The area has fantastic views of the Lyng Alps, with opportunities to see the northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. There are good hiking opportunities in the immediate area. Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bicycles, snowshoes. Beds are fully made.

Rauhallinen mökki, kalaisan joen rannassa. Autolla et pihaan asti pääse mutta auton voi jättää parkkipaikalle josta noin kilometri verran merkattua polkua kävellen pääset perille. Talvikaudella pääset hiihtäen perille parkkipaikalta tai voi erikseen ostaa kuljetuksen moottorikelkalla perille. Mökissä ei ole peruslämpöä vaan puutakalla. Welcome to stay in Muonio! A peaceful small village of around 1100 inhabitants, located on the bank of the river Muoniojoki. Just a few hundreds metre of the front channel of the river you find our peaceful, cosy house. You will be able to use one half of the house. The house has two flats which are not connected. Privacy and peace for our guests! To the centre of Muonio, where you can find a very good selected K-market shop and also a S-market it is just about 2,2 km.
