Beachfront vacation rentals in Galle

Chathura is a great person to work with, he is very knowledgeable about the surroundings, very friendly and go out of the way to help me. I highly recommend anyone to stay at his place. I stayed 5 days at his place, I was very comfortable in taking local buses to visit surrounding areas beaches. Beautiful beaches in this part of the world. I enjoyed visiting every beaches that I could visit. In short I have a pleasant stay at his place.

Hôte très respectueux et très flexible niveaux horaires, le dialogue est fluide et toujours attentif à la moindre gêne occasionnée (coupure de courant dû à un orage par exemple, entretien de la piscine tous les jours, etc…) Endroit chaleureux, paisible et à proximité des restaurants… Personnellement, ça ne nous a pas dérangé de marcher 10-15mn et tout le long il du chemin il y avait le choix du restaurant et on a pu trouver ce qu’on cherchait. Merci Chanaka pour ton accueil chaleureux et ton sourire… Tu as une good vibes qui nous a plu mes amis et moi…. Je recommande avec grand plaisir 🙏🏽😎🤙🏽

It was a pleasure to stay here. We had everything we needed. Nihal helped a lot: with transfers, sightseeing, food, house, etc. We didn't have any problems. He's a great host! I highly recommend it!

Wow wow, we had an incredible stay! The housekeeper Ari and his wife amita were so so kind, the oceanfront location was impeccable, we had an issue with the electric, but thanks to Rebecca’s quick and helpful service it was taken care of promptly and professionaly, I would highly recommend this property!

We are extremely happy to have found this amazing house. It was exactly what we were looking for to recharge at the end of a long road trip, close to the beach and with every comfort. The host was very welcoming and friendly and he also helped us to organise a surprise to two of our friends travelling with us that just married. The house was better that the description and very clean. We totally loved it. We also received a welcoming juice at the check-in. Beds are very comfortable, each room has air conditioning and ventilator. The living is very cozy and the kitchen has everything to cook. Totally recommended and when we’ll be back in Sri Lanka we will definitely come back to this house.

If you’re looking for a private beach with the ocean, this is the place for you! Far from popular tourist spots, you’ll find peace and tranquility here. There are several oceanfront restaurants nearby. The staff is attentive, and excellent breakfasts were included!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne woche am sauberen ruhigen strand. Sind jede nacht mit dem rauschen der wellen eingeschlafen. Das frühstück konnten wir uns auf nachfrage individuel zusammen stellen lassen. Uns wurde mit salz, pfeffer und öl zum kochen ausgeholfen. Sowie mit zusätzliches datenvolumen für das wlan. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Haben die zeit dort sehr genossen!!! Karo und thorge

True local experience! Dinner was awesome, and the view from the top deck was a delight, plenty of birds,squirrels and monkeys to watch. Excellent value for money. Please note that the location on the map is incorrect - the property is further up and took me about 7-8 minutes to walk to the beach. Own transport would be ideal in this location - I had difficulties with PickMe but kindly the host would source me a tuktuk from the village :)

Sahan’s beautiful airbnb is a little gem in Weligama. I would 100% recommend. He greeted us at check in and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The place itself and the pool especially are absolutely gorgeous! The perfect location for a little retreat. Thanks Sahan!

Lovely stay at the Blues for five of us attending a nearby wedding. Spacious grounds with colourful bird life, lizards and monkeys swinging from the trees. Lovely pool, could have spent the week lazing on the sunbeds. The two ladies at the house were always discreet, helpful and even prepared a lovely Sri Lankan curry on our late arrival due to the plane being diverted. They even cleaned the bbq for us. The house was clean, very spacious and steeped in Colonial history. As for Janaka, I can’t praise him enough. He went over and above to help and support every thing we did. He organised taxis, Tuk Tuks and even drove us into the neighbouring town for a bit of sightseeing and food and drinks purchasing on our first day. He spoke excellent English and would interpret for us if required. Lovely people, great property and a beautiful country. Will return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Catherine’s cottage. Location was good; walkable to the beach. It is hard to fully explain just how spacious the cottage is - every room is large and well thought out, even the outside veranda is enormous. The children loved the little pool, it was absolutely perfect to end our Sri Lankan adventure. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing 😍 One of the best rentals in my life. Ideal for a big family or 2-3 couples, and the price is more than reasonable. Definitely exceeded my expectations. The apartment allows you to dive into the world of luxury ✨ Sparkling clean and has everything you need. I wish Anuradha to be full booked the whole year, because this place is worth it 🔥🔥🔥

