Welcome to Ekåsen, a rural place 28 km southwest of Jönköping. In the house of 80 sqm there are 6 sleeping places. 2 beds in the bedroom, 2 beds and sofa bed in the living room. Cot is available to borrow. The house has a laundry room with washer and dryer as well as good storage areas. Please note that sheets/towels are not included but can be rented at a cost of 100kr/person. You clean and leave the house in the condition it was in when you arrived. With nature around the corner you can relax in this peaceful accommodation and cool off in the summer heat in the nearby pond with a jetty and sauna about 100 meters from the accommodation. The cottage is completely newly renovated with a fireplace downstairs, there is a dining table, kitchen, toilet and a sofa bed as well as exit to a large patio. Spiral staircase to get to the upper floor where 4 beds are located, wardrobes as well as a small desk and a couple of armchairs.

Fina skogsområden med promenadstråk och vandringsleder för svamp- och bärplockning. Stor chans att få se mycket vilt som rådjur, älg, räv och även Havsörn. 500 meter promenadstig till ångbåtshamn, badplats och fiske.

South of us is Omberg, which is also one of Östergötland's most visited excursion destinations. The bird lake Tåkern is located east of the farm. There's plenty to see and experience.
