Chiloeislife cabin

LuisRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The house is very clean, the best part is the beds, which are very comfortable and have plenty of bedding to sleep peacefully. Being in the kitchen washing dishes and cooking while facing the garden full of little birds is very peaceful. There is a great wood-burning stove (fireplace) that warms the cabin a lot once lit. When we arrived, John had it lit, then it went out and it was difficult for us to light it. You have to have technique. John left us paraffin to light the fire, matches and cardboard to accelerate combustion. The patio is very large and full of plants and some spaces to sit, the place feels very quiet. There is no cell signal in the area, but the house has good wifi and allows you to stay connected. Getting to the house is a bit difficult, since the signal is lost on the road, it is about 1 km past the Mocopulli airport (Castro) towards Castro on the left. The alley is very narrow, only one car can pass and it has many holes, it is very uneven

Beach house

CharlotteRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Amazing location with a view on the bay - it was a treat waking up and seeing dolphins from the huge windows! The kitchen was fully equipped, bed very comfortable and in a peaceful location just 10 minutes away from Castro. Ideal place to unwind after a busy couple of weeks travelling through Patagonia. Maria Jose was very responsive and gave good recommendations of what to do in the area. Highly recommend if you’re looking to disconnect and enjoy nature right from the doorstep. We also loved the three dogs who were playful and happy to see us when we returned every day.
A charming house stands on stilts in a grassy expanse, surrounded by gently rolling fields. The front porch features a red railing, enhancing its welcoming appeal. Nearby, additional structures are visible against a backdrop of clear blue sky.

El Refugio Cabin

AlejandraRating, 5 stars39 months ago
A very well furnished cabin. The cabin has everything and is very clean, it is a very cozy home and the best place is the place, which although it does not remain in the castro center (15 min. approx.) is a place to relax and very nice. Susana, who was a very good host, was worried about everything at all times, even getting things she didn't have at home, like a water heater. Undoubtedly, with my family we are too grateful and happy with the stay and the place where it is located, we already want to come back. I recommend it to a thousand.
The exterior showcases a wooden cabin nestled among greenery. A porch extends along the front, with a comfortable area for relaxation. Natural light highlights the cabin's simple architecture and surrounding landscape, emphasizing its tranquil setting among trees and open space.

We needed a place to stay, and found Anibal’s place at the last minute. It’s very close to Castro. You definitely need a car to get there, especially a truck because you’re on a dirt road for about 2 miles. Very clean, great communication, good location outside of the city but 10 minutes from Castro.😀

Cabin "Refugio Estudio Contento"

AlexRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This place is a gem. Love the style of the home and well stocked kitchen. The view of the lake and marsh area is gorgeous, with especially memorable sunrises and listening to the different birds in the morning. Appreciated the porch with the hammock and outdoor dining option. The beds were comfortable and the home is very clean. We found it a great Central spot to explore Chiloe Island, and loved the nearby parks where we saw pudu and enjoyed the forests and beaches. Of the 7 places we stayed in Chile this is the only one where we didn’t hear dogs barking which is a bonus. Marcelo is a fantastic host and he provided solid recommendations.
Two buildings are positioned on a grassy area under a partly cloudy sky. Outdoor seating is available, consisting of several chairs arranged around a table. Surrounding trees add greenery, and a solar lamp is visible in the foreground, providing a sense of outdoor tranquility.

Güitimó Lodge

Beautiful setting and beautiful little house. The accommodation was just like the photos (no misleading photos that make it appear to be larger than it is). A house with the right size and sparkling clean, very well maintained. Very nice to wake up with the sea in front and the green of the forest. Thank you very much Aracely.

Perfect place to rest and disconnect. Beautiful view and surroundings, very quiet. The cabin is super well-equipped, the kitchen too. Good location, very close to the ferry that arrives in Chiloé. We'll definitely be back.

A nice cabin, with a pool and ocean views

MiguelRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A 1000% recommended accommodation. It is a place with a wonderful environment and with all the amenities to spend a few pleasant days. Topics to highlight: the tinaja (a must-see) to enjoy while looking at the landscape, the fireplace that helps create home warmth, a cabin that in general has everything that is required. Regarding the hosts, I just want to point out that they are among the best I have ever had. Daniela and Mauricio made us feel right at home, starting with a first-class reception: sparkling wine and a snack board to share. They also helped us with everything we needed, always available to solve our problems (including transportation) and respectful of our privacy. I believe without a doubt that this accommodation is among the best we have visited to disconnect from the madness of the city.
