I can’t recommend this experience enough! I’ve always thought that one of the best ways to get to know a place is through tasting, savoring, and ingesting the local flora, and the fermented elixirs that Isa and Gabriel have to offer is probably the closest I’ve ever gotten to being able to truly taste Brasil. All the wild-fermented libations they’ve managed to curate are utterly memorable and crafted with care. Whether it’s a caju vermouth or a cachaça aged 18 years in oak barrels, you’re gonna leave this experience wondering why Brazilian alcoholic beverages aren’t at the forefront of the conversation. They should be, and soon enough, they will be. Of course, curation is everything, and our host, Gabriel, did an incredible job storytelling and opening our eyes to all the wild tastes Brasil has to offer. He really knows his stuff and is an incredible human. Made some lovely friends, too, and got to practice my Portuguese. You really can’t ask for more!
