The space
Light streams through this delightful cottage, the recently refurbished Arches Culburra, just a short stroll from the beach and from town. Smart but unpretentious. Two bedrooms (queen and double) and two baths, living, dining, kitchen, covered back deck and covered front veranda in the main house. Across the patio, the slightly more rustic Annex at Arches accommodates 2 more guests in a studio flat with an ensuite and a double bed — for a total of 6 guests on the property. Add in 2 smart TVs, unlimited FTTP wifi, patio, back yard with sun loungers. Art on the walls, books, games, bespoke touches, thoughtful design - interesting and fun for a weekend getaway, a week’s holiday, or a hub for a special occasion. Plenty of parking, outdoor shower, and room for gear, friends, kids, pets - the lot! You’ll enjoy the comfortable well-curated atmosphere and convenient location at Arches Culburra.

Guest access
Guests have access to the house, studio flat in the Annex, entire fenced yard, patio, deck, veranda, parking and outdoor spaces.

Other things to note
Behind the Annex is a lovely little grassy area with a flower and herb garden and sun loungers. Plenty of room for kids to explore safely and woofs to zoom. Pick the flowers and herbs, read a good book, snooze in the sun in privacy. Completely fenced. Please note: We welcome kids of all ages, but the only gear we supply for infants and toddlers is a high chair. Please BYO beach towels, dog beds, and any other gear you’ll need for infants and toddlers.

Neighborhood highlights

Culburra Beach is one of the few remaining unspoiled beach communities on Australia’s East Coast, located just a headland north of Jervis Bay. A holiday destination since the early 1900’s (it was here that Max Dupain's iconic photograph, "Sunbaker" was shot in the 1930’s), Culburra Beach miraculously escaped the over-love and over-development of many small East Coast towns. Framed by the Crookhaven River, Lake Wollumboola, Curleys Bay and the Tasman Sea, just one headland north of Jervis Bay, Culburra Beach has spoilt-for-choice street-end beaches, stunning water views — with lake, bay, and river access for boats, kayaks, and SUPs. Music and coffee in the Community Garden, delightful cafés, and a delicious relaxing vibe welcome you to Burradise.
