I was able to experience a sense of nature that I can't get in urban areas, and there were many enjoyable elements such as barbecue and sauna.

I stayed last year and loved it, so I used it again this time!👌 There were some upgrades since the last time, and the hospitality made me like Ibaraki more, so I'm glad I stayed again.🍀👌 Also, the host was very kind, caring about the weather, etc., and I thought I'd like to stay again when I visit Ibaraki😆👌

We had a wonderful stay. The beds and bedding were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the location was close to the subway making it easy to get around. We loved the neighbourhood, it was quiet and felt very local, not touristy. The big plus was that some of our favourite restaurants were here. Lastly communication was perfect

This Airbnb exceeded expectations, my 3yo and 1yo had so much fun here. The toys were such a good touch and everything was clean! So many little things like a baby camera and kid plates saved our trip! Great way to start our Japan vacation, I will be recommend this place to everyone and we will def be back. Thanks Koji! 🤍🤍

1F/66㎡/Near JR & Keisei Koiwa/12min walk/Disney

ThitiwatRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Spotless clean and perfect for a base for tokyo trip. A little bit out of town but the price is unbeatable. Could a bit of walk to the train station, we had no problem walking with a baby stroller. Alternatively could get a taxi to the station for only 700-1000 yen. A cheap supermarket nearby and a good kitchen means you will never run out of good meals. Futon beds are perfect for pre school kids. The beds on the second bedroom are somewhat dated comparing to the main bedroom. The curtain of the main bedroom is not very thick so you will get a lot of light from morning. Did not bother us but be aware to sleep in the second bedtime if you are sensitive to light on your sleep, it can be fully dark. The host is very nice, they live upstairs and can response to questions quickly and always willing to help. Would definitely stay here again of we come back to tokyo.

30 mins from Narita AP/Old folk houses in Japan

Rating, 5 stars1 week ago
We used it as two adults and a dog. The fixtures and furnishings were great, and the facilities, appliances, linens, and room wear were pleasant, and we had a very comfortable relaxation. Also, the pet equipment was much better than what you told us in advance, and the dog enjoyed the dog run and the house. I was quick to answer these questions, and the large building and garden were kept clean and impeccable.

[Traditional Japanese house] Spacious detached house with a garden | Experience Japanese life | Accommodates up to 8 people

Zarith SofiaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful traditional Japanese house in Adachi-ku, Tokyo. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly prepared for us. The owner came to greet us personally; she is such a lovely and kind lady, and her warm welcome made us feel right at home. The house itself is charming and well-equipped with everything we needed. They provided helpful information, including maps and recommendations for shopping and local spots, which we really appreciated. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, and it truly showed how much care was put into making guests feel comfortable. The owner and caretaker were both very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We’re grateful for their hospitality and would love to stay here again in the future.

Machi-no-Yado Toshogu-mae 2F: Near the station, spacious 28 ㎡, twin bed, kitchen

AliciaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Quite a spacious and comfortable place. Conveniently located near Mito station (5-10mins walk) in a street filled with restaurants/izakayas. There may be some noise since it’s near izakayas, but closer to midnight it becomes quiet and earplugs are also provided.

Shine house

GregorioRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
If you are visiting Tokyo and don’t want to be in the expensive touristy area, but want access to it, this place is outstanding! It consists of 1 queen and 2 twin beds. It is perfect for 3-4 people. You could fit a 5th person on the black sofa next to the table (See his photo) but it isn’t ideal as the sofa isn’t deep. Maybe a thin person or kid. The living area is spacious and open with the kitchen. The kitchen contains everything for food prep but full disclosure we didn’t use it. The location is ideal for eating out. The place is clean. Kusuki leaves instructions on everything you need to know, and is very responsive to questions. Entry and locking the door when leaving is via key code. However, if you have mobility issues, this place is not for you as it’s on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. The location is perfect as it’s so close, maybe a 5 minute walk to the train station, and loads of eateries all around. Overall we had great time! Highly recommended! Thank you, Kasuki!

Super nice stay and the neighbourhood is really quiet and nice, and there was a lot of food surrounding that area, laundry can be done just downstairs as well. For walkable distance we are able to find donki, daiso as well as other food places. Definitely a recommended stay! Especially it you’re interested in a non-city area and yet still able to travel to the city.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk to the train station, making it easy to explore the area. The host was very responsive, quickly answering any questions and ensuring a smooth check-in process. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches—supplies provided went beyond the basics, making the stay even more comfortable. Plus, having a convenience store within walking distance was a huge plus for grabbing essentials. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a hassle-free and well-located stay!

187㎡ for Family near Skytree, AsakusaUeno, Airport

GaryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I recently stayed at this apartment in Tokyo and overall had a good experience. The accommodation was nice — very clean and well-equipped, with everything we needed for our stay. It was also close to Aoto station which made it easy to get to the cities attractions. However, a few things could be improved. There were an overwhelming number of rules posted throughout the apartment in large capital letters, making it hard to relax. One rule warned that if there was “too much noise,” a $1,000 USD fine could apply, which felt a bit intimidating. The curtains were a bit short, letting in a lot of light early in the morning. One room only had paper over the windows, making it impossible to block the light out. Additionally, after our stay, the hosts repeatedly messaged us through Airbnb asking for a review, which felt like badgering and left a negative impression. Overall, the apartment was clean and in a great location, but a few changes would make the experience much more enjoyable.
