Villa vacation rentals in Kandy

We stayed for 2 nights at Kingsman House in Kandy and had a wonderful time. Though we checked in late at night, the manager (Max) was ready to receive us. The villa is lovely with 8 bedrooms which can accomodate a large group of upto 18 people. There are good sitting areas outside which people can enjoy in Kandy's lovely weather. Would heartily recommend this place especially for large groups. Special thanks for Max for attending to our every need and query.

Lovely place for vacation closer to town and a great place for family get away.

The view from this house is priceless. We could have spent hours starring at the view. If we walk a short distance downhill, we can see the Gregory Lake. There are grocery shop at the beginning of the road. Nonetheless, this place was very peaceful as well as beautiful. We had a great stay in Nuwara Eliya.

My colleagues who stayed there felt it was a bit remote. Unfortunately they had to cut short the journey to no fault of Gayan.

Shehan's place was perfect for our stay, great apartment and location and Shehan was really nice and helpful, would highly recommend

This property is a beautiful home with four large bedrooms and bathrooms and very comfortable common areas. The property manager is incredibly helpful, friendly, generous, and accommodating and he is a wonderful chef. He made us a delicious platter of grilled vegetables and roti in response to our request for a light dinner. For breakfast he made more roti, crepes, toast, omelette, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. All of it was amazing. The house is up a steep hill, but well worth the climb!

One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve been to. Located in a peaceful surrounding and feels completely private. Gayani was already reaching out before our check in dates to ensure everything’s smooth. Roman & the chef were the highlight! They cooked us a feast and all of us enjoyed the delicious dinner. A must try! The house itself is huge and has an antique touch. Feels right at home. Great place to spend time with family. Wouldn’t think twice to book this place again on our next visit. Loved it.

My family and I planned to stay in Kandy for a couple of nights but we enjoyed it so much that we extended our booking. The house is very spacious and peaceful with a beautiful view of the river. You are not disturbed by the traffic noise of Kandy. I would not recommend it for children under the age of 5 due to the high balconies. There is an office with fibre internet where I was able to work remotely. The staff were very helpful and looked after us well. Ravana is a great host who went out of our way to make us feel welcome. He also took the time to recommend places that avoided the crowds. He was quick to answer any of our needs. On several occasions we walked into town - about 30minutes on foot. If you are not comfortable negotiating traffic I wouldn’t recommend this but it is easy to catch a Tuk instead. The house has an impressive driveway which kept us fit! Overall I would highly recommend staying here.

Absoutely loved the house, the location was perfect. 2 minute walk to Lake Gregory with great activities to do. Chandrakumar the housekeeper was super helpful and even had dinner prepared after our long journey on check in day. Would highly recommend.

- We stayed with my whole family, total of 7 adults and a child. As soon as we arrived, the staff was very welcoming and kind. The place is beautiful, decor of the house is well thought through and so nice! 😍 - We also booked a cooking class for dinner time and breakfast! There was a little misunderstanding about breakfast, because you can choose between a few options but the staff again went above and beyond to make sure we were happy (which we were anyway 🙂). - Cooking class was interesting, they explained everything thoroughly and food so delicious! We also booked a private bartender who made cocktails while we enjoyed the cooking class, which was very good as well and between the group, great value for money! - swimming pool is nice and refreshing, and view from the top floor terrace is stunning! - overall I would highly recommend this place - it’s perfect for a group but it’s really the staff that makes it extra great!

Wunderschöne, riesige Villa mit fantastischen Blick und tollen Gastgebern. Auf individuelle Wünsche, z.B. beim Essen wird eingegangen. Die Anfahrt ist sehr abenteuerlich, da die Straßenverhältnisse zur Villa schwierig sind. Die Lage ist sehr abgelegen, dafür aber auch dementsprechend mitten in der Natur, mit Affen im Garten und Blick über den See.

Sujith is a great host, our family of 15 enjoyed the stay, and definitely recommending others who wishes to visit kandy to rent his place. The place is clean, privacy, secured environment and breathtaking view. They are helpers also at your disposal for basic needs or assistance.

The Weir House was an amazing property we stayed a night at on the way from Hatton to Kandy. Avanti was great in organising our stay last minute. We were looked after extremely well by Lucien, Leslie and the rest of the staff. We had the property to ourselves which meant private use of the expansive lounge and dining rooms, and serene pool area. We were also given the option to chose amongst the well appointed bedrooms. Given the relatively remote location, meals are served by Leslie and his team. It was some of the best food we've had during our stay in Sri Lanka and a highlight of the stay. We would definitely recommend The Weir House to others for a relaxing, authentic rural escape. Thanks Avanti for sharing your beautiful house with us! Michelle and Michael.

Great place to stay, great views, quiet setting, house is huge and bedrooms even bigger. Food prepared by Raja, Darshan and Rani was such a luxury and very good. I highly recommend Soshana’s home, our family of 13 all really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Soshana.

I can't say enough good things about our stay! The view from every room in the house, the overall cleanliness, the meals cooked for us... but most of all the hospitality and care provided by the hosts. First time in Sri Lanka and they made an amazing first impression! If I had more time in Sri Lanka I would have definitely extended my stay! Can't wait to come back!!

We had a wonderful stay at Pubudu 's place . Our caretaker - Bala made every effort to provide us a comfortable and relaxing stay. He is well aware about his boundaries and knows when we need our privacy and his assistance. The accommodation is located in a hilltop with a great view . If you wish to stay there, take everything with you since the nearest township is located at the downhills.

It is really amazing relaxing place far from noisy road. The room with full-length windows is amazing! View of the jungle and rice field. Also the room was clean and all we need was there. Pool is nice! The host Sakula is very attentive and caring! You can contact him with any questions. He is also interesting person to talk with. His family and staff are very kind too! So we felt like home! I would like to recommend Sakula’s place everybody!

Aura Residence war für 6 Nächte unser zu Hause. Mit Ausblick auf Sri Lankas längsten Fluss haben wir eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser grosszügigen und hellen Villa verbracht. Der Pool war sehr sauber und der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse fantastisch. Selbstverpflegung war ebenfalls möglich. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr herzlich und grosszügig zu uns. Sie halfen uns auch eine tolle Geburtstagsparty zu organisieren und feierten mit uns mit. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Besten Dank Rashi und Aura-Team für alles! Mögen wir uns wiedersehen.

Sandalwood is a beautiful villa with a stunning view. The house and the interiors are modern and tasteful. The infinity pool overlooking the river and the mountains is superb. The staff is very gentle and proactive. Leslie prepare fresh breakfast and cook excellent dinner. Kumara is taking care about the house as if it was her property and perform perfect laundry service. Very interesting the Victoria golf club’s history and how this beautiful project run by big Sri Lankan’s company help the local community.

Villa Kandy is awesome! Very modern, chic and clean. We were greeted by Dilan and his team you had laid on an amazing dinner for us. The villa is also a great place to chill and the pool was great! High recommend this place.
