The Bungalow is located in East Flores, 29km away from Maumere. It lays in the garden of Happy Dive Retreat, close to the beach and has a direct sunset view. It is a spacious, well lit room, with a super king size bed, air conditioning and fan. The bathroom is large and spacious. There are a multitude of facilities around including a restaurant, bar, a small pool and a dive shop. We offer daily dive trips to the islands, muck diving, wreck diving and Padi Courses.

This is a slice of heaven in Rote Island! The bungalows were spotlessly clean and the outdoor (yet very private) ensuite bathrooms had lots of character. The rooms are spacious and airy and situated in a peaceful spot with unbelievable sunsets. Eff and Rigga, along with their friendly families, made us incredibly welcome and the hospitality was the best we have experienced on our 4 month travels. Great value for money for the quality of the accom. Add to this ice cold beers and delicious food and I’d say you would be hard pressed to find a better spot! Thanks for the great stay!

What a place! It is around a 10 minute scooter from tland so definitely not walkable, the space was beautiful i definitely reccomend if you want to be out and not around a lot of people.

We had a great time at this lovely place! By far the most aesthetic place I've stayed in Indonesia, there was a lot of attention to the little details, which are often missed. The surroundings are of course stunning, but despite how remote the location they still have high quality ingredients and items - leading to great food, both western and Indonesian. Cindy, the host, was extremely helpful with great local knowledge, and was able to help us arrange a snorkeling trip, a moped and pickup from the Harbour. She clearly cares a great deal about the island, and is active in the community to help it develop sustainably. Thanks for such a great stay!

We spent two nights in this paradise place. The surroundings were beautiful with lots of palms and flowers, the rooms are decorated with a lot of love for detail, the authentic food was very tasty and the staff was very nice. We enjoyed it very much.

Location is great and spectacular beach/pool view in the sunset hours. F&B are good in quality but they are lacking Indonesian/local food options. I would recommend this resort for anyone who seeks quality, western-standard stay in Rote.
