Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Houten

We had a pleasure staying at this cozy, stylish family home. The house is beautifully decorated with vintage treasures and breathes peace with all the plants inside and outside. It was comfortable, and had everything needed for a perfect stay. The highlight for us was the garden and very comfy beds. And of course a special part of looking after Blanci the cat and the guinea pigs, this felt even more like at home. It was like a little oasis in a quiet and friendly neighborhood, yet we were still just a short walk to the train station or a quick drive to Utrecht. Shops and restaurants are nearly 5-7min walking distance. Houten is a lovely small town, we wished we had more time to explore it’s gems. Jeannette was always helpful and attentive. We are very grateful for this kind experience. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us - we’d happily come back again!

Biljana's place was great to stay at and great for families. The neighbourhood is quiet, serene and with at least 3 playgrounds in walking distance of the house, we had a lot to do for our toddler in the quietmoments in between trips. Parking is free and spaces are abundant. She provides lots of toys for little ones and provided a travel cot for our 2 year old that was not yet used to sleeping on a bed. The place is well kept, clean and a treat. The air conditioning was great for the hottest days. Access to the house is best in class. Would happily stay here again. We absolutely loved Bart's house! Even though I'm from Holland I had never stayed in this area before, so it was a great experience. Especially for foreigners it will be even more special.

A beautiful renovated house that feels the energy of love wherever you go. Modern, comfortable and warm. It is equipped with the best and finest equipment. It was a very comfortable stay for 10 days. Everything is available. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Fast internet and car parking. There are air conditioning units in the bedrooms and a charming garden. The owner of the house, Valérie, is nice and loves to provide assistance and is quick. The response when communicating with her I highly recommend living in their house

Wunderschöne, blitzsaubere Unterkunft. Super ruhig, stylisch und gemütlich. Nicht sehr zentral, aber alles wunderbar zu erreichen. Wir hatten ein wundervolles Wochenende in diesem schönen Haus. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert!

Leuke plek midden in Betuwe tussen fruitbomen en romantisch stadje Buren (wandelafstand 12 minuten) Leuke plek. Heerlijk bed. Leuk ingericht en dichtbij de koeien en natuur. Zo mooi nu. Alles aanwezig, goede wifi, geen tv. Spelletjes, lectuur en buiten terras en airco. Lekker gegeten in Buren , we hadden prachtig wandelweer . Leuke wandel en fietsroutes overal voor handen. Als welkom kregen we appelsap v nabijgelegen fruitbomen. Parkeren voor de deur. Arie en Hénrieta jullie hebben een mooie plek gecreëerd en we voelden ons zeer welkom.

Great spot, we used bicycles and Uber so not sure about public transportation access but I’m told the bus is close. Space is beautiful, well stocked with lots of amenities.

It's a special home, one-of-a-kind that offers beautiful design and comfort. We stayed a number of days with our dog after a hectic time and enjoyed resting in the beautiful and private environment. Very comfortable beds and living area. The town of Nijkerk is lovely with pedestrian areas, restaurants, and train station with 30 minute ride to Utrecht, where we went to explore.

We had a lovely stay at Anita’s place! It’s a beautifully clean, well-equipped, and private apartment, nestled in a quiet village setting close to nature—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The location is great for exploring both Amsterdam and Den Haag, each about a 40-minute drive away. Anita is a wonderful host—very responsive and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It’s worth noting that having a car is definitely helpful for getting around and exploring the area comfortably. Also, the apartment is accessed via a set of steep stairs, so it might not be ideal for those needing a barrier-free space. All in all, a charming stay in a tranquil location with everything we needed. We’d happily return!

J’ai passé un super séjour chez Renée ! Le logement était top, hyper confortable et décoré avec goût. Le lieu en lui-même est vraiment magnifique, très calme et apaisant — exactement ce qu’il me fallait pour déconnecter. Merci encore pour l’accueil, je reviendrai avec plaisir !

Wauw wat een heerlijke rustieke locatie. Alles was brandschoon, sfeervol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. De rust, groene omgeving en privacy hebben ons enorm goed gedaan. Het zwembad was een zaligheid en voelde als een ware welness beleving. Maarten was een zeer sympathieke host. We gaan zeker nog vaker terugkomen!

Loekie a été très réactive et amicale dans nos échanges. Merc! La maison est très bien située aux Pays-Bas, elle permet de visiter les villes les plus importantes. Elle se trouve dans un quartier très calme et familiale avec des commerces à côté, et avec des places de parking juste devant où on peut se garer gratuitement. Elle est très bien équipée et très moderne! N’hésitez pas à y aller!

The apartment was very spacious and more than we required. Definitely good value for such a lovely space.

We’ve now stayed in this beautiful, cozy little house for the second time – and it was just as lovely as the first. That’s exactly why we decided to come back. The house is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, located in a quiet area, and the perfect place to relax. Our dog really enjoyed the park right across the street – great for walks. Our little son also had a blast, both playing in the house and exploring the city. We had an amazing time and felt right at home. Thank you – we’ll definitely be back!

Een heel mooie huisje met van alle gemakken en luxe voorzien, het huisje was heel schoon en door Maaike voelden we ons erg welkom ! De borrelplank bij aankomst was geweldig en het enthousiasme waarmee Maaike alles uitlegde en tips die ze gaf over de omgeving maakte ons ook helemaal enthousiast! Kortom een top verblijf!

Die Unterkunft von Joyce und Stan ist wirklich toll. Die ruhige, private Lage am Wasser ist der Hammer! Durch das Hot-Tub und die Sauna kann man es sich dort auch bei regnerischem Wetter gutgehen lassen ! Jederzeit wieder !

De Kota van Jolanda en Falko is een heerlijk knus plekje en mooi ingericht. Doordat het van hout is, voelt het binnen heel natuurlijk en kom je lekker tot rust. De tuin is prachtig aangelegd met veel leuke hoekjes en moooe uitzichten. De zonsondergangen zijn fenomenaal! Je loopt zo de prachtige Zouweboezem in. Jolanda en Falko denken graag mee over mooie wandelingen en staan open voor een praatje. Voor koelkast en toilet moet je een klein stukje door de tuin lopen. Als je je daarop instelt is dat geen probleem. De wifi reikt op dit moment niet tot de Kota, maar er wordt nog over nagedacht om dit in de toekomst aan te passen. Het biedt overigens wel een kans om echt even uit te schakelen 😉. Al met al dus een fijne plek met vriendelijke mensen en een prachtige omgeving.

Het was een leuke accommodatie. Prachtig aan de linge. Heerlijke jaccuzzi, een feestje om zelf op te stoken met blokken hout. Heerlijke knusse privé plek. In de omgeving is het heelijk wandelen en fietsen. Schattig plaatsje op loopafstand met eetgelegenheden. Kiona stond altijd vriendelijk voor ons klaar. Helmaal prima.

We spent a few days at Rose’s chalet and had a truly lovely time. Rose was very kind and helpful, she always responded quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. At the same time she let us have our privacy. The chalet itself was really cozy and beautifully kept. Everything was clean and well-equipped, and we felt right at home from the start. The garden was especially beautiful — very green and peaceful, with the perfect spot for a campfire in the evening. All in all, we were very happy with our stay and can absolutely recommend it. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit hier! Die Hütte ist richtig gemütlich, es ist alles da, was man braucht, die Kommunikation mit dem Team war sehr angenehm und das Frühstück im Koffiehuis richtig lecker. Wir waren wegen einem Konzert in den Niederlanden und der Ziggo Dome war sehr gut erreichbar.
