The location and setting was very unique and beautiful, a nice and pleasant change from the usual evenings of restaurants. It was also great to learn something about the region from our hostess Antonella.
I thought there could have more substance to the food, for the money we paid. We had some small bowls of starters of olives, marinated artichokes, sundried tomatoes and peppers and some olive oil tasting, which was nice. Main course was stuffed zucchini, fresh cherry tomatoes. Main course was a water salad, which was crusted bread soaked in water in a small amount of salad, olive oil, oregano and salt. This water salad is a very typical dish for the region.
All of this was accompanied by 3 bottles of wine from the region. There were 5 of us in the group.
Although there is a picture of meatballs in tomato sauce on the Airbnb website this was not served. There was a lot of bread served. Perhaps a bowl of pasta added from the region would have made a huge difference overall.
