Very nice environment and Olympian calm that we were looking for. Two lakes on the property for a nice walk. Pay attention to the car because the path is more suitable for SUVs than sedans. Pleasant smell of wood stove if you wish, plus heat pump. Ideal for those seeking tranquility. House in the old-fashioned style but made of wood that gives it character. Two bathrooms and two toilets. Recommended

The location to the Parc du Beauvald Zoo is easily accessible in about 20 minutes! This was also our goal to make a stop on the way home from Normandy and still visit the zoo. It is very rural and has also been described as such but within a short time you get the most necessary and everything is ok. We had some trouble with the heating and until we found out we had a little fresh, but it was also not warm weather and it rained. They are renovating and you can see that, I think when everything is ready, it is a true, affordable pearl in the countryside, for people on a smaller budget. There are various sights within an hour, which we unfortunately could not visit yet.

Came with family (2 adults, 2 young children) for a weekend to discover Beauval Zoo. Frédéric and Stéphanie are very welcoming, warm and caring hosts. The accommodation is very clean and as described. They are responsive when needed and we enjoyed talking with them during our weekend. Bed and bath linens are provided and it's a plus! They are accommodating and very kind. We would recommend this listing. And their dog is a sweetheart! See you soon!

We spent 4 days with friends (7 adults) in Delphine and Jean Noël's peaceful haven. Top-notch decor and amenities. We even had bikes loaned by our hosts. We highly recommend the Cabouinotte.

The accommodation is super clean, very cozy, we loved it and the kids did too. The outside is very nice too. The accommodation is located 5 minutes from Beauval. Virginia's advice for visiting the Zoo was very helpful and allowed us to optimize our time at the Zoo. It was great. We thank Virginie and Dany for this very warm welcome and for their kindness. We spent a short weekend as a couple with our 2-year-old at a wedding nearby. We had a pleasant stay, the place is peaceful and quiet. Corinne and Paulo were very friendly and responsive. The house is as described. Only small downside for us, there is indeed a safety barrier on the stairs but only at the top (the bottom of the stairs not allowing one to be fixed). The stairs remain quite dangerous for a toddler, this point was not very convenient for us. However, for your choux: We are delighted to find children's toys available and an ideal outdoor space to play and have fun with the family.

Our short stay in Mareuil-sur-Cher went wonderfully! A warm welcome from the couple as well as Bullie. The accommodation was totally in line with our expectations: clean, comfortable bedding, etc...
