Our small ,fine holiday apartment is located on the upper floor of our residential building. The holiday apartment can be reached via a separate entrance. As seen in the photos, there is a large room from which a small kitchen has been separated. Kitchen has a ceramic hob, kettle and filter coffee machine , as well as usual dishes. In the living/sleeping area there is a nice bed (2x2) as well as a few small cupboards. There is also a beautiful shower room.

A view from a spacious window reveals the bustling harbor, featuring cranes and ships in the distance. Two glasses of orange juice rest on a granite surface, complemented by magazines and cushions on a wide windowsill, inviting relaxation and observation of the lively port activity.

The coast of the island shows itself as a rough cliff or with beautiful wide sandy beaches. Restaurant/shopping 3 min. walk away ... :))

We had a lovely few days in Karen's cozy cottage. It is wonderfully quiet there and you have a fantastic view of the lake, which also invites you to take walks. It was very clean and everything as described in advance.

Idyllic half-timbered vacation home right on the lake

Wonderful small apartment in a brick house that leaves nothing to be desired! The amenities are extraordinary (e.g. we would not have to hope to enjoy a dishwasher or a bathtub) and the caretaker more than friendly! He not only gave us a bottle of sparkling wine on behalf of the host but also two self-picked pears from his own garden, explained everything you should know superbly and ensured a smooth check-in and check-out. :-) The garden is huge and even has its own little jetty, which, like the entire access to the lake, is fenced off, so that you can arrive carefree even with children. However, we were traveling with three couples and the apartment was not quite ideal for that, as one of the three bedrooms was a walk-through room and another with the living room. For families with two children, the layout is, I think, ideal, only from five or six people it gets a little tight for a longer stay. For a weekend, however, we were also able to arrange very well. All in all, thank you for the great accommodation and the nice welcome! We will be happy to come back!

What can I say… The Gutshaus Kobrow is a wonderful place. Without frills and clutter, with skillfully selected furniture and objects that sometimes authentically, sometimes with a wink refer to the long, eventful history. The perfect reproduction of a bygone era is not attempted here. The breadth and complexity of the last 130 years speaks from the rooms, the walls, the floors…. Because you let them, in the best sense. And so the house welcomes the guest and makes them feel safe and in good hands. The rooms soothe and touch and you realize you can be there, with everything you bring with you 😊 Thank you, Philipp, for sharing this with others. I felt wonderfully comfortable, and hope to be able to come back one day!

We stayed with Leo & Marcel for three nights at the Gutshaus Thurow: As every year, we were welcomed personally and very kindly by Marcel ❣ Our accommodation "Cecilie" was beautiful, I fall in love every year with one of the beautiful apartments 😘 The rooms were very tastefully decorated (giant clam in the bathroom) and equipped with contemporary antiques 🌹 My husband and I were 🌿 able to enjoy a lot of peace and relaxation in the adjoining garden area (with a good glass of wine). We come here every year in May for three days and can gladly recommend this "fairy tale castle🏰" to anyone who, like us, can enjoy the beautiful ambience and the two amiable hosts Leo & Marcel ⚘

Holger and his family were super hospitable and we felt very welcome. There is plenty to discover on the grounds for children. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds very comfortable.

A spacious living area features a light-colored sectional sofa and a round coffee table on a soft rug. Two windows allow natural light to fill the room, with decorative curtains framing the views of the historic buildings outside.
