Family-friendly vacation rentals in Guzmán Abajo

We had a lovely stay at Lydia’s place! The condo was as described and our family enjoyed the space and location. We mostly enjoyed the pool and surrounding areas while we were in Loiza, and it was just what we needed for some r&r. Lydia was responsive and accommodating to a few minor issues we had- thank you so much Lydia for making our trip so special! For other travelers- we did not rent a car and used Uber to get to/from the resort and to the nearby grocery store. Took a little planning ahead but all in all was a great option for us and saved us a lot of $. I would recommend this rental! It was just what our family of six needed to relax and enjoy time together.

Wonderful stay in Oscar's condo. The views from the balcony were great as was the sand beach just steps away. The beach never had more than 10 people on it which made it seem almost secluded even though it is a pretty large resort. The pool area was great, area restaurants were also equally as great. Very short drive to El Yunque which we spent a day at. Arrive early as road construction up the mountain drops down to one lane more than once and backs traffic up quite a bit as crowds increase. The condo itself was great. Large, spacious, plenty of room for two families to spread out. Highly recommend Oscar's place

We had a wonderful stay! Vanessa was especially helpful with getting us checked in and oriented to the condo/building. She also went really above and beyond to check in on us and make sure we had all we needed. Location is fantastic. Pool and beach never crowded. Short walk to the neighboring resort, if you want to use their amenities. Parking on site. Close to El Yunque. Short drive to San Juan, Luquillo, and Fajardo. Highly recommended!

Quiet neighborhood that felt safe. Jose’s home was really spacious and the patio was beautiful out back with great views of lush greenery. Places to walk out back. Sleeping was comfortable for the 10 of us that were there. What a great big TV room upstairs and when you open the shutters it was just beautiful. All in all we found the home very nice and relaxing and the location was convenient to San Juan. Some in our group made the trip to the city a couple of times. It rained off and on during our stay, as it often does in the rainforest, but even that looked beautiful under cover of the patio. The community pool is close by, and is nice and large, but I do have to say that it wasn’t that clean on the day we went. Jose was a very responsive and communicative host from time of booking till we left. We had some questions while we were there and he answered almost instantly every time. Thank you Jose for providing a good place for our family to have time together.

We had a great time at Lydia’s place. We had plenty of space, it was very clean, golf cart was great addition, and great views! The king bed was very comfortable. We would definitely come back !

We just got back from a week long stay with our family of 5 and had a wonderful time at Diana's place. The location is awesome and the views of the water from the unit were outstanding....just what our family needed. Diana was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the trip. The entire island of PR experienced a brief blackout during our stay and Diana went above and beyond to make us comfortable and accommodate our family above and beyond what other Airbnb hosts would typically do (we travel a lot and use Airbnb frequently). We have 3 young children ages 5 and under and they had a blast. We would not hesitate to recommend Diana and will keep her in mind for future stays beyond just this location. We will be returning!

We had two families stay at the Happy Yellow Beach House and we loved every minute! Accessing the beach was a short walk down a lovely path, the pool and hot tub were so much fun and the house was comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the basic essentials and we had plenty of towels. It was so convenient to be able to do laundry as well. We loved the bakery and new restaurant at the end of the street and went to the Luquillo Kiosks a few times - it was a great location - easy travel from San Juan! Manny was an excellent host and took care of all our needs, provided recommendations for restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Thank you for a wonderful visit and sharing your piece of PR heaven with us!

This place was a nice getaway. The neighborhood was safe & it was easy to access the apartment. The airport is literally 6 mins away & it’s not a far drive to other attractions. The roosters in the neighborhood will wake you up around 4 a.m. so I suggest having a white noise throughout the night. Overall a nice, comfortable place to stay with very responsive hosts. Something that is helpful to know is that the hot water is actually turned on by turning the knob to the middle, not all the way to the left where the “H” is. I messaged the host and they were able to help with that. There is a peculiar smell in the bathroom. Either the floor or the rug in the bathroom should be replaced possibly, but the apartment wasn’t bad at all. A nice place for the price you pay or for a short trip. Great hosts ! There were others in the apartments attached to the house, but no one was too loud.

Loved this place for me and the kids. The rooftop is very relaxing. You can definitely catch a sunrise from there. I was able to walk to the beach in the morning and use that time to meditate. I really appreciated everything this Airbnb provided for my family while staying the few days we did in Puerto Rico. The hosts were very welcoming even left us a very cute welcome package that my kids loved. Very private and has security 24/7. I would definitely stay at this place again.

