The Farm Guesthouse & Yurts

Very cute old German settlement house. Lots of beds. Canadian hosts were very lovely and extremely hospitable, was great to hear about the humanitarian work they’re doing. Would come again!

Three traditional yurts are positioned on a grassy landscape, framed by rolling hills under a clear blue sky. Decorative elements adorn the yurts' exteriors, while power lines stretch across the scene, indicating the remote yet accessible environment.

It’s fantastic, absolutely worth money
A wooden deck is seen in the foreground, featuring a table set with a checkered tablecloth. Four white chairs surround the table, while a small bouquet of flowers adds a touch of color. A simple structure is visible in the background, framed by lush mountains.

Kegety Guesthouse welcomes you.

The mountain cottage is one of the best places we have ever stayed. It is the perfect mixture of isolated yet connected and although we stayed for a week we wished we had booked longer. Some Tips: Although it is in the mountains and on google maps it looks like there is nothing around there are amenities near by: A very small shop is about 1KM away, it has bread, beer, crisps, cigarettes and pelmeni. The town of Otogon has slightly bigger shops and is easy to hitch or get a marshrutka from the main road. The waterfall is a 2 hour walk or the road away, but it felt very safe to walk. There is an old Soviet camp nearby that if contacted in advance will prepare dinner for you for 350 som. There is a Marshutka (number 383) from Tokmok that has 3 departures a day. Hitchhiking is also very very easy (the first car stopped for us each time we tried) The cottage has a fridge, 2 cooking hobs, an electric water heater, and a western toilet. Thank you so much. Your place is paradise.

excellent base to visit the Buranatoren and make a day trip. To lake Kol Tor..Tokmok has a pleasant neighborhood to eat something in the evening as well as a department store Globus in a 10-minute walk. The operators are super friendly and are happy to take you to the Buranatoren or Konorcheckcanyon for a fee (1 hour drive). You can get a dinner for a fee. Choice of a menu. We would go back there!
