Places to stay in Hakone, Ashigarashimo District

It was my first time using it, but the host explained things politely, and it was very easy to understand. Also, I didn't have to worry because the reply was very quick. I was really grateful for your flexibility in dealing with the unexpected situation of being late for check-in due to traffic. It was very helpful that they prepared amenities such as toothbrushes. As shown in the photos, it is in a great location with a good view of Mt. Fuji, and the inside and outside of the building are very clean and stylish, and I felt the owner's attention to detail. I wanted to use it again!

I stayed with my family (3+ people🐶) during the Golden Week holiday.They handled everything smoothly and politely from the time of booking, and I had a comfortable stay even though I had some questions. I added the sauna, BBQ, pizza oven, and fire pit as options, and they were all great!I recommend the sauna in particular.The sauna smells great with aroma oils, and it's great to take a break while looking at nature on the bench! At my house, you can BBQ as much as you want.My father was either grilling outside or sunbathing on the bench all the time lol The room was also fully equipped, and I had a session with the guitar I brought and the piano that was there!(The houses were spaced out, so I was able to play without worrying too much during the day *\(^o^)/*) From the morning, I could hear the babbling of the river and the chirping of birds, and it was the best detox from the hustle and bustle of the city. By the way, there are also a roadside station and a Create within walking distance, which was convenient when I forgot to buy something.The roadside station also sells desserts and they were delicious (I ate them at the pudding garden at dusk) I want you to use it again!

This is my second time staying at this Airbnb, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The place is consistently clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The bed is super comfortable, the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable (perfect for working remotely), and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a short or extended stay. What I appreciate most is the host's attention to detail and warm hospitality. Check-in was smooth, communication was prompt, and they went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. The location is also a huge plus it safe, quiet, and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and key attractions. It’s rare to find a place that offers this level of quality and service at such a great value. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed. It's an Airbnb that makes you feel at home. For me, the most impressive are many books, a guitar and unique north America decorations, it's like a journey of different culture, very interesting. The owner respond pretty fast and was very helpful too. A recommendable place. Thank you!

The Tinderbox just keeps getting better! Each time we stay, there are new improvements. Unlike many places that starts to show wear, the hosts keep making small changes and updates that improves the comfort of the home. New plush down blankets and a new washing machine/dryer combo, new shower head that delivers more water pressure… The hosts are very responsive and always available. They think of the smallest details to ensure a great experience. We look forward to our next holiday at this very comfortable home!
