Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Lake Saint Clair

A completely private space with plenty of room, very comfortable and wonderful 'extra' touches (like some beverages in the fridge and homemade cookies upon check-in :-) They done a great job with the space and it's a lovely residential community very near/a short drive from anything you could want in Ann Arbor. Exactly as advertised - book with confidence!

They had great activities that we could join in with the other residents, every person on staff was super-nice, personable, and responsive. The security of the place was amazing! We had our own view of the doors from our room, and the ability to get in and out was also great. The balcony was an added bonus, and we spent the majority of our time when we were there, out on the balcony enjoying the view! Everything about Vicinia was amazing! They have a bar on premises (that closed at 7pm), but we were able to enjoy the festivities with the other residents. Everything there was clean and sanitized. They offered a breakfast until 9:30am, and coffee all day. There are so many great offerings from this AirBnB that we will absolutely return! Thank you for a wonderful experience and we will recommend Vicinia to anyone who will listen!

Great location, loved that it was so walkable as we didn't have a car. Place was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to be comfortable. The view was amazing and the host was very responsive!

My stay at Carole’s Motown Oasis was wonderful, choked full of amenities and plenty space to stretch out. It was clean and ready for a peaceful stay. Perfectly equipped for a short or long stay. Plenty of desk space for work and tv equipped in every room. It has a nice walk out patio perfect sunbathing or morning breakfast. All around great stay and better host cant wait to visit again.

Excellent place, very comfortable and good stay

The apartment was spotlessly clean and felt so homey and welcoming from the moment we walked in. It was absolutely perfect for our needs—comfortable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged. The location couldn’t have been better—close to everything we wanted to see and do, but still quiet and peaceful at night. And the host was friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We had a great stay at this apartment. Ron, who lives in the house above, is very friendly and accommodating. He let us have access to a second bathroom upstairs and even loaned my husband his ski gloves. He is a super host!

Auntie Blondie (as she told me to call her) was an awesome host. She was very thorough giving me a tour of the property and was a phone call away when I needed anything. This is easily one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed in! The place was beautiful, had all listed amenities, and was in a great location. Has views of the river and is close to several great downtown Sarnia restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Sarnia!

I stayed here for work, it was five minutes from my job and easily accessible to all major roads. Grocery store around the corner to get groceries the complex is clean, quiet, and cozy.

Excellent location and walking distance to everything! The unit is well appointed , quiet and clean, but could really use some upgraded lighting in the bathroom and living room.

Ruth Ellen's place is a gem! It is located near anything you might want or need but feels private and secluded. As a plus, Ruth Ellen is wonderful and is an excellent communicator.

This was a perfectly good place to stay. It was safe and easy to find. We were able to walk to a nearby brewery and uber was readily available. The hot tub was warm and was clean. We stayed in the downstairs unit. We could hear the people above us rather easily, but that’s par for the course in an older duplex. For a similar price of a hotel, I would opt to stay here again.

As two families traveling together, the layout and thoughtful amenities suited our needs perfectly, balancing comfort and functionality. Julius’s place was perfect. Everything exceeded expectations. The home was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. It had everything we needed and more, which made our stay smooth and enjoyable. You can tell it’s well cared for and thoughtfully set up. Julius was also very accommodating when we needed to adjust our reservation due to some minor changes in our plans. Communication was easy and pleasant throughout. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

The house is situated in very peaceful quiet neighborhood. The accommodations exceeded my expectations. I will definitely book another stay the next time I'm in windsor.

We stayed at Joseph's with our two young kiddos for three nights. We are super happy we found the house available and it lived up to its description 100%. The place is super cozy. The kitchen is GREAT. The main bedroom has a better mattress (and far superior pillows) than the JW Marriot we stayed at three weeks ago. Medium firmness and ultra-supportive! 10/10 on the mattress & bedding. THANK YOU!!! For the kids: The downstairs play area was much fun for our 4-1/2 yr-old girl and the air hockey was a blast. The bathroom had a kid's stool and the tub was kid-friendly (and still very comfortable for an adult). The house is very kid-friendly, but note that there is a staircase to the basement which is open to the main level. This was not a problem for us as our 1-3/4 yr-old was finally slightly intimidated by something (or he just didn't feel like making a break for it). For toddlers, you might ask about a gate. We would absolutely stay here again w/wo kids!

So happy with our stay here! Greg was a lovely host and graciously allowed for flexibility with our check-in time. Everything was as expected, and the binder of info and recommendations was much appreciated.
