Set in a 'village de charme' on the Loire River, (8km from Saumur & 7km to Gennes) La Maison Bleu is a 18th century house which we have lovingly restored. On a quiet side street next to the Eglise Saint Aubin, this 2 bed, 2 bath property has all mod cons whilst taking you back to a simpler time. Relax, breathe, take a walk along the river, cycle to a wine tasting. Its all here in our village. Unfortunately, we cannot take pets at this time.

The Kingfisher - A house on the Loire's banks

The "Kingfisher" is the perfect place from which to discover the beauty of the Loire Valley. The Loire flows directly by the foot of this two hundred year old house, which is located in the picturesque village of Chênehutte. After a peaceful night’s rest you can go for a bike ride in the countryside, along the Loire, in the forest or simply rest under a parasol while listening to the river and observing its beautiful flora and fauna. Perhaps, if you are lucky, you might even see a kingfisher!

Food and drink available on site. just next to a lake where you can go fishing , walking or running, cycling, play ground for kids plus picnic table and other activities available. another lake is right behind us where you can go do some bird watching in a middle of quite country side just a step away from the chateaux de la Loire, 20 min away from the zoo bio parc de doué la Fontaine, vineyard where you can have wine testing.

Ideally located in a quiet historic district of Saumur, a ten-minute walk to the city center, your accommodation is furnished with great care, in an outbuilding of our house, in the heart of a charming garden enclosed by walls. The cottage is arranged as a studio, with a large living room, kitchen area and separate bathroom. The toilet is in the bathroom. Everything is on one level and overlooks the garden. Free public parking in front of the property.

Pavilion on the banks of the Loire between Angers and Saumur

The pavilion, independent of my house, overlooks the Loire. It's great for a couple's getaway. It is ideal as a base for exploring the roads and paths of the Loire, to visit the countless known castles or lesser-known residences that line it. You will never forget the sunrises over the Loire in the early morning in one of the most beautiful villages of the wild Loire (halfway between Angers and Saumur). It is now equipped with mosquito nets... Welcome!
