Very nice house, ideally located in the city center, close to a large free parking lot. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. I recommend it without hesitating.

A perfect weekend! Beautiful setting in the countryside, perfectly equipped house with crazy charm! We enjoyed the exchanges with Celine and the fact that she accepted that we arrived earlier to be able to fully enjoy our first day… It is highly likely that we will come back for our annual family weekends!! We had a lovely evening with her that we will remember for a long time. Don't hesitate to stop at La Folie, it's a little slice of heaven.

Lovely hosts who did a full guided tour. Free car park opposite, great facilities, a real jewel in rural France.

Stayed here before, but in the main house. Roger was working on the gates. Has done a very professional job to a high standard. Had the wood burning stove going nicely ready for our arrival. Despite being quite a lot later than originally anticipated this didn’t seem to be any problem at all Well done Roger. Hope to see you again Peter & Sheila

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! My wife and I were here for 4 days on our honeymoon and we didn't want to leave! The location is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It is amazing to see the effort and love that Jeanette and Zeus have put into the chateau and surroundings. The chateau itself is located on a small canal, so there are ducks, geese, and muskrats that love playing on the bank. Jeanette also keeps sheep, pigs, chickens, cats, and a farm dog named Lazy Lou as part of their animal sanctuary. The animals, combined with the rich historic chateau, offers the peace and tranquility that only seems possible in movies. And the pool was so refreshing during the couple of hot days! Jeanette and Zeus work very hard to provide warm and hospitable sanctuary for guests - they pay attention to every detail and will even show you around the chateau and her animals if you are interested! I wish we could have stayed longer, but we we walked away knowing we have friends for life!!!

Jean Caude and his wife were amazing. We got settled into the amazing room and then he invited us to join him for some wine in the yard. He gave us a tour of the grounds and was extremely friendly. I'm the morning we had breakfast in his 1650 home with baguettes and croissants, fruit home made jam and freshly squeezed orange juice. With beautiful music playing. This stay was a 10/10 and a high light of our holiday.

We had a warm welcome from Cécile and her daughters. An evening in a friendly atmosphere with the other guests present. We enjoyed this family climate and Cécile's attentions so that our daughter has a great memory of this stay, thank you! Special mention for the homemade breakfast which was prepared with a lot of care and which we enjoyed very much before going to the zoo. Impeccable housekeeping.

A delightful stay at Anita’s peaceful and restful home. Traditional, rustic farmhouse with use of a lovely pool. The stand out experience was Anita’s breakfasts. All home cooked, and sourced locally. Artisan cheese, home pressed apple juice, home baked cake and yoghurt, with home made preserves. The second morning we were there Anita served the most exquisite omelette, superb. Thank you Anita for your warm welcome to your home, with your doggy friends Michael and Simba.

We had a great time with the family in this guest house that has a lot of charm. The garden is beautiful and the bedding comfortable. We went to Beauval Zoo and Chenonceau Castle nearby, at the end of the day what a luxury to enjoy the pool... Gaëlle is adorable, she welcomes and cooks very well, gives good tips for visits to the area. We felt pampered in his house. I would recommend it in a second!

Maria was very nice and welcoming. What the listing didn't say is that the garden, very large and composed of several spaces, is simply fabulous: mixing flowers, wild plants, medicinal and edible plants. In addition, the dishes concocted by Maria, whose ingredients were all from her production, were tasty and balanced. In short: an atypical, quiet and charming place.

We tried to come up with a bad review so we could keep the place our little secret... but we just really loved our stay with Keith and Anita. We went to stay at this lovely and charming chateau for a week and it was all that we hoped for. It is a great place to relax and unwind. We felt very welcome with such friendly hosts, who were always there to give tips for local restaurants, etc. We would love to come back there one day. Tip: we could recommend their homemade afternoon tea.

Peggy welcomed us warmly despite a very winter temperature:) and we enjoyed a very complete breakfast. The very large and tastefully decorated room should be very nice in the summer; for one night on December 7th where the temperature was - 7° (and for south people) the operational radiator was not too much, however an extra duvet would have been welcome:). Apart from that, we could have had it corrected if we had reported it, I think Peggy's place is worth a visit and even makes you want to come back.

We had an exceptional stay at this beautifully situated house, complete with private and secure parking. Angie was an outstanding host—attentive, welcoming, and full of great recommendations for local attractions. The garden provided a serene setting to relax and enjoy a book in the evenings. Our room was immaculate, and the spacious bathroom added to our comfort. The location was ideal, with close proximity to the stunning Château de Chenonceau and the charming town of Amboise. We also found it convenient for day trips to Orléans and Tours. Overall, a perfect retreat in the heart of the Loire Valley!
