Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Eastern Province

Great place and great welcome. Everything is simple in the rooms, there is nothing superfluous, clean and comfortable, and most importantly - a panoramic window, behind which there is a beautiful view of the valley and the 9 arch bridge. The owners are very friendly. For breakfast they serve their fruits, vegetables and delicious tea. It's just rubbish! Too bad we only stayed one night. I dream of returning again.

The property is spacious , green and airy. Two big beaches (Kalkudah and Passikudah ) are just 200 metres away in opposite directions to each other. The host ,Mr,Arul, and his wife ,Usha, made us feel right at home. The breakfast was complimentary . It was vast, very delcious and had variety. We also opted for dinner at the Arul's property as it was so good. Seafood curries ( Fish and prawn curries) were made in heaven and the variety of vegetables offered was great! Here all the guests are offered welcome drink on arrival. Water dispenser is provided for all the guests so there is no need to buy plastic water bottles. Laundry services provided . A/C in every cottage but we rarely used it as cool sea breeze keeps the room walls cool. We had a great time.

Bardzo przyjemne miejsce. Pokój taki jak na zdjęciach, przed pokojem hamaki i leżaki, można się zrelaksować patrząc na piękne góry. Ishari i Jej syn Vaneesaha są przemili, chętnie podpowiadają co ciekawego zobaczyć. Vaneesaha odebrał Nas z dworca, na następny dzień zorganizował wspaniałą wycieczkę po Ella, dzień później zawiózł Nas do Udawalawe na Safari, które również dla Nas zorganizował. Pyszne śniadania, świetna komunikacja i najlepszy gość z recepcji-piesek Bruno ❤️

The room was super clean and the bed was comfortable. There was hot water and mosquito net. The family was nice with me and their kid took me on a walk. Really good advices and help to organise visits if it was needed (he organised a tuktuk to take me to the sunrise hike in Pidurangala). They also have a restaurant in which they prepare amazing food. Therefore, I really recommend this homestay because on top of that is super cheap!! Thanks for everything

Definitiv die BESTE Unterkunft während unserer Sri Lanka Reise. Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Das Zimmer war groß und hatte alles zu bieten, was wir benötigt haben. Der Strand und die Hauptstraße mit Geschäften und Restaurants waren in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen. Raffaella ist ein absolutes Unikat. Ihr Humor wird uns im Gedächtnis bleiben. Außerdem hat sie uns ein Dschungel BBQ mit Sudu vermittelt.. eine unglaubliche Erfahrung, die wir wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Das Personal war auch sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen. Danke Raffaella und Danke Sudu für diese unvergessliche Zeit :)

Единственный недостаток, этого жилья, это то что в нём настолько хорошо, что вам не захочется никуда выходить. Качели на балконе с видом, это что-то нереальное. К тому же, вы можете заказать завтрак или ужин прямо здесь, заранее, у хозяйки. И он будет вкусным и очень доступным. Так же можно заказать поездку по окрестностям, на тук-туке, по разумной цене. Обязательно сделайте это. В общем сняв этот номер, вы получите абсолютно всё что вам нужно.

Endroit paisible, chambre propre, bon petit déjeuner inclus et avec un léger surplus on peut prendre un autre repas. Près de tout en marchant qq minutes. Je vous recommande cet endroit, bon rapport qualité/ prix. Les hôtes sont vraiment gentils ainsi que le beau chien Labrador Léo🐾 Flexible pour l’arrivée, très apprécié surtout après un long voyage! Sehr gute Lage man schaut bis nach Udawallawe wenn das Wetter klar ist. Prima für Ausflüge zu Wasserfällen, Lipton Teefabrik, Tagesausflug nach Ella mit der Bahn. Selbstgemachtes Kokosnusseis bei Olives Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen!

This cottage is really great! It has got an excellent view, not only the landscape but also some details of the town are visible. You have your own cottage with the glass front on top of a rock. It is quiet, spotlessly clean and very modern. They provide a very good service with breakfast which is served on the terrace and the personnel can arrange for taxi, scooter/bike rentals and more.

Our stay was great from the first moment until the end. We felt very welcomed by the the lovely host familiy, who cared a lot for us and gave us good advices for Nuwara Eliya. The house is very modern, the rooms are nice and clean. The Location is great, since you have stunning view over the town from above. The breakfast was always delicous. They also arranged our transport to the Airport, which was a fantastic help and a cheaper option than it would have been from a driver conpany. Thank you so much!!!

