Superb stay at Anne's in the heart of Barfleur facing the harbor. The accommodation is just beautiful and tastefully decorated. We would highly recommend it. The view facing the harbor is just sublime with the sunrise.

A very smart beautifully furnished centrally located apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed the diverse neighborhood with great restaurants and galleries within a short walking distance. Everything in the apartment has been well thought out and artfully curated. We appreciated the secure adjacent car park. The pre-arrival instructions were excellent. We look forward to staying again. Vincent is a great host. He was very accommodating with our check-in time. He greeted us at the apartment and showed us how everything works. Very responsive to our inquiries. The apartment is less than a 2-minute walk from downtown Bayeux, spacious, and well appointed. I highly recommend this place.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

The apt. was clean, and well equipped. Parking spot right in front is a bonus as is an outdoor seating area and washer/dryer in back. Walking distance to everything. An FYI is you will need to clean, including mopping or pay a $15e fee. Not a problem, just good to know.

Roland and Isabel (who greeted us) were both amazing! Isabel's smile was captivating and Roland was extremely responsive. We were also greeted with a lovely bottle of wine which was completely unexpected and most appreciately. The view of the water is exactly what you see in the photos and the unit was very comfortable! with the sound of waves breaking against the shore and folks flying kites on the beach. Please ake Roland's advice to bring a windbreaker... the wind is forever blowing. We used the parking lot just down the street which worked out perfectly. I'm on the road for quite some time and have quite a bit of luggage with me. So, Isabel's instructions to pull in to a drive across the street to unload was a life saver. I do suggest you pack as lightly as possible since the stairs leading up to the unit are a bit narrow - but the 2-floor climb is most worth it! I also suggest making dinner reservations if you wish to dine at one of the finer establishments on the beach.

Raphaëlle's cottage is highly recommended! We were there during the end of year celebrations and together with our two daughters aged 5 and 10, we were mainly looking for peace, coziness and a beautiful environment. We found that to the fullest! The house was very clean, everything was provided and Raphaëlle provided a cozy welcome. The fireplace was on, a candle was burning and she came to introduce herself very kindly. She even helped us with delicious oysters on New Year's Eve! The house is small but comfortable with lovely beds and a cozy living room. And the surroundings are wonderful. The sea is visible from the skylight and there are countless beautiful and interesting places to visit within driving distance. Totally recharged back home, thank you!

Sinead and I stayed for 9 nights in "The Patio des Marais" and our only regret was having to leave. The house was truly incredible, there was nothing that Sonia & David have not thought of, from the dishwasher tablets to the shuttlecocks. Like the house Sonia & David are also incredible, they were always attentive, respectful and and helpful. We wish them all the best for the future. We cannot say enough good things about Christian’s Chateau! The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful and made for a very peaceful start to our month long Europe trip. We loved greeting their horse and chickens each day and waking up in the bucolic countryside. It was the perfect gateway to Normandy and had everything you could possibly need for a memorable stay. The bedrooms were huge and beyond comfortable and you literally have an entire castle to yourself which makes you feel like royalty! The decor is whimsical and Victorian and adds to the charm and homeyness Christian certainly treated us like royalty too; he answered all of our questions in a timely manner, gave great area recommendations, and even left us a basket of delicious croissants for lunch! We relished the peace and quiet of this Airbnb and feeling like we could truly rest and escape the hustle and bustle. Thanks for being an amazing host and making our time in France so wonderful, Christian! :)

This is a great little house. It's just like its just like its described in the photos and description. It was easy to find and the check in instructions were clear. The host met me shortly after I arrived and showed me around. They even popped back in on the second day when I couldn't manage to work the TV- which we easily sorted. It's a short walk into the town which has a bunch of great little restaurants and shops. It's very close to Omaha Beach and the other D Day sites. I would definitely recommend this place to other guests.

Great location and beautiful home for a trip to the D Day beaches. Super convenient to walk to stores and restaurants in Bayeux. It was great to have a private parking space. House was very clean and well stocked. Rooms were all a good size. Rain kept us from eating outside but it has nice table in the fenced front yard that would have been a great place to relax. We strongly recommend this place!

Particularly well-equipped house (kitchen, garden), the children had fun with the swing and the arcade machine. It is also in a very good location, quiet and close to Omaha Beach. The convenience store is a few minutes' walk away for extra shopping. Thank you Beatrice for the tips and responsiveness in our exchanges!

The apartment is very cozy and well decorated. True to the photos. It has everything you need on site. The residence is very pretty and quiet. Marie Danielle is a very responsive and accommodating host. We had a great time.

Very nice and tastefully furnished apartment in the iconic former Grand Hotel d 'Houlgate. Everything is within walking distance, we had a lovely weekend.

Would love to stay again, due to proximity of the lovely beach and other nearby villages worth visiting. The sea views from the house makes you feel relaxed. Also, the beautiful library and expo hall in Deauville incl restaurant is a short stroll away. i thought this place had a very clever layout: lots of (inbuilt) storage and in general a nice flow. Our boys (2 and 9) felt at home while playing on the floor, watched some tv and entertained themselves building a fort with minimal things such as cushions and bedding in the living room and childrens room, while we were preparing for a day out or making dinner. Last but not least, Audrey is the best!

We had a great time in a spotless apartment, recently renovated, with sea views. No car needed, everything is within walking distance, we enjoyed the dike and the sandy beach. Thanks to Christelle for her welcome, guidelines and advice.

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

We are two Quebec couples who wanted to visit the landing beaches and its museums. The apartment met our expectations very well: it is very well located (25 minutes' walk from the Juno Beach Museum, in particular), in a quiet area. The apartment as such is really comfortable, very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. The bed and sofa bed are perfect, we all slept very well! Thanks Valerie and Manuel for this exceptional stay!
