we are on a cycling holiday from Prague to the Netherlands and found this lovely apartment on the route, in the city of Meiningen. It is an apartment with all amenities available, really great!!. For us, the washing machine was a godsend. The reception by Tanja was warm and energetic, she herself spoke a little Dutch to welcome us 😃 The town has a very nice and cozy center with excellent restaurants. It is that we had to leave after 1 night otherwise we would certainly have liked to stay there for several days.

A great stay calling for repetition. Bernd and his wife are super friendly, the surroundings are great and the value for money fits! All in all a great place to stay. Thanks again!

We were very satisfied, the apartment was at least as described and had everything we needed for our stay (4 days). A parking space is right in front of the house, heating works great and very fast, communication was always purposeful and nice

Our long weekend at the mill was perfect. The yard is very large with many beautiful corners. As a large group, you can spread out or enjoy yourselves together.

Communication with the wonderful host was absolutely impeccable, prompt, straightforward and very friendly. She provided us with a lot of information about the forest Loft and the surrounding area in advance and was always available in between for questions. The surrounding campsite is well maintained, quiet and located directly on the reservoir. From the forest Loft you can reach the shore of the reservoir in just a few minutes, as well as various hiking trails in the surrounding forest. The forest Loft itself makes a quite new impression (fireplace as a highlight!),it is very clean,cozy, pretty, furnished with a lot of love for detail. The living space is beautifully bright due to the large windows and the view great, the bed is very comfortable and also the bathroom is really nice and spacious. We had a dog with us, for whom there are also long lines for outside as well as a cabin and he also felt at home immediately. Overall, we did not miss anything and will be happy to come back!

I cannot say enough about how good it felt to arrive to George's. I was going to go hiking with my work colleagues the day after and just booked the place to spend the night since Ziegenrück is just 1 hour too far from where I live. Guess what... it ended being a great evening full with good mood, great food, conversation and feeling at home. Room was sparkly clean and very comfortable to sleep. They also offered breakfast which I enjoyed very much the morning after. The place is just beautiful with an outside terrace and an inner restaurant area where you can hear water passing through. If you are on the area just go there. To disconnect and relax and enjoy.

Very satisfied. The location and the garden were even better than the photos suggest, you are actually after 50 meters directly on the lake (if you walk through the adjacent campsite). The three of us got a little tight in the cabin, but that doesn't bother you in the summer.

Everything is great! Good communication and how incredibly nice Nadine's parents are, who brought us to the bungalow.

Very spacious home with upscale and cozy amenities. Comfortably suitable for up to 6 people (2 bathrooms, three bedrooms - bedroom a bit noisy, so consideration is popular). Kitchen equipment modern and above average equipped, both in the number of plates/cutlery, etc., and in the completeness of the utensils. Location near Erfurt/Weimar and between Eisenach and Jena ideally suited to explore the region and the historically significant places by car. Within walking distance there is a thermal spa with Italian restaurant, otherwise a car makes sense. Due to the immediate location at the bathable reservoir, certainly a great object in summer, which we were of course unable to take advantage of in October. A special flair through a fireplace in winter. Karen and Jörg are very nice and great hosts who are very interested in the well-being of the guests. Not only is a highly recommended point of contact for holidays in the region.

We were able to spend a nice long weekend here and especially enjoy the large garden with swings, trampoline and space to play (and due to the location you don't bother any neighbors either) - perfect with children. Great was also the long dining table where we could actually all sit together. Since everything is spread over three floors, but everyone has had enough space even with a full house. Everything organizational about our stay worked out great and we also got quick help on site with a small problem with the door. All in all, we loved it in summer!

We enjoyed our 3-week stay at Christoph's cozy apartment near the river. The balcony is good for people watching and duck feeding day and night:) Christoph was always helpful and nice. Miss the apartment already!

The accommodation is very nice, quiet and idyllic. The apartment has everything you need and the view is amazing. Having breakfast on the balcony was my highlight. Our son was very happy about the cats outside and the playground nearby. It was very nice here. Thank you

For us, it was an absolutely perfect week in the apartment. The stove was very cozy, the beds were too and in the beautiful garden there was a lot of flora and fauna to discover. From here there are many hiking trails, so the car can also stay parked :)
