Joaquín is an extraordinary host! I felt right at home and part of their family by constantly receiving their kindness and concern for us. He himself was our guide and took us on tours that filled us with culture, learning and amazing places! He told us a lot about his land, its history and everything we needed to know! His house has everything! A super comfortable and pleasant place in paradise! If you have the chance to stay with him, don't hesitate, I assure you that you won't regret it! He's a spectacular host, an amazing guide and an exceptional person! The day I return to the island, I will definitely look for it!

I was very happy with my stay at Hostal Pua Hau Mea. I was greeted by Julio at the airport and warmly welcomed by Sylvana at the property. The accommodation is as advertised and was kept in spotless condition. The location was good, easily walkable to restaurants and shops in the centre of town. I would recommend Pua Hau Mea for a no frills but comfortable stay.

Excellent implementation of the accommodation, hot water in the shower and stable WIFI with good connection. 100% recommended. All implementation of very good quality and with a lot of dedication, also in the same place you can see fruits and trees with the main fruits of the island, common kitchen space very well ordered and organized. Perfect location to know the village and the whole island, 1 block from the church and close to the main streets of Hanga Roa. Easy access, mobilization and connection to perfect places like main beaches PokoPoko and Playa Pea to see turtles. Attention of hosts very concerned at all times to give recommendations, answer questions and inquiries. Recommended.

Mareva was such a kind host. She greeted me at the airport and showed me around the property. The room was simple (no soap in bathroom) but perfect location in town and right across from the water. There is also a communal kitchen in case you want to cook. This is probably the most affordable accommodation on Easter Island! I would stay here again.

We had a great experience at Maria's house. His son Anibal, who welcomed us, was very friendly and always responded to our messages quickly for any questions. Just like Dani, everyone was very friendly and invited us to share a barbecue and a fish they caught. We really felt at home. The location is ideal for touring the island, because it is in a very quiet place but at the same time steps from the sea and also very close to the center so you can walk everywhere. They offered us a shuttle to and from the airport, but you can also walk if you have few things. We arrived at the house in less than 15 minutes. The place was very clean. They have a lot of recommendations for the island (at least in our experience it was much better to hire everything while there. I don't know if it will be the same in high season) I totally recommend staying here if you visit Rapa Nui!

I loved my time at Yonela's place. She was so sweet and lovely. She offered a ride to and from the airport and invited everyone to spend Christmas Eve chatting and sharing food. I honestly didn't want to leave. You're incredibly close to everything. You have Fritz across the street, mini markets within 5 mins walking and a bakery with great empanadas maybe 2 minutes away. And yet it was quiet. It was the perfect place to stay. I'm so thankful for Yonela's hospitality.
