Communication with host was easy and very prompt and friendly. The house suited our needs with spacious rooms and heating/cooling however some additional maintenance in areas may be required. Overall a great stay.

Absolutely loved our stay. Really enjoyed the variety of fantastic spaces around the house to relax and unwind, comfy couches and a well equipped kitchen. Location is perfect, only 5 min drive down the hill to grab supplies and 5 min walk to the edge of the Dandenong Ranges National Park. We went for bush walks almost every day of our stay, and were lucky enough to see wallabies, lyrebirds, and one time even saw a deer. Really felt like home.

Pemmy is an incredible host who truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. From the moment we arrived, her attention to detail and kindness made our stay unforgettable. The digital guidebook was a lifesaver—it made navigating the area effortless, and I especially loved how she shared her local favorites. Her responsiveness to questions (even on the day of check-out!) showed how much she values her guests’ comfort. We left feeling like we’d made a new friend in the neighborhood. Pemmy’s home is not just a place to stay—it’s a welcoming, well-kept space with heart. We’ll definitely be back soon and can’t wait to recommend her to others!

Very relaxing

Perfect getaway for a family wedding in the dandenong ranges. Very comfortable, homey and filled with thoughtful touches. Clean and comfortable. Great easy communication with the host.

Frank was great to communicate with and very accommodating, even with last-minute changes. Frank's home is wonderful, spacious and very clean. The Balcony is to die for, and I wrote a chapter for my next book on the swinging chair. The only slight disappointment was that the pool is actually a pond. You can dip in it, but it is not for swimming laps it is relatively small and full of fish. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life, endlessly quiet, beautiful sunrises from the comfort and warmth of your bed.

My kids love the place and great locations with convenient supermarkets. The host Jing Jing is very nice and replied in time.

This little peace of heaven was perfect for our family to celebrate my 40th birthday. From the moment we walked in the front gate to see the house amongst the gum trees and then the waterfall from the bedroom. We felt like we stepped into an old fairytale world with our own treehouse. Everywhere we walked felt like little fairy’s were waiting to greet us. The ferns throughout and stepping stones between each area made for the best adventures. The kids loved watching the frogs and tadpoles in the back pool. The natural pool was incredible and soul nourishing. Our first experience with a natural pool and it was breathtaking, especially being able to swim under the waterfalls. Thank you so much Sarah, we hope to return sometime Soon.

Saeed's property was as described. Inside the house, there was ample space to relax and unwind. The house was clean and tidy and the BBQ was prepped and ready for use. The pool area was also clean and easy to access. The internal central heating worked really quickly when the night became cold. The house was set up with a swing, hammock, fooseball table as well as a few other games. Saeed was a helpful and responsive host, willing to accommodate us. I would mention that it is one large house on the property, separating guests from Saeed's family by an internal locked door (so noise could be heard from the other side of the door). The pool can also be seen from the entire house, so if you wanted privacy, this is probably not the accommodation for you.

We had a great stay at Tanglewood, we were visiting family on the area. Lovely place well kitted out very peaceful and tranquil and a good size. Roslyn is lovely and a great host. We would definitely recommend and return

Clare was an absolutely amazing host and her house is incredible! I stayed here with my family the weekend after my wedding and it was so special. Clare was so accomodating and had assured we had everything we needed- including setting up a cot, high chair and other items for my baby nephew. The house was pristine and felt cosy and welcoming. It was in a great location and had enough space for all of us (4 couples and a baby). The cinema room was an added bonus to watch the footy on! I will never forget the memories we made at your airbnb Clare, reminising on the wedding and teaching the family the wedding dances on the back porch, thank you!

Despite getting a little lost at the end of Grey Gum Ct in the dark, we found the location and were very pleased with it. I would happily book again the next time I am bringing colleagues to the Dandenongs.

We booked this airbnb because we were visiting a friend in the area. This area is really beautiful and well worth a visit, everything we loved about the nature came together in this airbnb. The hosts arranged this little studio beautifully, and thought about every detail, using the space very efficiently. All was clean and cozy; because of all the windows it feels as if you are right outside in the forest. Michaela surprised us with some delicious muffins and it was nice getting recommendations about the area from her and Mark. We were lucky that our friend took us out everywhere, but we saw that many places we visited were captured in the visitors map and folder. Even if you are new to the area, or like to be surprised, this airbnb has it all. The garden was especially pretty and we heard some of the kookaburras in the morning, along with many other birdsong. It’s centrally located as well, with Tecoma station right around the corner. Percect for escaping Melbourne. Thank you so much!
