We had a great time with the family in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil. The house is very clean, comfortable and perfectly equipped, with everything you need to feel at home. The garden is beautiful and the setting is absolutely enchanting. The area is full of treasures to discover. A big thank you to Carole for hosting us and for her availability. We would definitely recommend this property!

Very nice quiet house with a beautiful private garden space close to the cellars and the Bourgueil vineyard Very well-equipped accommodation, comfortable bedding, dogs accepted so it's a plus for us. Too bad we can't get the car inside the park. Sophie is very responsive and attentive. For a visit to discover the castles and the vineyards, the site is really ideal. We recommend it to lovers of peace and quiet and the countryside.

Marie's accommodation is a small cocoon nestled in a haven of greenery and calm, surrounded by the birdsong that we enjoy listening to when we have lunch on the terrace. The place is peaceful, the accommodation very well arranged with the essentials for a pleasant time, cooking and resting. Marie is a very friendly and sweet host, she offers her help with pleasure and the opportunity to buy eggs and honey produced in her garden, or to benefit from wellness treatments are a little extra that will promote rest and disconnection.

Clean house with anything you need. Very quiet neighbourhood and easy to find. We were very pleased to even find a personal greeting on a small blackboard at the entrance

Accommodation located in the countryside with a wooded area of beautiful environmental quality (large trees, flowering bushes). In addition to the house we had at our disposal a shelter for our bikes. Bedding, bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining room everything was perfect, we did not use the outdoor furniture that was at our disposal. We cycled on the circuits which are numerous even if they are not always easy to find. We visited the surrounding villages which have a remarkable heritage. By bike or car it is a beautiful area and a well-placed house very close to the Loire. I recommend this beautiful home.

Very good communication with Marie, who is very responsive. The house is ideally located, quiet, in town. Very well-equipped and the garden is nice. We did day bike rides, easy departure from the house and many opportunities to visit a historically rich area. We were able to park our 6 bikes without any problems in the enclosed yard. Recommended!!

Our stay at the little house was wonderful. The accommodation is a peaceful haven in the heart of a cottage where everyone has their privacy. Between visiting castles and sunbathing by the pool, time passes peacefully. Our hosts were of rare kindness. A smile, a little wave of the hand, they are present without ever imposing themselves. First of all, the estate is surrounded by nature, near Saumur. Many visits within a limited perimeter. For children, the pool is very nice for a return visit. The apartment suited us perfectly for the 3 of us.

It’s hard to sum up Anthonin’s beautiful home in just 1000 characters. It’s like nowhere you will have ever stayed before. Every room is so full of character and charm. In every corner of every room is a memory or memento from a 1000 wonderful nights spent here with friends. The house itself has been beautifully and sympathetically restored. It is not a modern property and anyone expecting minimalist chic will be disappointed 😂 it is such a unique property and my family and I loved every minute of our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. It is very private set in beautiful countryside. Restaurants and amenities are a drive away. But there are abundant places for walks and runs from the front door. The pool area is gorgeous and great for all ages. Loads of seating and social areas inside and out. This place is an utter joy and I promise if you’ve stumbled across it you won’t be disappointed. Anthonin too is a complete gent and was always available. Big thumbs up.

Annie and Thierry are very good hosts. They responded very quickly to our questions and queries. Lots to explore within a thirty minute drive. Saumur is exceptionally beautiful, Angers is very busy! Great onsite parking and very secure area for young children and a little active dog! Great outdoor seating area and BBQ, as equally comfortable inside. Quality furnishing. Two double bedrooms with en-suite shower room. Beds very comfortable. Children’s games, thoroughly enjoyed by our grandchildren. Lots of information on places to see, things to do. We have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone wanting a peaceful place to rest after a busy day exploring.

Great family stay in the countryside in this beautiful house around Saumur. The setting is very nice, with a very nice heated pool! Very welcoming host and very attentive. In short, nothing better to recharge for a few days and explore the area.

Go there without so much as a second thought! We had a great time at Claire and Aurélien's, the house is perfect for a weekend or vacation with friends. Claire was attentive and very available throughout, contributing greatly to the success of this stay! A big thank you again

This tranquil place is perfect for a stop over or as a base to explore the region. It is close to the motorway and yet far enough from it no to be heard. There is a medium size supermarket and a large pet store nearby which is convenient. The village itself is worth a visit, especially on market day. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding of great quality. The log burner is user friendly and efficient. There is plenty of wood made available. The grounds are vast and very pleasant. Our labrador took full advantage of them. The owner is very friendly towards both dogs and people. The mairie has recently changed the street numbers but google has yet to receive the memo so it sends you to the wrong address. Make sure you double check the address with the owner before your arrival. This was a real find for us after travelling through France for 3 months. It is a perfect mid way stop over if you are travelling up or down on the west coast, especially with a dog. We'll be back:)

Just spent a wonderful few days in this charming accommodation. The setting is absolutely idyllic and the property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The gardens were magnificent with over an acre for our springer spaniel to romp around in. Franchise and Daniel were perfect hosts and even left a little welcome gift on arrival.

Very well located accommodation for family trips around Saumur, located on the charming Saint-Pierre square in the city center, lined with very decent restaurants/bars, and for all tastes (breweries, creperies, burgers, ice cream, at the foot of the building). Very functional apartment with TV/wifi, and relatively quiet (except on market days), despite a slightly dilapidated building. Free parking, 5 min walk from the building (going up to the castle). Extremely responsive and caring host (even remotely). Thank you Aurélien!

We loved our stay in Saumur and the apartment was beautiful, had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. Our host was lovely, going above and beyond, and provided great recommendations + some very thoughtful touches. The location was fantastic - walking distance to everything - great restaurants and lovely to be a part of the local town. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Very nice, cozy and clean accommodation. We were afraid of being woken up early because of its location in the city center, but in fact not at all. Super quiet. Perfect. I would recommend it and would come back without problem.
