We had an amazing stay in Matthijs's house in Carvoeiro. The house was beautiful, exactly as described in the photos. It had everything you could need for a holiday with kids, plenty of towels for everyone and all the amenties (dishwahse, washing machine etc.) There were some lovely touches when we checked in, like crisps and abottle of wine left for us, which was much appreciated. Yannick and his team were also really flexible with the check in, we arrived at the house at 2pm, and although the standard check in wasn't until 4pm, they allowed us to check in early as the house was ready. I would really recommend paying to heat the pool also, this really made our trip as we could literally use the pool any time of day, it was brilliant! The main this we were looking for as we had 2 babies and a child in our group was somewhere within walking distance of the town, this was about 15 mins walk to the beach and the restaurants, with just a slight hill on the way back up. Do you want a great, luxurious and yet super cozy holiday in the Algarve? Don't hesitate: this house is perfect. Very neat and spacious house with all the necessary amenities (also various toiletries available for you), beautiful decor, very cozy. Quiet area. Not a holiday home, but a really luxurious family house where you just don't want to leave. Also very spacious garden (lawn, orchards, spacious driveway) with a superb swimming pool and sun loungers/umbrellas. Laura's welcome was great, not intrusive, but just always readily available you had to need something (which wasn't for us, we really had everything our heart desired). During our week-long stay, cleaning was also done in between (with new towels), the garden taken care of and the pool cleaned. In short, did I mention that this house is perfect and its money is completely worth it?

We rented the villa for 8 days and were very satisfied right from the start. The villa was clean and comfortably furnished. Totally adequate for six people. The pool is a nice size and also deep. The terrace is perfect for longer evenings. The kitchen is very well equipped and the barbecue on the terrace works perfectly. The neighbourhood is very touristy, lots of restaurants, small boutiques and souvenir shops. The beach is less than a 15-minute walk away and the nearest shops are 5 minutes away by car. Carvoeiro is perfect for visiting Albufeira, Lagos, Sagres and Monchique/Portimao. Communication with Sam went smoothly. If we had any questions we usually received a reply within a few hours. The check-in was just as good, Sam is very friendly and explained everything to us very well.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Jacaranda, the week just evaporated leaving us wanting to stay longer. The setting is stunning with views across the hills all the way to the south coast and the garden is beautifully kept. The pool was a real bonus, although a little fresh in early April. But once acclimatised, it's lovely after a long day to soak up the view. The house itself is spotless, incredibly clean and well tended. Almost everything you could need is available with the kitchen being well provisioned. The location is good, being out of the usual tourist hotspots but still close enough to amenities and good for day trips. A particular favourite are the west coast beaches, well worth a visit especially Praia da Bordeira - but get there early to ensure parking! If you need to work while away, the WiFi is super fast - way faster than anything we have back home. Definitely a place we would love to return to!

We just got back from a week stay at Marco’s place and we really enjoyed our time. So close to the strip and lots of restaurants and bars nearby and the beach is a 10 min walk. We hired a car for the week so secure parking was a must for us and Marco’s place delivered. Highly recommend staying here for a base in the Algarve.

Fabulous place for a family. Great experience from start to end. Clear instructions. Super clean, spacious and bright. The location is great - a 2.minute walk to our excursion (kayaking), and a 5-minute walk to the boardwalk that leads to the city center! Beaches are about a 5-minute drive!

The apartment is beautiful!! Super spacious, with all the amenities. Highly recommended. Terry was an excellent host! He welcomed us, with some amenities, in the pool, he left inflatables for my daughter. She gave us a lot of recommendations. Very nice and responsive! The stay was perfect!

Wonderful location and the beach is fantastic. Room was well equipped and everything was in excellent working condition. The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. We did a catamaran tour along the coast and the cliffs and caves were incredibly beautiful. Highly recommend this location.

