Beachfront vacation rentals in Hout Bay

Mark and Alisa were amazing! They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We broke down a few minutes away and Mark was quick to aid us by fetching my family and luggage while I waited for the tow truck. I have to give a huge shout for this act of kindness. Thank you once again. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will be back God willing.

Our stay was absolutely lovely! The house offers a beautiful view of Hout bay Harbour and Beach. You can easily and safely walk down the street to the beach, to the main road. We stayed as a family with a 2 year old child and had a wonderful stay. The equipment in the house was sufficient. The location is quite windy but that is Cape Town and Hout bay. Carrie was a great host and offered all the help You need. Thanks again!

If you want to be right on the beach, hear the ocean, beautiful sunsets, swimming pool and a reasonable price, this is it. An elevator and onsite restaurant and shop with essentials would have made it even more exceptional, but you can have delivery services. Wonderful place!

My husband stayed for 3 nights. Rachael's place was the perfect location, close to restaurants and to where he was working. The place was just what he needed, so that he didn't have to sit in 3 hours of traffic to get to the job site and then another 3hrs to get home. Thank you, Rachael, for all the recommendations for coffee shops and restaurants. His stay was perfect in every way. From self-check in and out. No hassles with directions, and you kept good communication with both of us. Wonderful

We had the pleasure of staying at Rochelle and her husband’s beautiful house in Melkbosstrand for a work group getaway, and it was absolutely fantastic! Although we were only there for one night, we truly wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful—Rochelle and her husband met us at the house, explained everything we needed to know, and even let us check in early, which we really appreciated. The house was super clean and had everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was amazingly well-equipped, and the sea views were just breathtaking. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a getaway. We stayed at this lovely place for two weeks and felt at home immediately. Very spacious and cozy 2-bdr/2bath with spectacular views and sounds of the ocean just across the road from the beach. Very convenient underground parking; supermarkets, stores, restaurants either in walking distance (or easy 5min drive). Cape Town only 30min away. James and his family were the most wonderful hosts we've ever had, extremely friendly and helpful at all times. We'll definitely be back soon! Thank you so much for these unforgettable memories.

Stunning views all day long, felt right at home! We stayed there for 3 weeks and absolutely loved the house! Would definitely comeback. The pool/ outside area is even better than the pictures. Nice balcony with always a bit of shade, plenty of lounger chairs and great outside braai. The house is very spacious, has 3 proper rooms with views and 1 another back room that doesn’t have windows or a proper door but still has quite some light and 2 single beds. Appliances could have a refresh but the location, feeling of the house, stunning views and welcoming vibes/ flexibility of the host truly makes up for it! Thanks a lot!

Fantastic home for two small families to share. Easy to walk into Camps Bay with all the amenities, lovely comfortable home with pool, everything we could have wished for. Really appreciated the flexible checkout with a later flight. Highly recommend. Rob was the perfect host.

What a place! In the perfect location to visit all that Cape Town has to offer whilst, at the same time, being an amazing luxury beach front hide away! 6 stars from us if it was possible.

My family and I absolutely loved staying in TJ's pristine and quirky house. Everything was clean, comfortable and inviting. The beautiful beach is within walking distance and the greater Kommetjie area is worth exploring.

We had a fabulous week and a bit in Maureen's lovely Woodbridge Island home. The house is spacious yet homely and we were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The outdoor area is very pretty and secluded and we enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. Maureen is a warm and friendly host and always happy to help with any queries. We hope to visit again in the future!

Honestly loved everything !! Odette is helpful, kind and goes the extra mile!! Upon check in Odette was friendly, had a list of places to check out in the area and gave us a lovely tour. The place itself was better than the pictures. Honestly will book again the future ! Wish I didn’t have to leave, the place had everything ❤️

Waking up to ocean views every morning was an absolute dream! The apartment was bright, clean and just steps away from the beach. We loved relaxing on the balcony with coffee in the mornings and wine at sunset. The area felt safe and peaceful, with restaurants and shops nearby. Karen and Dolly were friendly and quick to respond to any questions. This was one of the most relaxing stays we’ve ever had. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind by the sea!

Kelly is the sweetest, and a very communicative host. The place has a great view of the ocean, felt safe, and is in walking distance of camps bay restaurants and the beaches - both camps bay and Clifton. We had AC in one of the bedrooms which was great. We really enjoyed our stay.
