Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lake Atitlán

We had an excellent stay here. The host and his father were incredibly helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The ladies that came and cooked for us were amazing. Food was amazing and so worth hiring them to cook for us. There really isnt anywhere to get food from around the area. Josue went and purchased the groceries for us and made sure that we had everything we needed. I cant wait to book this place again.

Beautiful home and surroundings

Vanessa's place is just like heaven, beautiful surroundings and she kept with new improvements all the time. The quality service that Rudy provides ( the house keeper) is awesome, he is always attentive to our needs and is very polite. We have booked Vanessa's house 3 times now, and are always happy to come back every Spring break.

The best lake view of all the houses I've visited in Sololá!!.. Mikaela and José were super attentive to help with everything... My children and nephews were delighted with the terraces and dock of the house, we'll definitely be back, thanks Monica

Simply spectacular, I would definitely stay there again, incredible view, everything worked perfectly, very comfortable. Ana Regina was always available. It includes daily housekeeping, which is great to rest without worrying about anything. We had some problems with the sink faucet, but it was probably just bad luck.

This place was PERFECTO!! Augustus wins the gold star award for being a great host. The place was perfect… a short walk to the new pier to catch a ferry to other villages, a beach walk to several restaurants- (El Dragon- was our favorite) - a short walk to the middle of the town - with lots of good restaurants, shopping and coffee shops. Claudia made us a lovely breakfast one morning with mint/lavender tea from the garden. The view each morning was wonderful… hot coffee in hand we soaked it up! … it really couldn’t get much better! Last night we used the adorable sauna.. thank you! It was just the perfect end to our day. Augustus was always available to help, give us ideas and recommendations! He booked us taxis and massage appointments. He was absolutely wonderful! I would definitely stay here again.

The place is very cute, great lake views. Don Juanito is very kind and very attentive, he would definitely come back again.

We had an amazing experience at this property! The gardens are absolutely stunning, and the yacht club is both beautiful and inviting. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely loved the kayak. However, we did encounter a few challenges. Access to the area can be a bit difficult, so we recommend arriving by 4x4 vehicle, boat, or tuk tuk. Additionally, it would have been helpful to know in advance that the "parking by premises" is located in a separate lot, not directly at the house. Unfortunately, we found ourselves stuck in the grass for a few days and were unable to move our vehicle. Thankfully, the gardener was kind enough to assist us in getting our van out. While the home itself is charming, it is slightly older compared to others in the area. The cabin could benefit from some updates, and we would caution families with young children, as there are no safety rails around the property. Overall, it’s a lovely place, but there are a few areas for improvement.

Lucho was very responsive and very helpful ! The manager Luis didn’t speak English but he did everything he could to assist !!

A magical place, the lake is impressive, having it literally in front, the accommodation has an upper and lower section, it is on sloping terrain, the magical part is the one below and there is a kitchen, we decided to be in that part most of the time. There are many steps, so it is advisable to wear tennis shoes. If you can swim, don't miss the part where you jump into the lake from the dock 😍

Everything was great! The house is comfortable and spacious, and has everything you need to spend a couple of days resting! The sauna and jacuzzi in the afternoon are the perfect way to end the day. The paddleboard is very fun, the beds are comfortable and there's a large TV and a comfortable sofa, perfect for resting. Tiburcio and Marina are also super friendly and willing to help!

Great place! The small house is next to a restaurant and is one of a dozen other similar houses. Area was clean, we could walk from Santiago Atitlan or use TukTuk quite easily. The access to the lake is very nice and you can use Kayaks and pool at anytime

Stunning property with an even better view. Ample space, felt so private, but still easily walkable to Santiago and tons of transport options. Nobody wanted to leave the house while we were there though because it was so nice. The private dock was a great swim and relax spot, and a couple kayaks too. Kitchen has all the basics for a big group, although no food at all and had to buy extra drinking water too. More than one key would have been helpful. But it was amazing, a beautiful place that was so perfect for us and I’d love to be able to go again. Happy new year

The house is very nice and the place is just as it appears in the photos. Don Julio welcomed us into the house. there is for kayaking fun, a small field to play badminton and volleyball. My friends and I had a great time at this place. Thank you very much

Don’t wait, BOOK NOW! You won’t regret it, it’s so beautiful & peaceful. A 5 minute walk to their farm full of animals: llamas, chickens, goats, pigs,etc. for free! You also get breakfast included & the people are so attentive & nice. Waking up to the sunrise thru the clear windows is something you have to experience. They have so many activities & a great restaurant too.

Nice place for relaxing, David was very helpful. The showers are literally the best hot showers I’ve ever had in my life, not even exaggerating. So powerful and hot, and solar powered which was cool. It’s right in front of the Tzununa dock, but there was a lot of construction work on the public infrastructure when I was there (David mentioned it was terrible timing in peak season). I highly recommend not taking a suitcase there, and be prepared to be a little tired because everything requires walking up and down. You need to make sure you take ear plugs, because the cabins are next to the road and although it is only an occasional car, because they are wooden means it sounds like you are next to them. Basically 1 shop and 1 restaurant within a 10 minute walk, so it’s very secluded. Eat before 6pm or you’re not going to get any food without taking a tuk tuk into town. David was very helpful, would stay here again but definitely travel lighter.

Great place! A little bit away from the town-so getting a tuk tuk can be a little challenging but not too hard. Place was clean and unique! Luis was great at communicating!!

We are a family of 4 (1 currently living in Guatemala) and we absolutely loved this home. Note that it is a family home passed down through generations and is a bit rustic, and requires visitors to be mindful. Some features such as the windows need to be treated with care. The grounds are extraordinary and walkable. The guardian Juan José was available to help if we needed anything including shopping for our BBQ. He lit an outdoor fire and we relaxed under the stars. We made use of paddle boards and kyack. I can't say enough about how helpful Joaquin was before during and after our stay. Thank you thank you

Such a beautiful house, with stunning views. The location offers a peaceful environment and is a real escape. Cerro de Oro doesn’t offer volvano views, but it’s got direct access to the lake; the water was so clean and pleasant to swim in. The house is a little old, but that’s not a problem. Great value overall. Don Martin, the person on hand was always helpful.

What a magical stay at Ricardo’s cabanas. Ricardo and his son David are both just purely amazing people. Ricardo has constructed everything with such great intention and detail and it’s continuing to grow. They’ve treated me just like family and everything was excellent quality. Pillows, sheets, blankets all so comfortable and well made and the shower is HOT. Tzunana is a quaint area with little restaurants and nightlife but exactly what I was looking for. I will return and I know I have friends for life with them.
