Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Flanders

We spent a fantastic weekend in Ernest's beautiful and comfortable house in Ostend. 4 beautiful bedrooms with good beds, 2 nice bathrooms with a convenient shower. A super equipped kitchen. A sunny terrace with beautiful, enclosed garden. Even fresh herbs were thought of:-). Our reception was very warm and friendly, really great!

Xavier was very communicative in the build up to our trip. On arrival we met him in person and he was very friendly and had provided good information verbally and in writing about useful shops and directions etc. The place had lots of room, very comfy sofa and beds. Lovely garden. Also some games available at the house. Great location to walk into the Bruges city centre, about a 20 minute walk. Would recommend to others. Bruges is a wonderful city to visit.

The house was cozy, clean, and perfectly located for our stay. We felt right at home and truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The host very helpful and professional. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay,all very easy walking to shops,train station and into the centre itself. Easy parking in garage which fitted our Toyota RAV4 in without a problem. the house itself is very open plan & very well appointed with everything you need including aircon. Two minor things is first sound travels in such a open planned area all the way up (our son could here us talking in his top floor bedroom) so we had to be aware when in kitchen, also trains do pass through regular but this stops at certain time and we wasn't disturbed at night. These were minor issues and would definitely use again.

The cottage is located in a very quiet residential complex, but at the same time a short distance from a holiday center with all the essential services and with excellent spaces dedicated to children. The residence is about a 10-minute walk from a very large beach and a 10-minute drive from the center of De Haan. Very helpful host and quick to respond. Highly recommended for a family vacation.

The Matthieu home was perfect for our group of 6. We each had private space while still enjoying meals and relaxing together. The home is exquisitely designed and decorated - minimalistic at its finest. The blue stone on the outside of the home came from our family quarry which was fun to see. We brought our staff to Europe as one last hurrah before retiring at the end of the month. The trip was for them but we enjoyed watching Belgium through their wide eyes. This is the perfect home for a larger group!

Excellent location, close to the city centre, it was easy to walk home from everywhere. Nice apartment, very approacheable owner. Instructions were communicated in a timely fashion. Was very easy to get into the property. Can’t wait to come again.

The apartment corresponded to our idea, everything was very clean. Everything necessary is available. You felt immediately welcome and at home. There was a Senseo as a coffee maker. Perfect for us. Highlighted is the good and fast contact with the landlord, who always supports you directly with help and advice. The associated private parking is also worth gold. In the area you can't park for free anywhere and in the season all parking spaces are often occupied. We were very pleased and would come back any time. Full recommendation from us!

We had a wonderful stay in Brussels from April 18 to 21 with our little one, and this apartment was absolutely perfect for us. It’s clean, cozy, and very well-located — close to public transport, shops, and cafes, yet quiet and peaceful. The apartment had everything we needed, and it was very comfortable for staying with a small child. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches and the warm welcome from our hosts — they were kind, responsive, and made us feel at home.

Second time we've returned to this apartment and probably NOT the last 🤩 the accommodation is super well located and matches the description! The host is super responsive and friendly :) check-in and check-out are done independently and super easily! There are plenty of children's games right across from the apartment and the view is stunning! In short, a perfect stay again! Recommended +++

Beautiful apartment. 🤩

The apartment is extremely well planned and decorated, with a bright and comfortable living space despite being on the ground floor. The main square and restaurants are literally two minutes away, while the street itself is very calm. The sofa bed is the easiest to open, can be done with a finger and that’s pretty helpful. Lots of teas and coffees made it even better to feel relaxed and at home.

We had a great stay! The host was incredibly friendly and helpful — we arrived quite late, and we really appreciated that he waited for us. Communication was smooth and fast throughout our stay. The apartment was in excellent condition. I especially appreciated the workspace setup — it included a desk, docking station, monitor, keyboard, and mouse, which made it super convenient for both work and gaming with my own laptop. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the combined oven/microwave unit was easy to use. There's also a dishwasher, which made things even more convenient. Parking was free and easy to find right downstairs. There are supermarkets nearby, and a large shopping mall is just a short drive away. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely love to stay here again in the future!

I had such a lovely stay at Mylene's apartment, it's a great place to have the best of being beside the sea for some peace and the town a few minutes walk, tram stop behind the apartment too which was very handy! it's very comfortable, so we'll equipped too :) highly recommend you book in with Mylene if you are looking for accomodation in Belguim :)

WOW! What can we say, A+++ Yves! Firstly, thank you for the hosting! Our flight to Brussels was cancelled. When I informed Yves he was very understanding and I felt confident that no matter the situation, we would be supported and cared for. When we arrived at the property one day late, it was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with stunning wide windows offering an interesting view at the front. Location was very desirable - amenities are a moment's walk, there is a supermarket a few steps away, and as for food options? No shortage in beautiful Hasselt. We particularly enjoyed the Canal Area which is full of affordable restaurants. Come here and soak up the atmosphere of a beautiful Belgian city. Though we were visiting a friend and the Efteling Theme Park, there's plenty to do and see just in Hasselt! Yves' place is actually larger than it looks in the pictures too. Thanks Yves, we hope to visit your place again soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

A very nicely furnished and clean apartment with everything you need. We especially liked the location. You walk out the door and are right by the sea. You can walk to everything. In the immediate vicinity is a small yacht club, which also offers drinks and food in a very nice atmosphere. We will be happy to come back.

We had an amazing stay at Sea View! The apartment was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable family getaway. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the seaside, and the views were incredible. Zara was a wonderful host, very responsive, and made sure everything was perfect for us. Our daughter especially loved the kids’ room, which was beautifully set up and made her feel right at home. The parking option made things so convenient too. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely return for our next trip to Knokke-Heist. Highly recommend Sea View to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly experience by the sea!
