Entering Ana and Daniel's house was like returning to my grandparents' house. The house is super well maintained and it is clear that it is maintained with great taste. The village and the entire area surrounding the house is very quiet, almost no cars passing by and you can only hear the sound of the stream and the birds that pass by. It was a great pleasure to stay at your home.

Excellent location for those who want to escape the crowds and rest without looking at the clock! Very comfortable and well-equipped house. Super available host. Wonderful roads for cycling and many rivers, streams and reservoirs where you can take a dip.

We stayed in Casasimsim for 3 nights 2 adults and an infant. The host Marta was approachable, kind and gracious. Available for every question and really tried to make us feel like home. Casasimsim located in a beautiful small Village with amazing view. As Marta said there are no grocery store around -so we came prepared and the kitchen is highly equipped. Clean, comfortable and highly recommended.

It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

Eugene was an amazing host, having helped my family get to the accomodation without any problems and always being in touch whenever it was needed and the language barrier wasn't ever an issue as Eugene was able to understand portuguese. Unfortunately due to work I wasn't able to meet such a great human being that made sure to ask how I was to my family, but I can assure that if the opportunity presents itself I wouldn't hesitate to book again and meet him. From my family's description I could say the house is bigger than it looks on the photos, being a great space for some peace and quiet rural family vacations! I reccommend Eugene's listing as a great option if you are looking for a cheap, quiet and family-oriented house.

This place is a real gem! Everything was clean, beautiful and up to date. The views were absolutely stunning! Gois is also a beautiful small town with a pretty river and river beaches. A perfect place to rest during your vacation and see breathtaking scenery!

💯 recommended, 💯 value for money, clean, full-equip, 🅿️ free, comfort. I had never slept on such a large bed (for four people) with super comfy cushions and totally white bedding and towels. Also comfortable sofa bed and air conditioning and smart TV. If you are thinking of traveling to the Coimbra region it is the best place without a doubt.

We are a family of four and we stayed for one week. We found Carla extremely friendly, reliable and helpful. The communication was very easy. Even though the apartment is located in the middle of the Village (and surrounded by two ruins) it is very quiet. The view from the balcony is amazing and one overseas a vast range of forests. There was enough space and all rooms were nicely furnished and decorated. We could use the pool at any time. All in all, we can highly recommend the place and would come back at any time!

Andre's place is exactly what we were looking for... a rural destination in a tiny village... but close to amenities. The small community was charming! It was great to walk the streets, see smiling faces, and watch the residents tend their hillside garden plots! It was also nice to be a close drive to gas and groceries. Plus the location was perfect for our visits to the regions' mountain "Schist" villages. Very unique experience that met all expectations! Thank you!

A peaceful stay in a quaint and cozy place. Joana was prompt to come out and greet us exactly where the directions had indicated and to show us to the property. She showed us around and offered help with starting the fire. When I contacted her later, she was also very prompt, helpful, and informative. The casa and the village are very picturesque and peaceful. It brought us back to a time in the past when there was more time to reflect and just be. A lovely retreat.
