当コテージは清流、円原川のほとりにあります。岐阜といえば白川郷や飛騨高山が有名ですが、円原も山奥で不便な場所ではありますが素敵です。山と川の景観が美しく、猿や鹿が出没するような自然豊かな場所です。円原川は日本一美しい伏流水、光芒の名所として注目されており、宿は伏流水の湧き水ポイントから８００ｍ程の場所に位置していますので水の透明度は抜群です。光芒も宿から見ることが出来ます。夏の朝、気象条件により木々の間から太陽の光が降り注ぐ幻想的な景色を見られます。円原川の水は冷たいですが、夏に子供たちは元気に川遊びしています。河原は気温が随分下がるので、猛暑を逃れ涼む人も。少し下流にいくと川遊びスポットがいくつかあり、どこも水が透き通っていて美しく泳ぐのが気持ち良いです。川の水は少し深いところではエメラルドグリーンに輝き、岩と苔の景観も素晴らしく、心が浄化されるような癒しスポットです。宿の2階に川に面したデッキがあるので、川を眺めながらBBQしたり、川のせせらぎを聴きながらハンモックに揺られたり、テントサウナでリフレッシュしたり日常を忘れてのんびりできます。

YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.

"Moegi" is the name of a traditional Japanese color. It was named to wish for a "good start'' and "child's growth.'' There is a playroom of approximately 32 m² for children. Don't worry if you can't go sightseeing due to rain. There are also many sightseeing spots in the area, making it an ideal base for sightseeing.

築約100年の古民家です。立派な梁や柱、土間があり昔なつかしの日本を体感していただけます。車で5分の所にスーパーのマックスバリュがあります。車で3分の所にコンビニがあります。ダブルベッドが2台あり、敷布団 4組用意出来ます。洗濯機（屋外）あります。ホストは「古木のある家」から約200mの所に住んでいます。レンタル電動アシスト自転車で田園風景、里山、鳥のさえずり、川のせせらぎ、地元の人々が守ってきた歴史ある小さな神社やお寺の周遊がお勧めです。日本土木遺産のメガネ橋、ねじり橋日本山岳遺産の竜ヶ岳花の百名山の1つ藤原岳天然記念物の川魚「ネコギギ」を飼育する藤原文化センターメールにて滞在目的をお伝え下さいますと、他にも沢山ある地元の情報をお伝え出来ます。 1933年生まれの義父の両親が建てた家です。宿を始める前は8年間空き家でした。皆様が宿泊してくださるお陰で少しずつ少しずつ修繕することが出来ています。日本の美しい技術と文化である古民家を未来に残したい、1人でも多くの方に触れて頂きたい。そんな思いでしております。
