BENT TREE has a spectacular view of the mountain valley and overlooks the scenic VT Rte 100. The chalet designed by a famous architect, gives you everything you want for a perfect getaway.

Featuring 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, with a tatami game room. 25 mins to Killington Ski Area, 20 mins to Mtn Meadows for XC Ski, and 45 mins to Sugarbush. Great for guests that want winter activities and nature views.

The space
A large deck is in front of the house, with an umbrella seating area and a gas grill. Decorated with string lights, perfect for BBQ or relaxing.

Entering the main floor, you will see a mudroom. Then the high-ceiling living room with a fireplace, the fully equipped kitchen, and the dining room with huge windows seeing through the porch. And the porch with a cozy seating corner and a breathtaking view. The porch is facing north, perfect for
stargazing and the Milky Way.

The master King bedroom is located upstairs, with a workplace and an extra monitor provided. The master Queen bedroom is located downstairs, with a split bathroom and a walk-in closet. Double twin room and bunk bed room are located downstairs as well, sharing a full-size bathroom.

There is also a tatami-style game room on the lower floor with a 60" TV and a mini refrigerator for beverages. Various kinds of board games are provided. Foosball Table and Air Hockey Table are located in the Basement room. You can enjoy the time with your friends and families.

Every single room has a window to the splendid view, where you are going to get up with the sunrise and sleep into the dream with fireflies. You can enjoy the view even while you are cooking in the kitchen.

Guest access
Entire chalet is yours. Please leave the locked cabinets and doors alone.

Parking is in front of the house, maximum 3 cars. We shared the parking area with our neighbor, so please be respectful to park only half of the space.

Other things to note
Despite we allow up to 9 adults, we recommend 6-8 adults for a better experience. Please notice the dining table can only comfortably sit 8 adults.

Please pay attention to the bed arrangement. The bunk room is pretty tiny. There are two single beds on the top and one single bed at the bottom.

There is no curtain or blind in the bedroom. All the windows are facing north, with the valley view, and will see the sunrise sometime. Please prepare yourself if you are sensitive to light while sleeping.

We do not have garbage services, for a stay of 3+ nights, we can arrange on-call trash service if requested.

Pre-approval is required for ALL PETS, even service animals. Crate required when left unattended, we have a large crate (36 x 24 x 27 inches) provided in the mud room.

*Be aware that cell phone service is not reliable in the area. Carry written directions or pre-load the app map before you leave the WiFi area.

*Please drive with care and caution in the community, speed should be 20 mph or lower. Pedestrians, pets, wildlife, and other hazards may exist.

*There will be a 0.8-mile unpaved road as you enter the community, with uneven surface and steep dirt area.

***All-wheel drive vehicles are required to navigate the roads in winter or rainy spring season, snow tires are highly recommended during snow storms.

Neighborhood highlights

We are located in Timber Hawk at Riverbend, at a side of the mountain. Timber Hawk is a very nice and friendly residential community. All the houses in the community were designed by architect Robert Williams.

White River is in walking distance, right by the bottom of the mountain. Feel free to walk around and enjoy the nature surrounding you.

5 mins away from the local cafe, providing bread and pizza by schedules, live music and farm market during some weekends. 10 mins away from local grocery store and gas station. 25 mins away from Killington Ski Area. 20 mins away from kayaking lakes. 30 mins away from Rutland or Woodstock, which have all kinds of markets and stores.
