The villa was just as described. Great location, walkable to the beach and close to bars and restaurants yet still private. We were able to check in early and were met by Maria’s family and all the amenities were explained well. Maria checked in with us regularly and came to clean during our stay. We even locked ourselves out and Maria was very helpful in getting us back in. Check out was also very smooth and easy. Overall a great stay and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

My group of 8 had a blast at the Gregory Villa. Nice and spacious backyard area that is perfect for relaxing, and plenty of interior space to accommodate all of us. Celine was one of the most attentive and communicative hosts I’ve ever had, offering us tons of recommendations for things to do during the day (and even booking them for our group) as well as providing us with transfer services all throughout the Heraklion area. Highly recommended and hope to return another time!

Le logement de Mme Rosa et Magdalena est une véritable perle dans le secteur d’Heraklion. Les couchers de soleil sont mémorables,la douche extérieure est formidable et le terrain de tennis est unique. Les hôtesses étaient aimables et les recommandations étaient utiles. Petit paradis! Nous recommandons sans hésiter!

Wir hatten in der Unterkunft einen JGA gemacht. Und hat es an nichts gefehlt. Es wurden Essen/Getränke zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir waren direkt verliebt und haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Für 6 Personen war es super und die Überraschung für die Braut ist uns auf jeden Fall gelungen. Ca. 15-20 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Heraklion, was absolut in Ordnung ist. Xristos ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sollte ich nochmal die Gelegenheit haben, würde ich immer wieder in dieses Airbnb :). Das Wetter war bei uns leider nicht so optimal, aber wir hatten trotzdem sehr viel Spaß. Danke für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt und die tolle Ankunft.

The villa is clean, well stocked, and spacious. Simos was incredibly responsive and great to communicate with. The area is lovely, with a few excellent restaurants in walking distance, wineries and olive farms really close, and Knossos Palace also a short drive away. It’s a great place to unwind and the proximity to the Heraklion airport is also a bonus if you’re flying off the island.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft von Pamela rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Kommunikation lief über ihren Sohn Lefteris – er hat super schnell und freundlich auf alle Nachrichten reagiert und uns sogar hilfreiche Tipps zur Autovermietung gegeben. Das Haus liegt perfekt: nah am Flughafen, nah am Meer, aber trotzdem angenehm ruhig. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gemütlich – man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Pamela selbst ist eine unglaublich warmherzige Gastgeberin, die sich liebevoll kümmert. 🥰Als besonderes Highlight hat sie uns morgens sogar mit einem selbstgebackenen Apfelkuchen überrascht!😋 Meine fünfjährige Tochter hat besonders den kleinen Spaziergang vom Haus zum Meer geliebt – mit traumhafter Aussicht. Abends auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, dem Vogelgezwitscher zu lauschen, aufs Meer zu schauen und nachts die Lichter vom Flughafen zu beobachten, war einfach magisch. Pamela und Lefteris sind Gastgeber mit Herz – wir können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder🫶☀️

I was visiting Kritsa from America and traveling alone. This home was perfect. It was a one minute walk to all the local stores and restaurant and such a cozy and clean home. The hosts were very responsive, the views were incredible and the home had everything I needed such as WiFi and an iron! Next time I am in Kritsa I will be sure to book here again.

Wir waren 14 Tage in dieser Unterkunft und als erstes muss ich die gastfreundliche Art von Manos hervorheben. Die Unterkunft befindet sich an einem ruhigen Ort absolut richtig zum entspannen und erholen. Wir selber waren mit einem Mietauto unterwegs um etwas von der Insel zu sehen viele tolle Orte sind in kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft so wie Lage sind absolut weiterzuempfehlen. Vielen Dank nochmals an Manos wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub.

We loved our 5 night stay here. Maria is a kind and helpful host who booked taxis for us and responded quickly to any questions we had. The apartment is very comfortable and nicely furnished with a wonderful view of Spinalonga and the sea as other guests have described. We really appreciated Maria's thoughtfulness in providing milk, fruit, snacks, and wine. The kitchen is also well stocked with condiments and tea and coffee. It is a 10 -15 minute walk down the hill to the beach and gorgeous turquoise blue water for swimming (take reef shoes or thongs for the smooth stone beach though). Of course that also means a walk back up the hill with no shade... Plaka is a delightful, small village with great restaurants overlooking the water. Maria's place is such a lovely place to relax and enjoy the wonderful view. You won't be disappointed.

I stayed with my wife and in-laws for three nights. The home was spacious and we enjoyed having the extra room. Thomais left us some treats in the fridge. A great home base. Note the beds are the firm side. The main living area has Air Conditioning but the upstairs bedrooms did not.

