Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in La Fortuna

Karla is a wonderful host. She greeted us at her home and took us to our rental. She gave us a tour of the home and even left us fresh fruit & Coca-Colas. The home is beautiful but the backyard is the most magical part. Beautiful flowers and a beautiful seating area to hang out in. And the view of the river? Wow! Absolutely beautiful. My husband loved being able to walk down to the river to bird watch and my personal favorite was the tiny little frogs. It is an oasis! We had a very minor problem with some tiny ants, but Karla was quick to provide a solution. She is kind, responsive & all around the perfect host! She has also gone above & beyond to ensure that you feel safe with so many different safety measures. And I can’t forget to mention that the beds are so comfy! We all slept like babies! We love Karla and you will too!

We had a wonderful stay at Erick’s place on our trip to La Fortuna. The house was beautiful and fully equipped with everything you needed. We will definitely be back if we’re in the area again.

Excellent place to relax and stay with your friends and family

I loved this house because of the big windows looking over the trees. We had a group of monkeys visit the balcony. Breakfast was good.

My family and I had a wonderful week at the Tikita Family House! We were looking for something spacious and within walking distance of town (since we weren’t renting a car), and this place was perfect. We could easily walk to restaurants and grocery stores, and Ubers were very accessible from the house. The hot tub was especially nice at night—just be sure to turn it on a few hours before using it! We also used the travel consultant (Mi Viaje Costa Rica) recommended by the host and had a great experience. They organized our private transfers to and from the airport, as well as several activities throughout the week. I’d definitely recommend using their services too!

El alojamiento de Andrea es estupendo. Fácil de llegar, con buena seguridad, y con todos los elementos necesarios para pasar una excelente estadía. Una nota aparte para Andrea. Fue una host realmente excelente. Siempre un paso adelante. Seguramente, la mejor host desde que usamos Airbnb. Absolutamente recomendable. Muchísimas gracias y espero que podamos volver.

Una casa limpia la atención muy buena y la ubicación está cerca de todo

Adrian and Erick were super accommodating; kind and attentive. The unit is small but has all your basic needs to enjoy your stay. The amazing glass wall facing the forest and the upper terrace enhances the experience of Monteverde. Still laying in bed we got to see a magnificent array of beautiful birds, white face monkeys, a Coati family, amazing butterflies and interesting insects. We set upstairs on the upper terrace drinking our morning coffee and our evening tea. We got to watch an evening thunder storm brewing in the distance - magnificent site. The unit is in a gated area. walkable to shops, restaurants and other amenities. Kitchen is well equipped. Lots of towels in the bathroom and extra blankets. One downside is the unit is a shipping container which is attached to another unit. There is no sound proofing so you will hear everything your next door neighbours are saying and doing. Luckily for us we were on our own most of our stay. Overall we had a wonderful stay!!!

Yesenia und ihr Sohn sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft herzlich von ihrem Sohn empfangen und haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft entsprach genau den Fotos und der Beschreibung – alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt war alles Nötige vorhanden. Die Lage ist zwar etwas außerhalb des Zentrums, dafür aber angenehm ruhig. Mit dem eigenen Auto war alles gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Loved my stay here! Looks just like the pictures & everything was clean. Had enough toiletries & towels, comfy bed. Easy check-in. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, and convenient stores. 15-20min drive to many excursions. Great location. The only downside was the noise from construction which is out of her control, it was really loud but I slept through it. Overall rating 9.7/10, definitely recommend!

Where can I start....This is my first time to La Fortuna and we had a great vacation with the help of Gregory. Gregory's is a great host and his property is one of a kind which suits well for La Fortuna environment with lot of nature to enjoy inside his property. He helped in almost everything including recommending a nice Chef Gabriel.

Cristian is a great host! He lives on site and is eager to help. He did our laundry and even drove us to the bus station in town when we were leaving! He is a welcoming host and very kind. The room itself was just what we needed for a few days in La Fortuna. The pool is perfect as the weather is very hot and humid there. I will definitely book Cristian’s place again if we go back to La Fortuna!

Her får en mye for pengene. Leiligheten vi bodde i var fin. Den lå fredelig til. Ingen støy. Samtidig en kort spasertur til sentrum. En god restaurant like ved. Området hadde god trygg parkering. Jeg vil definitivt anbefale dette stedet. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake. Det beste stedet jeg har bodd på i La Fortuna. Kan anbefales. Aircondition og velutstyrt kjøkken. Sengene var gode. Sofaen og tv var upåklagelig. Vi hadde det helt supert. Tusen takk for oss.

Wenn man das Auto im gesicherten Innenhof verlässt, wird man gleich von dem beeindruckenden Pool empfangen. Weiter geht es durch den sehr schönen Garten zur Unterkunft. Hier verschlägt es einem die Sprache: unglaublich schönes Apartment. Liebevoll eingerichtet und zugleich funktional. Sehr gepflegt, sehr sauber, Betten und Badezimmer hervorragend. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, es wurde an viele Sachen gedacht, die man gar nicht erwartet. Die Kommunikation hat die ganze Zeit einwandfrei und unkompliziert funktioniert. Es gab sogar eine PDF, mit klaren Beschreibungen. Selten so eine schöne Unterkunft gesehen, wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

We had a wonderful stay at Sol y Luna in La Fortuna. The accommodations are charming just as pictured and we were happy to have this little oasis to come back to every night. We were contacted by Susana to have a new stove installed one morning, unfortunately the timing didn't work for us. The hosts respected our privacy and I presume the stove was installed after we checked out. Thank you for sharing a little piece of paradise with us.

Chambre avec un balcon donnant une vue sur les montagnes et la péninsule de Nivoya au loin, à couper le souffle! Le balcon et la chambre sont spacieux et bien entretenus! les lits sont confortables! La salle commune, bien équipée est accueillante et une atmosphère harmonieuse et spirituelle est présente! Piscine et bain chaud hauts de gamme et bien entretenus! À monteverde, le bain chaud à servi, contre tout attente un soir à 15degré Celcius!

Alojamiento impecable, igual a las imágenes, nos encantó, todo muy limpio y muy cómodo, con todo lo necesario para una noche, la cama es muy acogedora, tv con cable e internet 🛜. Zona muy segura y tranquila. Don Cristian es súper amable y atento en todo momento. Volveremos pronto 💯👍.

It's a great place to stay at, however, what we missed was hot water at the kitchen and bathroom sinks. otherwise all good, we'd recommend it.
