very close to Ottawa! Really well-equipped, clean, having access to a beautiful lake, fireplace, kayaks and SUPs makes it a very relaxing and enjoyable stay👌🏼👌🏼. We will be coming back for sure!

Susie was a great host and very accommodating. She would reach out to make sure you had everything you need to ensure a great stay. Overall I would recommend this cottage if you want a nice place to relax and get away.

One of the best AirBnBs we have been to. Super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed and a beautiful view of the river. Enhanced by the flocks of geese that landed on the water. We had restful nights! Great memories in the making!

This place was amazing! Honestly could not recommend more! Great lake views from really big windows. The house is super clean, spacious and peaceful! Very easy to find and the host was really responsive. We had the most relaxing time cooking, hiking and kayaking!

The property was beautiful and offered great gathering places for our family and wonderful cottages to spend some quiet time. The lake is pretty quiet and offered nice boating/kayaking and shallows that were perfect swimming for our kids. The cottages were outfitted with everything you need and were thoughtfully organized and designed. Mark and Angie were awesome, friendly, and helpful. We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay. We hope to return next summer!

Stayed in early spring. Lots of books, games, movies to entertain. Internet was fast and reliable. Wood stove kept the cottage cozy. To cold to swim etc. Parents with small children be aware the path to the lake is steep with no railing. Overall loved the stay. Planning another in the fall.

A charming and cozy cottage— a bit smaller than I expected but perfect for a relaxing getaway for group of 4. Would definitely come back!

A couple of things that stood out for us was the abundance of towel racks and hooks in the bathroom as well as dimmers on all of the overhead lights (such a relief from glare!). We would stay here again.

This cabin was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway! The area was beautiful, the hosts were nice and the cabin was clean and peaceful. If you want to camp but don’t like to sleep outdoors, definitely check this place out!

The cabin and site were beautiful. Everything was as described. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. We had an amazing time and would love to come back.

Second time staying here and I loved it just as much as the first time…the lake and location is incredibly peaceful…had a wonderful stay….i adore the cabin ❤️

Nous sommes très satisfait de notre séjour. C’est un endroit calme et paisible. Beaucoup d’activités nautiques. Très belle chambres et literie impeccable. Le chalet possède tout l’équipement nécessaire à votre séjour. Le lac est magnifique et le chalet est directement au bord de l’eau. Nous recommandons ce chalet sans aucune hésitation. Mark est sans contredit un super hôte.