Wowww. Where do I even begin?! We were stunned by how much more beautiful this place was in person. It exceeded all our expectations!! The location can’t be beat. Corner unit, two floors, multiple balconies & floor-to-ceiling windows/doors to catch the beach & gorgeous sunset views from any angle! The bedrooms with attached bathrooms, common areas & divine master suite are so spacious and luxurious! I have to give *high praise* for how well maintained this unit is by Dodampe, his lovely caretaker Upul, and the cleaning staff. The place was sparkling clean - kitchen, curtains, sofas & other furniture/fixtures seemed almost brand new! Incredibly high standards for cleanliness, presentation & keeping unit in excellent working order with no issues. Our family of seniors, young adults, and children had lots of privacy for ourselves as well as generous common areas to spend together. Many thanks to Upul for his warmth, responsiveness, all his help & advice. He even brought a welcome gift!

We had the best time at the villa. The location was a 10, private garden and pool, right on the beachfront. We had access to cafés and restaurants close by. A special mention to the lovely staff at the property who looked after us so well. The chef was outstanding and the food he cooked was restaurant quality. Definitely recommend this property and we will surely be back soon.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa, located right on the serene and picturesque Talpe Beach. The calm, crystal-clear waters were perfect for calm bathing, and we were lucky enough to spot massive turtles every morning! We loved the option of cooking for ourselves, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. The vibrant markets in Galle, just a 15-minute drive away, offered an incredible variety of fresh seafood, fruits, and vegetables, which was a real treat. If you prefer, Anjalee, the lovely housekeeper, is also available to cook you breakfast. The villa was impeccably clean, and the communication with Jack was seamless and clear from start to finish. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I stayed for two weeks at this beachfront villa in Ambalangoda, and it was an incredible experience. The villa is spacious, with large rooms and plenty of space to relax. Having a parking area was a huge advantage, especially for my rented motorcycle. Denuka, the host, was extremely helpful and responsive. He quickly addressed my requests via WP and ensured a smooth stay. Another highlight was Denuka’s uncle, who spends most of the day near the swing in the front yard. He is incredibly kind and always ready to help whenever needed. Exploring the surroundings by motorcycle was a fantastic experience—I highly recommend it. Overall, this villa is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and scenic getaway. I would definitely stay here again!

Traumhafte und ruhige Unterkunft direkt am Strand. Ravith und alle anderen zu der Unterkunft gehörenden war sehr zuvorkommend. Man muss nicht alles annehmen, was einem angedreht wird und die Preise weichen manchmal von der ausliegenden Speisekarte ab, zwar nur um 100-200 LKR, trotzdem. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Кто-то говорит о том что шумная дорога , да , там дорога , но ребята , вы приехали сюда не дома сидеть , ноги в руки и исследовать , чтобы ночью вас уже ничего не разбудило ! Потрясающее место , локация и люди , благодарим вас !

We had a wonderful stay at this villa! The apartment was beautiful and very comfortable. The host was extremely kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The villa is surrounded by stunning nature, which made our stay even more peaceful and relaxing. We truly enjoyed every moment and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Jula and Suranga (whose house it is and who lives there with his lovely family) were super responsive and proactive in communication. The house is right across the street from the beach and just a few minutes' drive from nice places like Shanti Shanti or Wijaya Beach. Suranga and his family had prepared a welcome snack when we arrived and even invited us to a home-cooked Sri Lankan breakfast one morning. The apartment is on the top floor of Suranga's house and looks very much like in the pictures. Note that the stairs are a bit steep, but the place has a nice small kitchen and good rooms. Also, their neighbour Assanta was a super reliable Tuk Tuk driver while we stayed there.
