Vacation rentals with breakfast in Gulf of Papagayo

Exactly as described. Great house and location for a low-key beach vacation. The house is located “just over the hill” from Playa Grande, and is on the much quieter Playa Ventanas where we’d often be the only people on the beach for hundreds of yards, even with the holiday week. Through the gate and down a short path and you are on the beach. House itself is clean and comfortable. Everything you need - well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels. A beach tent for shade was also available when we asked. Very different than the luxury rentals popping up all over PG, but great if you are looking for a laid back stay. Jorge was responsive with questions. Felt completely safe. Would return again!

The view of the ocean was breathtaking and the whole house including Infiniti pool were so inviting we didn’t want to leave the house. Nice breeze most days as well. Ricardo was great at helping us arrange outings, including transportation. A car could be helpful to get around but we had a great local company that was able to take us everywhere we needed to go at a reasonable rate. The rain forest was a doable trip and there are numerous beaches within 15 minutes ride of the house. Loved our stay! It was also amazing to have breakfast included & prepared every morning and affordable dinners prepared at night as well.

La casa es divina!! Habitaciones muy cómodas!! El cuarto con mesa de ping pong y futbolín lo máximo ! Los niños felices ! La pasamos excelente !!

I stayed at this beautiful house in the middle of the jungle of Pinilla for a night and I am so grateful for this experience. To be surrounded by this nature energy humbles you and gives you so much inner peace if you allow to surrender into it. The house is fully equipped and there is nothing to miss. I slept like a baby, enjoyed the big kitchen for prepping a wonderful meal and spent a lot time outside on the property and around. A highlight is a healing center right next to the property, where I was lucky to connect with a shaman and recieve some amazing indigenous vibes. Also very close you can walk up and enjoy an astonishing mountain view with the ocean at the horizon. The famous town tamarindo is very close so it’s easy to swap into civilization, if you need to. All in all I am absolutely grateful and I am looking forward to come back very soon! Much love, nawid. ❤️

My friends and I had an unforgettable experience staying at Casa Sal y Sol! It was our first time in Costa Rica, and we were looking for a place that was spacious, safe, and conveniently close to the beach—and this place truly had it all. The house is about 30 minutes outside of Tamarindo, and really was the perfect balance of a laid-back surfer town but also had charming restaurants and local spots. The house is very close to the beach, making it incredibly easy to run back if we forgot anything, and the beach itself was peaceful and uncrowded. Each room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. My guests and I slept great! One of the highlights of our stay was the housekeeper who came daily to tidy up and make the beds. She was incredibly friendly and also helped those of us wanting to practice our Spanish. We all agreed that this Airbnb was absolutely worth every penny. We’ll definitely be returning and recomend it to any family or friend group looking to enjoy Costa Rica!

We stayed here with three families with kids. Hacienda Pinilla itself felt safe, accessible, friendly, and easy to use as a home base for beach exploration. The house was incredibly beautiful and well set-up for a large group. Lovely home base to return to after a day of adventure.

The place was in the perfect location. Right by all the restaurants and bars and super close to the beach. My buddies from surf school ended up staying at the hotel right across the street so it couldn't have been more perfect for me. I had originally only plannes to stay two weeks and decided to stay an extra. William was a great host. Very response with the booking and while I was in town. He gave me great tips and recommendations for my trip and I also ended up doing private yoga classes through one of his friends.

El apartamento tiene todas las comodidades para pasar una estadía en Tamarindo. Está ubicado al lado del Restaurant Sofía que es una gran alternativa para ir. La ubicación sin dudas es muy conveniente ya que está a 100 metros caminando de Playa Tamarindo y muy cerca de Playa Langosta. La comunicación con los propietarios fue muy rápida y siempre estuvieron disponibles. Incluso para brindarnos algunos detalles extra para la casa. Recomendable tanto para una estadía corta o más larga. Gracias Hassan, Mehmet y Ned!

