The space
Travel back in time to the American Pioneer Era but with modern amenities!
The Knotty Pines Wagon is set up in a wooded area with a separate 10X20 gazebo, picnic table and chairs. The area is fully graveled and has plenty of parking available.

There is a gas grill, a charcoal grill, and a fire pit for your use. Wood from the surrounding area can be collected and used in the fire pit.

There are pots and pans available for the gas grill. We also have cast iron skillets and a Dutch oven to cook on the campfire.

There are dishes and silverware stored inside the wagon available to enhance your dining experience.

Inside the wagon you will find a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. We provide starter filters, coffee, tea, sugar and creamer.

A queen bed, a bunk bed (2 twin beds), we provide the linens.

A wagon-wheel table and 2 chairs, a Roku TV, and free Wi-Fi.

Heat & air-conditioning that you control

It has a full bathroom including a sink with vanity, a shower with hot water and flushing toilet, We provide towels, starter soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Guest access
The entire graveled area including the wagon and gazebo is exclusively for the use of guests renting the wagon. The rest of the 4-acre property can be hiked and explored with the exception of the cabin and fenced back yard. Those are for the cabin guests only.

We are an outgoing and dynamic couple from Maryland that loves to take cruises and travel the world. We love tropical locations like Cancun, Aruba, and Puerto Rico. The Greek Isles and Western Europe are other favorite destinations. After traveling to different parts of the World, we have realized that there is something special about enjoying some quiet outdoor living in our beautiful cabin in Arkansas and love to visit Mountain Home as much as we can! Larry is a former Marine and former member of the Air National Guard. He is a decorated senior Captain in a career fire department and has been a firefighter for over 30 years. Cassandra has been a public school music teacher for over 12 years. She is also a licensed Attorney in Maryland.
