My friends and I (3 women total) had a wonderful stay at Junko’s 3-bed listing. It was cozy but we still had room for our 3 full-size suitcases in the main room, and we slept comfortably each on our own twin mattress in the tatami room at night. The JR station and Mita line are both less than 10 min walk through the neighborhood and those lines linked us easily to the rest of the city. There are also some tasty places to eat near the stations. The konbini on the corner was very convenient for late night snacks and drinks. The in unit washer/dryer was so nice to have and Junko-san sent video instructions for using it. She also sent video instructions for how to enter the building, but we communicated via Line upon arrival and she met us at the building to help us check in. We also really appreciated her recommendations for nearby sento (public bath), unfortunately we ended up so busy we didn’t have a chance to visit them. The neighborhood is peaceful and lovely!

I highly recommend staying here! The appartment feels private and has character, and the neighbourhood is calm and quiet with a short 15 minutes walk to the lovely bar and restaurant streets of Akabane. I really enjoyed the sento, I went to Suehiro and Hot Land and both were very welcoming. This was a very special start to my Japan trip. Thanks again for having me ☄️✨🏡☄️

Good place, walking distance of the station, clean and friendly staff!

We stayed here with our child and had a very comfortable experience. Considering the price, the value for money was excellent. The area is convenient, with supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants all within walking distance. Kentaro, the host, was kind and welcoming—we really felt the spirit of Japanese hospitality. Thank you for the wonderful stay, Kentaro!

I had a great time! The host was helping and responsive and the place was clean and tidy! The tatami room added a nice touch and made it feel like an authentic experience. As a tourist from out of the country, there were some things to get use to but the host leaves clear instructions on how things work. Amazing stay!

Good location and nice host.

Convenient location, next to subway station about 30-40 mins to Tokyo. You can hear the subway inside the house, but it didn't bother us. Subway stopped between 12 - 5 am. Police substation directly across the street. Steps into the house and upstairs bedrooms are kind of steep, don't bring oversized luggage. Beds were comfortable, 3 toilets were nice (but only one bathroom sink) and washer/dryer did a good job for a combo unit, keep in mind drying takes longer than a solo conventional dryer. Overall, we liked it.

We had a great stay here and appreciated what a responsive, helpful host Kengo was. It helped to know beforehand that the listing involves two separate units, but it was easier to navigate than we thought it might be. Great place for families; the playground across the street was awesome to have + Asukayama Park nearby is a must-visit with kids. Loved being so close to groceries, a drug store, and Oji Station.

Nice and clean place, far away enough from Akabane station to avoid the noise but close enough to reach it within a few minutes by walking. The room was very clean and had every service I needed for my stay (over a month). The host replied quickly to my messages and was always very cordial.

Manabu was extremely accommodating even though it was very late. We had a great time staying at Manabu’s place which was close to many stores. Thanks again!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Japan! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the train station, making it super convenient for getting around, and there was a grocery store nearby for any essentials. The home itself was spotless and well-maintained, with all the common kitchen amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was also responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and well-equipped place to stay!

I booked this apartment at the last minute due to a disruption at my previous accommodation. Even by Japanese standards, it is incredibly clean, and it is almost double the size of the average small Japanese Airbnb. My favourite thing about it is how well it is stocked/furnished - it has cutlery, cooking utensils, pots, pans, a washing machine, stain remover, etc. Whoever cleans and re-stocks the apartment is really good at their job! Also, even though I kept extending my stay at the last minute, they were very accommodating. Unfortunately I had to leave some bigger pieces of rubbish in the room, and they waived the cleaning fee. The only downside is it takes about 50min to get into Shinjuku/Shibuya area.

I booked two side-by-side units and both met my expectations. Unfortunately, the wifi in one of the units had stopped working a few days into our stay. I failed to mention this to the host as we were quite busy and out of the house often, however I have strong faith that if I had let them know then the problem would have been resolved promptly. Other than that, the space was perfect for us and there were no other issues.

Clean and affordable place with great value. Location is kinda difficult to access - you'll need extra travel time. Overall worth it for the price!

We was welcomed with instruction how to get to location from airport. Room was very nice and clean. Host even prepared guide with restaurants close to apartment.

Mr. Mohinder provide us with the best living experience in Nikko. It’s not far from the Shimo-Imaichi station and with the great weather, it was great to go for a walk! The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with everything we needed, from shampoo to plates! Mr. Mohinder is also a great communicator and replies fast, which allowed for a smooth booking. I definitely recommend this place and would like to visit again! Thank you Mr. Mohinder!

The apartment was very comfortable and beautiful. Emiko was very responsive and gave useful advice. The washing machine inside the apartment is a big plus. Everything dried very quickly. We were a family of five, cooked food and ate together. It was very cozy. There is a large mall near the apartment where you can buy everything including fruits and vegetables. Overall, we would be happy to come to this apartment again.

We were hosted very well. The accommodation is well located, less than a ten minute walk to Tsukuba Express station. The place was clean, well equipped and large enough for three independent people. Recommended!

Our stay was very pleasant. We were able to leave our suitcases in advance by quick arrangement. The area is very quiet and well connected. Areas like Shibuya are associated with longer trips, which was fine with us. The house is relatively clairaudient, which was no problem. The apartment is very good in itself, but I would not take a child under ~6 years with me as the stairs up are very steep. We would come back. 🙂

The place was super clean and very quiet at night, perfect for a comfy rest. It’s right in the heart of Tokyo, close to all the spots we wanted to visit. The host was quick to reply and very helpful. I loved my stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend to everyone!