Kumbuk River Resort is like nowhere else we stayed in Sri Lanka! It’s a really special place with unique accommodation and a focus on supporting the local community and ecosystem. We enjoyed this fantastic place with our 2 children (4 and 8 years). It is remote so I would recommend 2 nights maximum stay.

Perhaps this is the best place where I stayed in Sri Lanka, I want to stay here)) the Owner is very hospitable, ready to help in every case. He gave us everything we needed and advised us where and how to go and where to buy. The house is new, very clean and beautiful, and very well located. From the main road you need to climb only 50 meters. It's quiet here, but you're in the middle of Ella. From the window we had a beautiful view of Adam's Peak.

We booked Mango Villa because it was a recommendation from a couple we met and we’ve been really happy about it! We arrived later than we thought and Santha was worried and wrote us. So lovely! Than, when we finally arrived in the evening we’ve been so tired and hungry but to lazy to go somewhere to eat. So Santha and his wife cooked for us such a delicious curry, it was amazing. We’ve been so happy about that. Santha and his whole family is so warmly and welcoming, we felt so comfortable in the Guesthouse. The room and the bathroom was clean and cozy. What was really good, that there is an mosquito net behind the bathroom window - nothing could come in. On top you can have a hot shower after a rainy day - that was so good. These both things aren’t usual, we hadn’t it before. Also you’ve the great view of the terrace to the Lionrock. The garden is just beautiful! The breakfast was also really good, with coffee or tea, juice and different food. Also we rent a scoter for one day and cruised from one to the other sight seeing place - it was perfect that Santha has it to rent. He gave us a lot of good tips around. We stayed 3 nights with sithi and his family. He and his wife are amazing hosts and we felt at home Immediately. Sithi gave us great tips for our trip ans also some advice with our tuk tuk. He can also arrange a safari for you or pick you up at your location, if you like. Breakfast and dinner were delicious thanks to his wife. The room was big with A/C and mosquito net (which you will need in that area). Highly recommended!

Ich habe mich bei Ranji und ihrer Familie sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück von ihr war super lecker und für Fragen war immer jemand erreichbar. Ich habe nur 2 Nächte vor Ort verbracht würde aber bei einem längeren Aufenthalt jederzeit wieder in die Unterkunft kommen. Eine sehr gastfreundliche Familie.

Wonderful host and a great apartment to relax and start trips to Lions Rock and Pidurangala Rock. I felt very comfortable. Breakfast was good.

It was truly a wordeful Stay at 27, Demodara, Spring valley Rd. Though the place was difficult to find but their hospitality compensated for everything. The place has all modern amenities, very beautiful. neat and clean. They have kept all the necessary cooking essentials. The house is very beautiful with great view from the top. Ishara and Sanoj both are great person. Sanoj was very easily approachabe. After we reached their place, Ishara was there to take care of everything. He is a great, very humble and cooperative person. He was always a call away. He served us great breakfast and also Keep on checking withs us wheather we want dinner to be arranged be him. He also helped aranging us a car to go to colombo. and also picked us up in his car when we were coming to his house on the checkin day. It was truly a wonderful experience at this place. Beautiful place, great views, excellent food and best person Ishara summarise this place.

Etwas abgelegen aber dafür mit einem grandiosen Ausblick. Zimmer waren schön und sauber.

Centrally located. Walkable distance (3 min) to the bus stops to catch a bus. There is a Cargills around 5-7 min walk where you can find mosquito spray if that is bothering you. Wifi can be slow or not working during some time of the day. Walls are a little thin. The host was very hospitable. Breakfast was included. Good prices for what it is.

Hi Neverbeen team and Justin, Thanks for making our stay beautiful :) We were desperate to find place in Ella but it's our luck we found this beautiful home, Justin is our host who lives with his family downstairs. We stayed at private comfy room, with beautiful scenic tea plantation hill country view from our door step, enjoyed breakfast - one of best we had in our trip. Not that much far from the Ella center. A tuktuk drive 5 minutes is okey for us, bit away from the Ella busy downtown but felt home at Jamali's place. Thanks Neverbeen Team, also for your offer. Very kind :) 5 start for all of your great services. The wifi was slow bit, I guess it was due to the raining.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit kostenlosem Frühstück. Hier konnte man zwischen einheimischen und englischem Frühstück wählen. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr bemüht und haben jeden Wunsch erfüllt. In dem Hotel wird noch etwas gebaut, was uns aber nicht weiter gestört hat.
