We were welcomed as we entered the property with real South-African hospitality! Rooms are large and have everything you need. In winter, I recommend an extra blanket! The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. The only downside is the lack of a shower in the bathroom. Thank you for hosting us!

what a wonderfull weekend in an amazing house with amazing facilities. The huge garden let us set up our badminton nets, soccer nets and the under cover boat house was amazing. The help that lives on the propperty was extraordinary and avalible all day when needed. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure

Beautiful view from almost every room, inside is very modern , solar but also Eskom electricity on those rainy days made a big difference. Clean rooms and bathrooms Private and very safe area Few nice hikes inside the estate easily accessed from the house which was great fun Thank you for a lovely stay

What a beautiful and roamy home with all the necessary amenities to have a relaxed family weekend. The 5th room is an outside room and gave the young ones a bit of privacy from the "old people". We had a wonderful stay in a lovely peaceful neighborhood in a safe security estate, but with seamless access as arranged by the owner. There are plenty of bathrooms and enough room for all the guests to be comfortable and relaxed with absolute attention to detail in each space with all the luxuries you would need for a weekend of spoils away from home. We had a very special family breakfast and would count the days to visit this house at Vall Marina again in the summer to also fully enjoy the outside amenities in the warmer months.

We really enjoyed our stay, Salomé was really welcoming and helpful. We had everything we needed for the cold in Bloem and had a very comfortable stay.

We stayed at the house to visit splashy fen, and although it was a 45 minute drive, it was a wonderful and peaceful and spacious home for our large group. Sani pass is not too far away so do pack passports for the trip. The house is in need of a little maintenance here and there but a beautifully decorated home with a stunning view.

We had a lovely stay, the home was spotless and relaxing. Just what we needed after a long day on the road. Would have loved to have stayed a bit longer.

I LOVED the garden cottage!! The Victorian house is absolutely beautiful......I am planning on booking another stay before I move to Cape Town. Lourens was a great host.

It was a good choice for my parents to stay in very homely and safe. The home was cosy and comfortable . We experienced warm hospitality . I would highly recommend for comfortable stay.

My friends and I truly enjoyed our stay at Susan’s place. The unit had everything we needed - plentiful of space and beds plus it has all the amenities listed Susan was also really responsive during our stay, making sure we felt at home and had everything we need. I am looking forward to going to Susan’s place again soon

What a lovely stay! The photos does not do this place justice!! We will definitely be back. We just stayed for one night, but the beds were fantastic (electric blankets, lush bedding etc) and Lindi is a marvellous host! Thanks again for everything.

We absolutely loved our stay at Aloe House! As nature lovers, we could have spent the entire day just soaking in the breathtaking mountain views — truly picture-perfect. The house felt like a home away from home, and being able to bring our dog along was a huge bonus. She had the best time exploring the property with us, and the secure fencing gave us complete peace of mind. The house itself was cozy yet spacious, and waking up to those stunning mountain views from the bedrooms was such a treat. Aloe House has quickly become one of our favourite getaways! Thank you to the incredible hosts!

We had a lovely stay. The walk to the cave paintings was a lot of fun. There was more to do on the farm than we anticipated. We could have spent the whole weekend there without going out. That being said, its close to Bethlehem, Clarens and the Golden Gate Highlands Park, and we made full use of that. Will have to come back to explore the farm to its fullest.

I can certainly see why the Peach Tree is a Guest Favorite. We loved our stay. The Cottage was perfect, beautiful setting inside and out. Our Mini Schnauzer loved the lawn, ample space to run around. Exactly what we wanted.

This was a lovely place to stay! All the details & care was very appreciated. We had a great time walking the trails and our kids loved they stay. We also felt very relaxed after our stay!
