Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Guimarães

Fabulous holiday in a beautiful villa in beautiful surroundings. Antonio was a very helpful host, recommending restaurants and supermarkets to us. Lots of space for a mixed family holiday of 7. Villa had all required amenities.

We were very comfortable and comfortable. The house is impressive de bonita, I leave us without words. Teresa is very good and kind person. Not to forget Boris, who is a love and very sweet. Thank you for everything!

Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

Duarte and his assistants were extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodation was clean and included many extra amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms that we were grateful for. The apartment was in an excellent central location. Having a parking space was also very helpful to us.

We've got everything we needed for 3 nights with a family with 2 children. The apartment has 3 bedrooms with a double bed each. A living room gives a lot of space for joined activities and a big dinner table. Wifi worked well. The view from the living room is wonderful and pays off for the 4th floor without an elevator. Clean, hot water, possibility to cook and to wash the clothes. José met us personally in front of the house and let into the apartment. It's nice and personal, but on the other hand, we were bound to a fixed check-in time (which was, btw, as late as 5 pm). The apartment is in a quiet residential area. If you have a car, there are usually parking lots somewhere on the street. For driving to the city center, count rather with 10 minutes, not 2. We visited in a season when neither heating nor air conditioning was needed. Not sure how the installed equipment would behave otherwise. Good choice for the money in any case. Obrigado, José!

Great apartment. A little hard to locate at first - but it is an apartment building and ones you get the direction from the host it's become easy. Apartment is clean and following street it's on will lead you right to the center plaza. On small complaint - cooler water in shower, may be needs to be readjusted...otherwise Great 3 bedroom, Elevator works, car parking underground, walk to the center = life is good :)!!!

The house is as it appears in the photos. It's very nice. It offers a setting in nature and with total tranquility to spend a few days of total rest and reading. It is also close to Braga and Guimaraes if you want to go on excursions. There is a restaurant very close by that you can walk to and eat well. Concensao is super friendly and very nice, always attentive if you need anything. Although she lives upstairs, it is a totally private space.
