100年前の歴史的建造物が建ち並ぶ北九州市門司港エリアに建つ家です。 JR九州鹿児島本線の終着駅「門司港」駅から徒歩8分、明治大正期の官庁街としてにぎわい、接待用の料亭が10軒以上を連ねた清滝。ここまで来ると関門海峡を行き交う船が鳴らす豪快な汽笛もかすかに聞こえる程度の静かな暮らしができる場所に位置します。この趣きのある家は、昭和20年代は旅館として営業されていたそうで、それを前オーナーが改修しながら現在まで大切に使われてきました。前オーナーは元陶芸家ということもあり、建物のあちこちに陶芸作品が残っており、当時の装いを感じさせます。ダイニングとリビングは別々に設けられているゆったりとしたつくり。畳の間の横には、一枚板のテーブルがあります。周辺には、徒歩圏内で、個人経営の人気のカフェや飲食店が多数あり、気分転換がてら周辺を散策してみることもおすすめです。外食に疲れたら、徒歩圏内の大型スーパーへの買い出しもおすすめ。備え付けのキッチンは広く綺麗で使いやすく、本格的な調理も可能なので、買い物が楽しくなること請け合いです。

We renovated this house in 2016. The new furniture and the old one are mixed in this house. All the places related to water such as kitchen, bath and toilet are new.
