Welcome to our little wooden tree house made of recycled materials! The cottage is 6.2 meters up with views of the fields. It is 4.4 m2, insulated with electricity and heating, there is a kitchenette and a sofa bed, which can be turned into a 123 cm wide/190 cm long bed with a good mattress. There are two terraces for the cottage - one outside and one upstairs. There is running water outside the cottage and downstairs there is a camping toilet with sink. Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

You live in a newly produced house of 36 sqm with room for 2-4 people and your own private, furnished patio. Coffee, tea and muesli/flakes are included. During the high season May-September, only reservations for a minimum of 2 people are accepted.

Fjordgarden - Guesthouse

Our guest house is situated only 100m from Holbæk Fjord by a little lake surrounded by trees. When you live in the house you are close to nature, with easy access to the Fjord. The fjord is often used for water sports. Bicycle- and walking routes makes it easy to take tours, and with a short distance to the center of Holbæk (5 km) you can easily experience the town. Because of the lake, just in front of the guesthouse, it is not suitable for smaller children.

Our little guesthouse is cosy and quite, in the end of the "street". It is simple, estetic and easy to like. The veranda gives you possibility to look at the boat passing by to Denmark and Gothenburg. If you like to get inspirated och to take long walks, this is a perfect place for You. We have a couple of restaurants on the island and help You find the best places to bath, walk and eat. Quiet and close to nature.