This was one of the best airbnbs we stayed in, and we have stayed in many! It’s such a beautiful apartment, so nicely decorated with a lot of style and high quality. It really felt like a cosy home. And the surroundings are sooo pretty, so many flowers and plants! The outside terrace was amazing, and the small playground was the best for our kids. It is a short drive to the coast or Silves, yet away from the touristy and busy crowds. The owners are super responsive and flexible. The value for money was great, we stayed somewhere half as nice but double the price near the coast before. It was the best and if we ever visit the Algarve again we’d definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!

Everything was great, and Portimao is lovely. Ana was always very helpful, super clear and very friendly. Lovely trip, especially in shoulder season. We’ll definitely return! Only thing to watch out for is the little fruit flies that hit in late May,… the fly screens are very important to keep closed! Thats nothing to do with the lovely. accommodation, it’s the area and that specific time of year I think. Accommodation was spot on, and we’ll defo try to get back again. The surrounding area really is gorgeous. Thank you Ana!

Everything was as advertised. The house is basically in a development and once you close the front gate it really is a fun house for adults and kids!!

Incredible stay in this beautiful villa hosted by Wilson. We had such an amazing time! The view is simply magnificent, there is plenty of room and seating areas to enjoy it every minute of the day. We had the pool heated and it was totally worth it. Note if you are travelling with kids, there is a small separated part of the pool that is PERFECT for toddlers. Wilson was such a great host, starting from the Booking. He gave us plenty of suggestions and tips to make the most out of our stay and he welcomed us with a welcome basket which was much appreciated as we just arrived from our night flight. Everything was super clean and there was even everything you need to enjoy the pool and the beach with kids. Don’t look further, if you have a car, this villa is the best base to explore the Algarve. We would happily come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Lina’s apartment! The pool was great for a refreshing swim and the terrace was perfect for relaxing. We were four girls and really appreciated the cleanliness and privacy of the apartment, the easy parking, and its location in a quiet neighborhood - yet still close to Lagos and some stunning viewpoints and beaches. The views during my jogs to Ponta da Piedade and along the Fishermen’s Trail were absolutely breathtaking! We truly enjoyed our time there and would definitely book again!

The villa was amazing! Very clean and much larger than what we expected! Wr appreciated the gardens and the peaceful location to enjoy family time! Beds were comfy! The kitchen was very well stocked and the games rooms and patio areas were amazing! Thank you!

We had a wonderful holiday, a much needed peaceful and enjoyable time. The house was well situated, not overlooked at all. This meant that we could enjoy the pool whenever we wanted. My (older) kids absolutely loved it and have insisted ‘our next holiday cannot be in a hotel’. We hired a car so we did lots of exploring. The Intermarché supermarket was fantastic but there is also a well stocked Spar shop a walk away. The house was very clean and tidy, the kitchen had plenty of equipment, including a dishwasher and a large fridge. It isn’t shiny and overly modern but that simply added to the charm. I highly recommend it.

Staying at Joana’s place in Lagos was the most heartwarming and memorable Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed - not just as guests, but as a little family. My wife, our baby, and I were blown away by the love and attention Joana poured into every detail of the home. The interior is simply stunning - unbelievably lovely, with an eye for exceptional decoration that makes the space feel not only stylish but deeply cozy and comforting. Every corner felt thoughtfully put together, inviting us to slow down and feel at home. One of our favorite features was the patio with its small pool, perfect for a refreshing dip during the warm afternoons. It became a peaceful little sanctuary, away from the buzz of Lagos, and gave us that much-needed feeling of retreat. What touched us most, though, was Joana’s incredible hospitality. This place was amazing! Beautiful pool, walk to the ocean and amazing beaches. lots of room inside and out. some negatives are the beds are very FIRM! No dishwasher pucks were left, 3 tiny bars of soap, 3 tiny containers for dish washing. Also no extra toilet paper. It really goes a long way to supply the little things, ei hand soap, dish soap, and pucks for dishwasher,extra toilet paper! Maybe paper towels. More than 1 tea towel would have been good also.