Es war alles perfekt!! Die Wohnung ist grösser als sie auf den Bildern aussieht. Alles ist sehr, sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts! Die Balkone sind super, ich habe es genossen auf der Liege in der Sonne zu liegen und in die Bäume zu schauen. Niemand kann auf den Balkon am Schlafzimmer rauf schauen, man hat hier wirklich seine Ruhe. Nur wenige Gehminuten und schon ist man in der lebendigen Altstadt. Trotzdem hat man hier seine Ruhe. Ich konnte gut schlafen und das Bett war sehr bequem. Man hat hier alles, was man benötigt und ich habe mich sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr angenehm und herzlich. Ich liebe Kreta und besonders Malia und kann auch diese Unterkunft ohne Einschränkung weiter empfehlen. Zudem gibt es einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Preis und Leistung ist ausgezeichnet!! My wife and I toured the Villa in the listing, and it was absolutely gorgeous, but we stayed at the single story Villa below and our review will reflect our experience there. One thing worth noting about the listed Villa is that it is two stories, both beautifully appointed. Our single story Villa, a part of the same complex, was beautiful, peaceful, and restful. The Villa was impeccably clean, the space spacious and airy, completely modern and luxurious but without pretense. I could live there year round and count myself fortunate. The location is fifteen or twenty minutes from a number of popular beaches, yet in the countryside far from the noise, clutter, and confusion of the city. The town has everything you need and nothing you don’t. If anything could be better than the villa it’s the host, Manos. Manos is the most friendly and generous host imaginable; a gentleman and beautiful person in every sense. If I have any regrets about the villa it’s that I didn’t book it for longer.

Un grand merci à Vasilis et Magdalena pour ce super séjour ! Leur réactivité, leur flexibilité pour notre arrivée et notre départ et les nombreux conseils et recommandations nous ont permis de profiter pleinement de la Crète. Logement propre et très agréable, avec l’essentiel à disposition. Localisation très pratique pour visiter et découvrir de nouveaux lieux. Seul bémol : le bruit des avions et de l’autoroute, un environnement assez bruyant pour la nuit. Merci encore !

Der Aufenthalt war super. Die Lage mit dieser schönen Aussicht direkt auf das Meer war hervorragend! Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und den Kindern hat es auch super gefallen. Wir konnten uns immer an Karolos wenden und er hat uns super Tipps für Restaurants und Unternehmungen gegeben. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen!

Lia was so helpful and amazing during our stay. Fast responses when asked questions, she provided us with not only comfort but made us feel like we are at home. We didn’t have a car so lia was kind enough to help us in every way possible. Lia was the best hostess we could have asked for and we are so grateful for her. Definitely the best place we have ever booked and we will definitely be recommending this to others and we will come back for sure!

Very nice, comfortable and impressive place - with beautiful interior, patio, and furniture. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Very near to the village square with many good restaurants and shops. I would definitely return again here!

Die Unterkunft war super schön eingerichtet und es war alles sa was man braucht und noch viel mehr. Alles war sehr sauber und ruhig. Miltaos Beach ist einfach ein super Ort zum Entspannen und Erholen. Man kann nett spazieren gehen oder in der Sonne liegen oder in eine der 6 Tavernen (alle mit super leckerem und günstigem Essen) einkehren. Wir war sehr zufrieden und kommen gern wieder.

Die Unterkunft war wie auf den Fotos und super gelegen. Es hat alles funktioniert und war sehr gastfreundschaftlich. Sauber und klimatisierte Unterkunft.

Highly recommend! A quiet area, close to everything. We stayed here start of October with our 14 yr old and 3 month old son. The apartment looks like the photos, very clean andy tidy. Very comfortable bed, was huge 💛. We had asked for a cot, which was there. The pool was lovely, very refreshing, solar heated. We were the only ones using it, due to out of main season, an unexpected luxury. The beach is a mix of sand and stones, literally just outside the gate. Within 10 mins walk is a supermarket, pharmacies, a patisserie with huge pain au chocolates - highly recommend, they also had pastries (cheese and bacon, mushroom and ham etc). If you walk along the sea front for about 20mins get into Gournes which has several beach bars, and restaurants/ cafes, we went to Taverna ambrosia, very good even had a baby change area (not everywhere has these) and soft play at the back. It’s a 45 min walk to the Creta aquarium, definitely worth a see. Ioannis arranged several taxis for us.

We were perfectly happy here, everything was as described, the hosts were super friendly and helpful, the house is perfectly equipped (we made heavy use of the sandwich toaster), there is more then enough room. The surroundings are perfect as well, it's quiet, and the beach is very near, there are also some nice restaurants there. Plus there is a bus to Heraklion that goes every half hour. There is really nothing to complain about, we felt immediately welcome, and had a great time.

Die Unterkunft war klasse und die Terrasse das Highlight. Moderne Wohnung, die Küche dürfte etwas besser ausgestattet sein. Das Bett war wirklich sehr bequem und die Klimaanlage hat uns manchmal den Schlaf gerettet. Der Ortskern 2min zu Fuß entfernt. Absolute Empfehlung !

We absolutely loved Yaya's Cozy House! It was a great location for us to do day trips from, with many beaches are near by. The towns of Kritsa, Elounda and Agios Nikolas are easy drives. The small village is very lovely and peaceful with groceries and bakery a very short drive to Neapoli. The house and garden is exactly as pictured and has all the amenities. Nikolas even brought us fresh mint and eggs! We highly recommend this place if you are looking for something off the beaten path and don't mind a bit of scenic driving!
