Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kawasaki

Hiroki was the host during our stay. The place really did match the description and actually exceeded our expectations. Hiroki was always a generous, friendly and helpful host while also sensitively respecting our privacy. And his English is perfect which also helped! He told us this had been his grandfather’s house. He still runs a super community cafe and gift shop adjoining the house. The garden is really lovely too. And the bikes! The house was perfect for our small family reunion in Japan. Chigasaki is a lovely town, off the international tourist map but with gorgeous coastline, surfing scene, Hawaii vibes!, views of Mount Fuji and fabulous restaurants and bars. Also very well connected by train and a great local bus which stops right outside the house. Day trips to Enoshima, Kamakura, Tokyo and Hakone. Also took a weekend to visit Kyoto by bullet train. All a perfect introduction for a first (or subsequent) visit to Japan.

This was an amazing property located in a beautiful surrounding . We had a great stay at this place. To top it, the host was super helpful. Very prompt in answering our queries. Staff was so helpful that they even came forward to pick up our luggage. House had everything required. Tokyo being expensive place, size of houses are not big. But this apartment had everything which we need to have a good and relax stay. Thank you again. Appreciate all the help

Die Unterkunft war sauber, gepflegt, sah genau so entzückend aus wie auf den Bildern und hatte eine super Bahnverbindung in die Stadt. Genau das, was wir uns vorgestellt hatten! Der Gastgeber war sehr zu vorkommend, extrem hilfreich und super freundlich. Er hat sehr schnell geantwortet und immer versucht zu helfen. Es war eine sehr tolle Erfahrung, die ich nur weiter empfehlen kann!

We arrived really early and needed to leave our luggage at airbnb before our check in time and our host was very accommodating.

Had a great stay! The area is quiet and calm and very beautiful. Station is a simple walk away. Lots of great local food! The host was very communicative and understanding. I didn’t know when I booked that there were stairs, not a problem at all for us but keep that in mind! The space was nice and there are even balconies in two of the rooms, loved to sit there and watch the rain. The home is nice and well kept, extra linens and all. Would absolutely book again.

We stayed at Emi’s place with 4 adults and 2 kids, and it was very comfortable. Easy to find, close to the station- manageable with kids and luggage. We liked the area- lots of bars and alley ways/streets to explore. Very clean place with everything we needed. Emi was quick to respond- great communication.

Osamu was extremely helpful and responsive, the house was in a great quiet neighborhood close to good restaurants and we had an amazing time.

Great stay in Tokyo with hubby and 11 year old twins. Location was perfect...halfway between Shibuya/harajuku and Ginza so we could hop on the subway and get to our destination with just a few stops. The outdoor space was lovely and I enjoyed my coffee there every morning. I did laundry twice (they provided detergent-very nice) and could easily hang the clothes outside to dry. The neighborhood had some great restaurants just a few blocks away and was far less crowded than other neighborhoods... would definitely recommend this place!

Apartment was very clean and in a peaceful location. Walking distance from a train station. Host was very kind, and allowed us to store our luggage at the front desk before check in and after check out. Would stay here again!

Great place, great location, great neiborhood. We rented this place at discount so it was superb value for the money. I would not rent it for the full price through. Building seems very new as well as the room. Internet connection was good. Beds are a bit hard for my taste, but OK. It was very quiet, we slept with open window. You can't hear big road, so you can sleep peacefully. And it's very close to everything, Metro, sky tree mall, a lot of combini shops around.

Jang was very responsive. Location was wonderful with shops and restaurants right outside of property.

We stayed for 5 nights with two toddlers. The host wasn’t able to provide us with a crib, but they did provide a high chair. The place looks exactly like the photos. It was bright, and tastefully decorated. It was a comfortable place for us to spend time, and felt big enough for the kids to play around. There was one tall set of stairs to get into the unit, so expect to carry your suitcase briefly. The hosts were very easy to communicate with, and always responded in a timely manner. The location was about a 1km walk from the nearest train station. It was always a beautiful walk and did not feel long at all. The walk/train combination took about 40 minutes to get into Tokyo hot spots. There were restaurants and an Aeon nearby for all of your needs. We would highly recommend this location to anyone wanting a bright and quiet stay. We would happily return!

Sho's flat is a perfectly located room in a neighbourhood which is fun to explore - tons to do, all within walking distance. The nearby temples/shrines are sublime. Take Sho's excellent food recommendations - all of which turned out to be exceptional; recommended walk to the gym/pool also great. (Within blocks, there is a restaurant-filled quarter - incredible variety.) The walks themselves are scenic, and the location convenient to virtually all of Tokyo. Sho was always kind, helpful and responsive. The room is a great place to crash...do bring earplugs, though, as you are at the mercy of the guests upstairs (who may not walk on tiptoe.) The character of the small room is that of a simple hotel - it is not very personal or apartment-like. The bathroom is comfortable, clean and functions well. Although the check-in process sounded quite elaborate, it ended up being easy. Choose this place for the location and exploring ...and for a good night's sleep, as the room is small and simple.

It was our first time in Japan and this place was a perfect location just minutes walking distance to Kyodo station. From there it is very easy to travel to other locations throughout Tokyo. There is a great mall next door with lots of dining options to choose from and a 7-11 right outside the station for quick bites. The home was well suited and comfortable! The bathroom shampoo and conditioner smelled so good. WiFi was quick and AC was cold, which was great especially on the hot days after walking all over Tokyo. Toshi was very quick to respond to questions even before booking. We would definitely return and recommend this home to anyone traveling to Tokyo!

We stayed at Toshi's place two years in a row and couldn't be happier. The location is amazing being close to the beach, many cute shops and cafe, the train station and main street of Hase. The place is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully managed with all the amenities you need and more. Toshi is a great host and always responsive, and provided very clear instructions. We felt very welcome and highly recommend staying here!

The apartment was great, the location was great, and Bryan was very flexible with all our needs! Definitely one of the best places to stay in Tokyo. We would definitely recommend his place to a family visiting Tokyo and looking for a comfortable stay!

Hitomi took amazing care of me and my daughter while we were her guests! She sent us a detailed list of recommendations for the neighborhood including kid-friendly highlights. When my daughter needed to go to the doctor, she sent a list of clinics. She also helped me ship some luggage to make my train trip easier. She was an incredible host, always going above and beyond. This is a vibrant area, with so many great cafes, shops etc and easy to get to other parts of Tokyo by train. The apartment has everything you need, very generous hosts. Easy checkin and good communication.

A cozy place in a quiet neighbourhood. There are two subway stations nearby so commuting was a breeze. The apartment was exactly as described. The washroom was clean and efficient and having two toilet seats really helped, though fitting into the smaller toilet needed some gymnastics. Though portrayed as two bedrooms, it’s impossible to fit the second bed in the kitchen cum dining area. If there are three of you then everyone has to sleep in the same room. There were small niggles like bedside lamp not working and a bedside table drawer coming off. Easily checked sorted before guests arrive. The balcony definitely needs scrubbing. Overall a nice, pleasant and peaceful stay. Mathew is doing a great job. This place is highly recommended.

The residence has everything you need for to rejuvenate after a day out in the city. Amenities include hotel toiletries and vanity kits, coffee, tea, clothes washer and dryer. There is a paid parking lot across the street in case it is needed for a car. Access to trains makes for a quick trip to Haneda airport, Yokohama city center and shopping and an hour ride to center of Tokyo. Also easy access to connect to Shinkansen for day trips. 7-11, Lawson's, and Family Mart are around the corner as well as a walkable shopping area with lots of eateries. The size is great for couples or a family with one small child that doesn't mind sharing the bed or sleeping on a futon.
