Wir haben uns sofort in der Villa am Fluß wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal um die Attraktionen des Golden Circle zu besichtigen. Die Lage am Fluss und der Ausblick sind traumhaft, auf jeden zu empfehlen.

Our stay was truly magical. Magnús’s home is beautiful inside and out, and it's location in the Icelandic countryside is nothing short of stunning. We had to content with bad weather during our stay, and Magnús was extremely flexible in making sure we made it safely to the cabin, evening going so far as to allow us to delay our stay by a few days. A perfect getaway for my family. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Ein absoluter Traum in Hveragerði! Die Unterkunft war einfach perfekt – ruhig gelegen, aber dennoch zentral im charmanten Ort Hveragerði. Die Wohnung war makellos sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die gemütliche Atmosphäre – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause. Die Gastgeber*in war unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Check-in und Check-out verliefen reibungslos. Viele liebevolle Details zeigten, wie viel Herzblut hier hineingesteckt wurde. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Danke für diesen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt!

I cannot say enough good things about this house. Not only was the home beautiful clean and very warm, but Vera was such a wonderful and communicative host. We traveled with our two-year-old son and she had a crib highchair and literally everything you could think of set up for a toddler so if you have kids, this is absolutely the place to go. There's even a little treehouse with a slide in the back and at night we could sit in the wonderful hot tub and see the northern lights. I would happily stay here again!!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Nach unseren langen Tagen,war das der perfekte Ort um Ruhe zu finden. Jóna Dísa is ausgesprochen Freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Our first first Airbnb in Iceland! A great place to start off. Everything we needed plus a hot tub! :)

WOW! That is the best description of Geirthruder's place. Maybe even more perfect than the photos. A perfect location to easily check out the Golden Circle The layout of her house is great with the living area dividing the two bedroom areas. Easy entrance, over-the-top kitchen, cozy woodburning fireplace, presitine in every way.... and THE VIEW!!! And the quiet!!! We cooked a good bit, just for fun. There is an amazing food market just a few minutes away (which was a highlight of our stay), Little Farmers Market. Staying at Geirthrudur's is a must!!!

This place is great! Very cozy and close to the golden circle and Selfoss, which has great restaurants! We especially enjoyed the cozy vibe of the interior furniture and kitchen. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and cold plunge combo. Magnús was really responsive when we had questions, and even got on the phone to walk us through how to fill the hot tub and turn off the lights so we could better view the aurora!

Although we had to end our trip early, our time at Jon’s cabin was very enjoyable. Check in instructions were easy to follow and the location is convenient to Golden Circle attractions. The cabin itself is so cozy with the most comfortable beds and couch. We traveled with our 19 month old and found it to be an easy place for him to move about and for us to keep an eye on him (just be careful with stairs to the loft). We appreciated the baby amenities provided and the baby loved pointing out the cabin’s fun decor. The sauna and hot tub were the perfect way to end the day and easy to use with unmatched views. Overall, a lovely cabin and very responsive host.

Séjour parfait ! Localisation incroyable. Très calme avec une vue des plus magnifiques. Pas grand chose aux alentours mais en voiture ça se fait très vite. Merci !

this rental was so perfect it was hard to leave to go out and explore because we just wanted to be here! it was close to a lot of attractions, and not far from the airport. next time i would stay for longer because it was such a peaceful and beautiful place to just relax.

Really nice place to stay, tiny bit hard to find but we worked it out ! The map supplied was very useful ! Kitchen had everything we needed and the space was very comfy.

The house was perfect as a base for our Iceland adventures. Grimur was very responsive to questions prior to the visit and met us a short distance away to drive us to the property as it would have been hard to find otherwise. It was a beautiful house crafted by Grimur and his family with love and practically in mind. It was in a peaceful gated community amongst beautiful scenery. The sauna and geothermal hot tub was an amazing bonus. Really well stocked kitchen and general necessaties with lots of towels and even a bathrobe. The perfect location to explore further east, south, west and mid Iceland. We will more than likely be back to Iceland and would stay in this beautiful home again. Thank you x

We had a wonderful stay at Hjálmar’s cabin! It was cozy, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax after exploring Iceland. There were plenty of games and outdoor activities to keep our kids entertained throughout our stay. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared—we felt right at home!

Sígrun’s place was exactly what we were looking for! We had the best welcome ever being greeted by the northern lights. The house is well equipped with everything you need. From kitchen appliances to toiletries. And the hot tub outside, is an excellent place to relax. Location is perfect. Very nice and quiet and also close to all the main attractions of the golden circle. Our farewell was also memorable with northern lights dancing for us! Some places we’d like to recommend: Sky Lagoon, Thingvellir National park (20 min drive from the house, bring good shoes, can be very slippery). Tryggvaskali restaurant, Messinn restaurant, Silfra restaurant. And of course all the other attractions around the golden circle. Thank you, Sigrún, hope to be back soon!

Gemma nascosta! Cottage splendido in posizione bellissima, dotato di tutto il necessario. La vasca esterna con vista sulla vallata è una meraviglia! Host gentilissimo che ci ha accolto personalmente e molto disponibile a fornire informazioni sulla zona. Al centro del “Golden Circle”. Un ottimo ristorante nelle vicinanze (Hvönn) e numerosi maneggi. 2 ore da Landmannalaugar (imperdibile). Fidatevi, non esitate a prenotare. Senza dubbio il miglior alloggio in 3 settimane in Islanda!
