We had the most beautiful couple of days in Karen's place. The home is amazing with modern and beautiful bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. The most amazing views and area is so peaceful and easy to access several towns in the Huon Valley area. East access to the Ferry terminal for Bruny Island. There are many restaurants and Wineries in the region which are worth a visit. Karen is a fabulous host and will help with dining recommendations and travel instructions. Would highly recommend a visit!

This place is great, location is perfect for exploring the island and accessing the water. There are kayaks for you to use! Great outdoor spaces, we loved the bbq and the gardens full of native plants and birds. Kitchen small but everything you need. Wood heater for when it’s cold was handy.

We felt very spoilt - arriving to homemade bread, with produce from John and Ruth's garden, was such a treat. The chalet is beautifully furnished and equipped, with meticulous attention to detail, it had everything we wanted and more. It was warm and comfortable, providing the perfect place for my partner and me to spend some much-needed downtime. John and Ruth were easy to communicate with and all instructions were clear, making the whole stay really relaxing.

A beautiful, peaceful and spacious cottage with an abundance of charm. The kitchen was very well stocked for making meals, and it was delightful to watch to pademelons and wallabies in the yard. It was surprisingly warm, despite the many large windows, and the fireplace was perfect on a rainy evening. Con provided ample cut firewood for our stay. The home was very clean and cozy. Note that there is not wifi and service from Optus is minimal on Bruny Island, but Con provided a detailed book with recommendations around Bruny Island. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

We were in awe with how beautiful and tranquil the property was. The yurt was very cosy and romantic at the same time. If you're worried about visiting in the colder months, don't be! There was plenty of wood and kindling for the fire, electric blankets, throw blankets and everything you need to keep warm and toasty. The hot steamy bath outside in the cold, fresh air was a perfect balance. Jess and Mark were also so accommodating for us and our 11 month old who ended up coming along with us.. We thought we would have to cancel our trip but they were happy for us to bring her and they even made sure there was a fire guard in the yurt waiting for us. There was room for her portacot and she ended up being able to experience the beauty of the accommodation and bruny island in general with us. It's a memory we will share forever and we are looking forward to revisiting in the future when we can have a more romantic trip with just the two of us.

If in the area in the future, we would have no hesitation in coming back. Priscilla was friendly and always on hand to help with questions should the need have arisen.

What a wonderful place! Every conceivable piece of equipment, all in first class running order. Fully stocked kitchen and dining area. Not only an electric blanket but an electrically adjustable bed! A very beautiful and perfectly furnished cottage with a fabulous veranda overlooking forest and mountains. Michelle was a charming and generous host.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful Opossum Bay property. It was absolutely perfect for our two families—spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is stunning, with a lovely beach just a stone’s throw away and a jetty nearby that was perfect for fishing. We especially loved the fireplace—it made the evenings feel extra cosy. A really special spot to unwind and reconnect. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful place to stay, in a beautiful location. The accommodation had everything that you would need, was spotless, and the welcome pact was extremely generous. It is a great place to explore the island. If we had know in advance how charming it was here we definitely would have extended our stay. One of the best experiences we have had and would recommend staying here to anyone.

Adventure Bay is a spectacular location and Gina’s ‘Hideaway’ is a fabulous base from which to explore it. The house has everything you need in a super restful location. You can hear the waves crashing. I enjoyed the Quiet Corner beach, the nearby Fluted Cape walk, riding my bike up to Cookville (saw a white wallaby near Bligh Museum) and the Cape Lighthouse. Such a fun island.

We loved Craig's place! So quiet with gorgeous views. Our beautiful studio was perfect..brekkie was provided for both days of our stay. Would have loved to use the fire pit but indulged ourselves with the indoor gas fire instead. And yes Craig, the bathroom floor heating was a winner! We also did the talk tour through the Raptor Rescue Centre which was fascinating. All up a great experience.

We stayed at The Hide for three nights and we did not want to leave! The place is absolutely amazing and peaceful. Not only do you get to completely unwind, you get daily bread deliveries from the Bruny Baker! What more can you ask for! Jenene and John are friendly amazing hosts and of course thank you to Mikey for the morning visits. Do yourself a favor and stay here, you won’t be disappointed! We will be back for sure.
