Nice apartment and welcoming owner. Had a nice stay.

Lovely apartment with views of the Loire River, perfectly located on the main plaza across from the chateau (less than five minute walk). Free parking garage (huge bonus, but difficult to locate at first ... walk to the right of the front door, then circle around behind the building on the riverside). Comfortable beds. Bathroom is split between a shower room with sink (attached to one of the bedrooms, but accessible from either side) and a toilet room. Fantastic coffee maker grinds fresh beans on demand. A bit noisy at night on the weekend due to setting up the excellent market which is just outside the front door. Note: for those with limited mobility, it is located on the European second floor (American third floor) with no elevator.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment in Amboise. We were 4 adults and 2 children. The apartment is quite large with 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets. Everything is within walking distance of the apartment. We even used the bikes available with the apartment, it was perfect. There is no outdoor space with the apartment, which may be missing on sunny days. The terraces in the city center are not far away, so that's not a real problem.

I reccomend this house 100%! Philippe is a great host, the house is 4min walking to the train station and 7min walking to the city center, perfect for parking as well. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and the bathroom is very clean. There is a small garden that we couldn't enjoy due to the rain but it is really calm and green.

immediately upon entering, it felt like a home and was very warm and inviting. The apartment was spotless, the kitchen was well stocked and was easy to cook in (we did cook) and overall we felt very comfortable and relaxed inside. The apartment was quiet and with the many windows it afforded lots of natural light inside the unit. The beds were comfy we slept well. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at Sophie's place when visting Amboise, you would not be disappointed.

Six nights from April 19 to 25, 2025 at "Amboise Centro - Ground floor of La Maison des Cochers", Amboise, France. Amboise is a pretty town, ideal for visiting many of the more than 300 Châteaux of the Loire Valley, starting with the Château d'Amboise, where the great Leonardo da Vinci rests in the Chapel of Saint-Hubert, and the Château de Clos Lucé, where Leonardo lived the last three years of his life. Pascale's apartment is located near the center and the castles, a two-minute walk from a large free parking lot, where we always found a spot! The apartment is perfect! Great for a couple, well equipped and very cozy. 6 STARS!!! Pascale has always been easily reachable: unfortunately it was not possible to meet, but I am a Host, and I know that it can happen. In conclusion, if you want to visit some Loire Valley Castles (we saw 7 in 6 days), Amboise is the ideal destination, and Pascale's apartments will welcome you perfectly. Fabio

What about this property? So to start, Melanie is a welcoming, responsive and attentive host. Regarding the location, the house is ideally located 15 minutes from Beauval Zoo where we spent 2 days and we left to visit the Château de Chenonceau. When we entered the accommodation it was impeccable, spotless, clean and it smelled divinely good. The house is beautifully decorated, a small family cocoon and above all very functional. The welcome booklet is superb, it is well done for guests (received the link at the time of booking and it is printed on site). Lots of little details in the house that make this Airbnb an upscale place. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are soft and the sheets are so soft. We had a great time and slept very well. If we are ever back in the area again, no doubt we will take this place again.

Nothing else to say. Clean accommodation. Pleasantly surprised by the size of the accommodation. Very well placed compared to Beauval Zoo. Excellent for organizing the weekend. 😊👍

We booked Cathy and Jean-Noël's apartment for our visit to Beauval Zoo for 1 weekend (25 min drive). Although at first glance the entrance to the residence seems "in its original state" the apartment is quite up to date. It is perfectly equipped (stove, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, oven, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, washing machine, clothes rack, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner,...) everything you need is there! The clear view and without any overlooking is very nice. The city center of Montrichard is very nice and has all the necessary shops (bakery, butcher, grocery store, Super U, Netto...) Regarding the hospitality of our hosts, what more can I say than PERFECT!! There is nothing to improve, you are already the best. Thanks to Cathy for the activity recommendations, unfortunately we didn't have time to visit the area more but we'll be happy to come back to your home if the opportunity arises!!

We had a great time at Marie-Paule's with our 15-month-old daughter. The apartment is spacious and nice. We enjoyed the terrace which is a real plus! The apartment is well equipped with kitchen utensils etc. and it is right next to the train station and the castle of Blois so very well located. We'll be happy to go back!

Thank you so much for this stay which met our expectations perfectly! The accommodation matches the photos perfectly, the setting was beautiful, peaceful, quiet and the view was magnificent!! We were hosted very well, the spa was really great!! We chose to opt for massages offered by Marie Thérèse, the host's wife, just above the accommodation for an extra charge and it really enhanced our stay!! The accommodation is also a 5-minute drive from Blois and a good distance from the Loire castles Definitely recommend!!
