The greatest thing about this Airbnb is undoubtedly the hosts! They were so incredibly warm, generous, and hospitable. In a city as vast and bustling as Tokyo, their kindness made me feel genuinely cared for on a personal level – a truly special experience. They went to lengths no other Airbnb host has ever done for me. It was such great value too! Beyond the amazing hosts, the neighborhood itself was wonderfully quiet, offering a peaceful retreat from the city buzz. A real highlight of the accommodation was the fantastic bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak, and the modern Japanese toilet. I also loved that there were rivers nearby, which were great for my afternoon jogs. Being close to Ikebukuro was a huge bonus! It was so easy for me to pop over for great coffee and a good selection of vegetarian food. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable, welcoming, and genuinely heartwarming stay in Tokyo!

Wouw it couldn't be any better!! masa is such a nice guy and very welcoming! upon arriving we felt welcome, he explained everything and went his way. he had answers for every question we had and helped us to the best of his ability. upon arriving we gave him some Dutch gifts ( fridge magnet of a wooden shoe with tulips and a pack of stroopwafels) this shook him but he accepted it with a smile from ear to ear! the accommodation was clean and well taken care of, plenty of room for 2 people and really close to Ebara-machi station, which we used the most to get around. friendly people around Ota and the 7-11 around the corner is also very helpful! next time we are planning to stay longer! Domo arigato gozaimasu masa-san!

A very decent stay in a quiet neighborhood with lots of room. There’s a coin laundry that you’re recommended to use not far from the home if you’re in a rush and leaving things to hang dry would take too long. Cozy stay overall.

とても綺麗にされており、アメニティや備品関係も全て揃っており不自由なく快適に過ごせました。 川口駅へも10分前後の徒歩圏内です。 ただ、滞在最終日前日に突然知らない男女の方が玄関から入ってきた時はびっくりしました。 聞くと１階は居住スペースがあようですが真摯に対応していただけました。 （２階からがスペースとなるようで、そちらの階段部分には施錠できる扉あります） そのびっくりした件以外はとても良かったです。 また是非利用させてください。

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. She dressed us in beautiful kimonos, carefully helping us put them on the correct way. Drinking matcha that was pure and fresh—words fail me. It was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Yuki's home is perfect for a small family or small group. Amenities are complete and it is near grocery and convenience store. It is located in a residential area so it is quiet and less people to encounter with. The only downside I had in my stay is that, the place is a bit far from tourist attractions in Tokyo (usually 1 hour travel time back and forth by train) so you really have to plan ahead your itinerary for the day. Yuki is very responsive and helpful. Thank you for sharing your home with us Yuki!

좋은 숙소 위치 덕분에 교통 편이 정말 좋아서 타 지역 가기 정말 편하고 좋았습니다. 숙소에서 지내고 있을 때 에도 궁금한 게 있으면 바로 바로 메세지로 대답 해주시고 숙소도 깨끗해서 정말 좋았습니다. 여러모로 편의를 봐주신 점 진심으로 감사합니다. 덕분에 즐거운 여행을 할 수 있었고 편하게 잘 쉬었습니다.

Es un gran lugar para ir y conocer un Tokio más tranquilo. Hay un Family Mart próximo y buenos lugares para comer o hacer compras. También los medios de transporte públicos están cerca. 🙌🙌🙌

Very close to the station which has an above ground and underground that takes you into the center of Tokyo within 30 minutes. A bit cramped with 3 people but very doable if you are out of the house most of the day. Good food spots around the area.

Un alojamiento muy cómodo para lo que es Tokio . Si bien está lejos de la ciudad el tre estaba a 5 cuadras y en 30 minutos estábamos en shibusha. Muy amplio o como en las fotos y el anfitrión nos respondía inmediato. Como llegamos temprano nos dejó ingresar antes del horario del check in gracias y Me volvería a alojar con ustedes

Perfect place to stay for the final night of my trip. Yasutaka’s apartment has a sauna, ice for ice baths, a massage chair, and anything else you need. Location is a little remote/quiet, but easy access to trains. It was a relaxing and to a beautiful two weeks in Japan.

It was a great stay! The communication was incredible and the instructions were very clear. Just know you will have to be incredibly quiet while here, so if that is not for you then this is not the stay for you. It’s in a residential area so it’s important to respect the neighbors and the area.

After the noise and chaos of central Tokyo, it was great to unwind in Saitama. The accomodation was perfect for solo travel, and had everything that was needed (I would like to highlight the excellent laundromat nearby). The host communicated perfectly and quickly, and was very accommodating to my panicked questions. Wonderful experience altogether.

My husband and I, along with our 9 year old son, traveled to Japan for the first time and had the best stay at Andy’s inn. He was very responsive, the place was not huge but was big enough to fit our needs. The beds were comfortable, clean, there was heating and air conditioning, microwave and fridge. There is a washer but no dryer, which wasn’t a problem bc we just hung our clothes outside the patio to dry. The train station and 7-11 is only a couple minutes away. We walked to Shinjuku within 20 minutes. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay near the action but still have peace and quiet!

The house was absolutely spotless! It was easy 10-12mins walking distance from Ikebukuro station. 7/11 and shopping malls nearby. Though the house was tiny, I suppose that's the tokyo standard, but cleverly decorated & organized. easily felt at home.

Fantastic place and so close to the train station which we could use the Tokyo Metro Pass with! Lockers are available for luggage storage should guests arrive before check in time!

Logement petit et tres mignon. Proche de la station de métro et de Shinjuku . Le logement est propre et convient parfaitement pour un couple . Je recommande

We had a lovely stay at Shunki’s place! Everything was clean and spacious with easy check in and out instructions. The location was convenient to the train station and we had multiple convenient stores and shops for our every day needs. We were welcomed with a box of treats when we arrived and it was super sweet! Highly recommend :)

I love this place. It’s in a quieter neighbourhood and the room is sizeable especially for the standards in Japan. Only thing is if you don’t like the noise coming from upstairs as the walls are a bit too thin, choose the top floor. But it’s only accessible by stairs. Train station is closed by, convenient.

This was a great place to stay. it has a lot of good attractions nearby and the place itself was really nice.
