The Red Haus was excellent trip. Lots of nature around the place, space to play games. Plenty of privacy, and attractions around the place. The hosts were always responsive and clear with instructions. Great for a larger group size as there is enough beds around the house and common space. Property was as described.

Such a beautiful, peaceful and refreshing house. We like it so much. We even didn't want to go out and just want to spend the time to chat, to take rest and to read the books and to have a quiet time. Benita is very helpful and resourceful. She responded very fast and provided the information of the terrific restaurants nearby. We enjoy the house and the food if the restaurants so much. The house is so clean and new and beautiful. All amenities are more than good enough. I appreciate so much We will come back. Thank you so much, Benita.

This cottage was perfectly curated for a family/friend’s getaway! Their home was spacious, and well equipped from the kitchen to the fire outside. If you didn’t have a plan for the weekend, they have a detailed booklet on everything near by. I really appreciated them giving us the heads up on the northern lights, and providing 2 Bon Echo Park passes to the guests! The communication was fast, and the location was perfect. There’s nothing more I could even ask for.

We had a great stay. The place is very clean and comfortable. Very thoughtful notes, instructions and everything you can need was there. We wanted for nothing. Beautiful spacious grounds outside, with a nice hot tub we enjoyed and beautiful patio area. There was also an outdoor games area but it was a little rainy when we were there so we didn’t get a chance to play!

Beautiful Airbnb for a girls weekend away! Everything was very clean and the Airbnb was decorated very nicely. It was the perfect spot for my bachelorette weekend. The hosts were nice enough to leave us a bottle of wine and a handwritten note for our stay. The host checked in with us throughout the weekend to make sure everything was going well, and we knew we could reach out to them at any point throughout the stay. They were quick to respond to any messages. The property was beautiful as well, and we really enjoyed the hot tub!

My friends and I had an amazing time at the Mellow Yellow! This cottage was spacious, incredibly clean, and beautifully renovated and decorated. Fully stocked with everything you could need, and so much space outdoors on the dock and beach area. I can’t say enough good things about this cottage. Rhys was lovely to communicate with, and we had no issues during our stay. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this cottage.

When we first entered this property, we saw that the cottage exceeded our expectations. It was bright, spacious, comfortable and had a beautiful view of Moira Lake. The kitchen was well-equipped and the deck facing the lake had comfortable seating for relaxing and outdoor dining. When I had a question, Tracey responded promptly in a friendly and helpful way. Staying at Julia’s place was a great experience ! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better). The space was cozy, stylish, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Julia was an exceptional host—super responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience.

Leah and her husband were absolutely wonderful from our very first interaction. We were visiting to celebrate our wedding, and they went above and beyond to support us, even helping with a small outdoor family gathering. They were also kind enough to accommodate an early check-in, which made our day so much smoother. The property was beautifully set on the water - peaceful, scenic, and perfect for the occasion. The home was spotless and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and Leah made sure we were settled and had everything to make our stay perfect. She even made personalized signs for our event and guest parking, which our family really appreciated. Everyone was blown away by the space and the hospitality, but the star of the show might have been little Miss Lily - the sweetest kitty that loved a good snuggle with the family! Thank you again, Leah, for such a memorable stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back!! :)

My husband and I had the most magical last minute getaway at Jeff and Jenn's place. Located right on the water and surrounded by lush green fields, it was just he escape into nature that we needed. Jeff provided very clear instructions on how to find the cottage, which helped when our GPS gave the wrong directions. Inside it's like twin cottage spaces with two kitchens and two living rooms and four bedrooms. Would be a great setup with another couple or family. We hope to come back with friends! Would definitely recommend staying here to access all that the County has to offer. Bonus Sandbanks park pass allowed us to visit the provincial park and access several hiking trails. Coffee and coffeemaker on site, allowed us to get up and go. We also very much enjoyed flipping through the archive of National Geographics! Thanks for a great stay!

We had a perfect winter getaway and would be back anytime. The description and pictures shown are accurate, it’s actually more beautiful in person. Loved how well-equipped the place is. From everything you might need in the kitchen&bathroom to the beautiful and thoughtful touches like the inside swing and the coffee table books, games, movies, an array of pillows and blankets to choose from and comfy beds. This place felt like home as soon as we walked in. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful and feels private even with the neighbouring houses. The sauna is breathtaking and a luxurious addition. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Caroline was so kind and responsive and graciously extended help during a bad ice storm that happened during our stay. We would come back, 10/10. Thank you for a memorable stay.

A cozy cottage in a peaceful location that melts your stress away. We had a wonderful time during a long weekend getaway. The view of the lake is absolutely mesmerizing and makes you want to return again and again. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind.

Booked the red cabin for a long weekend on Lake Ontario. We had great access to the lake and were able to come back to a hot shower, full kitchen, and even had time to build a fire. All you need in one convenient cabin. Beware that the dock/ramp was very shallow. I have a bass boat and was able to get into it but might be more difficult in a larger vessel. Good news is that the cabins have an external outlet to plug in the boat batteries. Connie was great at keeping us updated and gave clear instructions for check in-check out. Highly recommend! (Especially for Anglers)

This place is stunning. The views and location are breathtaking, rejuvenating, and beautiful! We had so much fun enjoying the amenities like the pool, volleyball court, and fire pits. The rules were very clear and straightforward. The staff was kind, hospitable, and offered great tips for hiking and kayaking nearby. Big recommendation from us!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! It’s the perfect getaway—cozy, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The highlight for us has to be the sunsets. We've traveled to many places, but nothing compares to the breathtaking sunsets here. The view is simply magical, with the sky painted in the most vibrant hues. Watching the sun dip below the horizon from the porch has become our favorite part of each day. We can't recommend this place enough !

Our stay at Kevin and Andrea’s was amazing from start to finish. Right from check-in they were so informative of the local area and brewerys or restaurants nearby and the place was spotless. Check in was very organized and easy. The place itself is so clean and comfortable, perfect for our mid Oct visit when all the leaves on the trees were changing. The firepit was a really nice edition as well. The area is stunning with so much nearby to do, and the park pass was so appreciated with Sandbanks being a short drive away. We felt very welcome the moment we walked in the door, thank you for creating such a lovely space!

Lovely country home right on the water with beautiful views and walkable within the cute neighbourhood. Lots of local charm and a quick drive to other quaint towns!

Logement très mignon, bien décoré et magnifique vue, directement sur l’eau! L’hôte nous a bien conseillé sur les activités à faire dans les alentours. Le chalet est très bien situé, tout près du parc national de Sandbanks et des centre-villes de Picton et Wellington. Nous avons adoré notre séjour! La seule chose est qu’il n’y a pas d’air climatisée, il peut faire chaud la nuit malgré les ventilateurs.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay during the last week of August! Some of our favourite parts of the place include: the canoes/kayaks that were available to use at our leisure, the check-in process being seamless, the essentials being provided (all kitchen supplies, beach towels, shower supplies), the other amenities (board games, BBQ). The place itself is quite beautiful. The dock with the chairs, the fire pit (even though we did not use) and the solarium were all stunning. I would just mention that it is a bit smaller of a place inside, so did find it a bit cozy and tight in the rooms. Also, the place is supplied with quite a loud window AC so sometimes it would get a bit loud/warm in the place. However, we would still give the place a 5/5 all things considered.