Our family of seven, including three children and two grandparents had a great weeklong stay here. The first floor location, right next to the pool and playground were perfect for our group. The unit looks exactly like the pictures and had everything needed for a beach vacation - beach chairs, bag chairs, umbrella, sand toys, cooler, etc. We enjoyed the beach at the end of the complex and a couple of nearby beaches with calm water for the kids and older adults. The market right outside the condo at the main road had many of the essentials we needed and we were able to pick up everything else at the walmart about 20 minutes away. The location is perfect for those wanting to spend time at the rainforest, beach and old san juan. We had a great stay and would definitely book again.

Staying here was a dream! There's nothing like waking up to sound of the ocean waves and the views were amazing. I literally couldn't wait to wake up every morning. Great location as it's less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and the kioskos. Perfect for a family, especially the two-floor layout which gives you some privacy on the second floor. Loved the outdoor shower and bathroom - great for rinsing off after the beach or just having a place to easily cool off. Host is very clear about AC in only part of the house so just make sure you are aware, but there are plenty of fans for the upstairs area so it was not a problem. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

You get what you see! clean, quiet, I would go again. it's some house not a hotel. it's a great place to stay to get work done. felt like a home!

The place was good. We just had a minor problem finding where the condo was situated. It was a little confusing but finally found it. The gated community felt very safe and quiet. The condo is located in a local neighborhood which at first seemed a little sketchy but everyone was friendly. The location was a little further away which we anticipated so we rented a car. The condo had a lot of amenities for us to use. The beds were comfortable. The beach was literally connected to the property which was great.

The complex is wonderful with many pools & sports available. Great for those traveling with children. This unit is a 3rd floor walk up beach front;spiral staircase to upper level that has half bath, living area with tv and door to rooftop & large gas grill. AC throughout. The ‘lazy river’ was closed for refurbishing. It is a far walk from unit so not an issue. Pools open till 1am. The beach is secluded with shaded areas which is very nice. The unit does not have wash clothes or laundry detergent. Kitchen had basic seasoning & coffee filters. In the closet there is large cooler(no wheels), 2 folding chairs, mini golf clubs/balls, a float, beach ball, arm floats and basketball/volley balls. There was an air pump which is useful. There is a small convenience store outside the gates & Walmart 20 minutes away. The town bakery is a must visit, it is one of the few places close to eat during the week. Location is in middle between luquillo & pinones beaches. Recommend rental car.

This apartment was absolutely beautiful. It is in a small town named Loiza about 35 mins from the airport in San Juan. El Verde is a must for the local cuisine. For my bud enthusiasts Puerto Rico only allows us to but edibles and vape cartridges however I found the locals were helpful ifyou talk to the right one😉 most ppl go for the cities but I recommend you venture further out to the caves and the different coasts. It's not a cheap place but there is plenty of free fun if you're an adventure seeker.

Margaritas was WONDERFUL! simple, precise, clear. The home was so welcoming and actually felt like home and not someplace where you had to dance around on ice. The whole place was a vibe, off the beaten path but still within a shirt drive of TONS of things to do. Felt like more of an adventure setting, if I could give more than 5 stars I would

Mr.Tom was very welcoming. My flight was changed causing me to arrive hours early before check in was scheduled. I contacted Mr.Tom about this and asked him if it was possible to check in a couple hours early. He was very understanding and helpful and allowed me to check in at an early time. The views that you get outside the villas are actually breath taking and memorable. I will definitely make this my go to spot. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING MR.TOM!

Excelente estadía. El apartamento es justo lo que está publicado. Super cómodo y cuenta con todo para hacer de tu estadía una cómoda y placentera. Casa del Mar es bello, con unos alrededores impecables. El apartamento tiene vista al mar desde el balcón y llegas directo a la playa.

Absolutely loved my stay! My kiddos had a great time killing energy in the pool and in the river! Although, I do not recommend the river at night, the kids went down for a little bit for spooky story telling! It was so much fun! Even the neighbor was super friendly and we got to buy some of their homemade sorbet! Delicious! Loved the location, house, host, everythinggg 🥰 thank you so much ❤️

It’s our second time staying at Bri’s place. Once again our family enjoyed the gulf cart rides to the beach and amazing views. Just like last year, the villa was very clean and Communication with Bri is very easy as he responds quickly. Looking forward to return next year 😄