We had a perfect time here. The Hosts are super friendly, caring and communicative. There was at any time someone present for anykind of questions. Lieke organised a wonderful boattrip for us. Staff was very friendly and attentive too. Kids loved the pool and the beach. The mexican bungalow was more spacious than it appeared on the pictures. Food in the evening was just delicious (seafood soup, seafood pasta, sushi). We highly recommend staying here, especially for families!

Great host, family friendly place! Awesome food breakfast and dinner! Great value. The pool is awesome room was brand new. Awesome little dogs that are super friendly and great with kids. Very polite and nice staff. Will stay again and recommend! Thanks Jorge

Finca las Garzas is a beautiful place. Alejandro, María, Tina, and Bella were very friendly. All of the animals and dogs—Tootsie, Milo, Lulu, Lola, Doll, Astro, Tormenta, Pelucho, Igor and hundreds of others—all seemed very happy. We never met the host. The breakfast was amazing. Raw milk is illegal in New York, so to have access to it every day was a dream. I am sensitive to pasteurized dairy, but the raw milk and cheese did not upset my stomach at all. We loved walking the property. We picked the best mangos we’ve ever had off of the huge trees and walked around eating them. We walked through the forest and saw dozens of howler monkeys up in the trees. It was incredible. HOWEVER, the first night Igor the donkey was very loud and the roosters started at 3 am. The following 3 nights the roosters started at 3 am and 2 am! We tried ear plugs and white noise. It didn’t help. So we had to leave 3 days early for health reasons. Also not walkable to beach. Anyway, we are very grateful.

Great place, totally worth it, amazing pool view, very close to incredible beaches. Totally recommended.

Un lugar maravilloso con la atencion de primer nivel gente muy calida vistas maravillosas ya que el lugar esta en la cima de la playa se ve el mar por ambos lados simplemente maravilloso

Este apartamento tiene todas las comodidades para pasar unas vacaciones increíbles en familia en Costa Rica. Posada San Rafael está en el corazón de Las Catalinas pero en una casa lo suficientemente privada con atención de 5+ estrellas. Además ofrece diversidad de actividades, restaurantes, piscinas y playas privadas a solo unos pasos del apartamento. Lo que me encantó fue el increíble espacio con detalles funcionales en cada rincón y el diseño colonial de esta hermosa casa realmente te enamora. Para broche de oro nos encantó la excelente hospitalidad de Flor y su familia , que nos consintieron con desayunos todos los días, nos dejaron el apartamento limpio y listo para volver después de días preciosos en la playa!! 100% regresaré y lo recomiendo a ojos cerrados! Vale la pena !

Everything was great during our stay. The location is perfect, near the beach, supermarket and restaurants. The room has everything you will probably need, also the shared kitchen is well equiped. The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast was definitely the best part of our stay.

One night stay was perfect here. Karla and Alberto made sure we were taken care of and provided a delicious breakfast with a great spread of food. Nice pool and weight area available. The location is ideal walking distance to the beach. Would return again.

During our staying Costa Rica, we stayed at five different places. This was my absolute favorite! It was private, clean, very peaceful. Elmer and Kyna were available for anything we needed, or suggestions on things to do in the area. Avellanas was also one of my favorite beaches, beautiful waves, and perfect for surf! There was just the right amount to do in the town. Nothing too hectic, but choices of restaurants and places to shop within walking distance of our place. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, and recommend it to anyone!

We had the best time staying at Calypso. The host Nico was friendly and personable, and we felt right at home. It was the perfect location being in walking distance to everything in the area that you would want to see. It was clean and a beautifully unique property. We look forward to returning at some point in the future.

Dalia was so nice and gave us a warm welcome. We felt like family! There was another woman there that was also extremely nice. The breakfast was perfect! Great pitstop 20 minutes away from the airport. We ordered an uber to the airport and it was nice and easy. If we need a spot near the airport in the future we will definitely be back here! Wir haben in einem Container mit Blick in die Natur geschlafen, es war toll gemeinsam mit dem Dschungel aufzuwachen. Das Frühstück war lecker und auch das von der Gastgeberin gekochte Essen am Abend war gut, wenn auch etwas teurer.

Excelente atención y muy bonito lugar!
