Perfect stay, Host was very accomodating

Views are absolutely stunning! So picturesque, peaceful and quiet. We had such a lovely stay, and wish we could’ve extended an extra 2-3 nights. Will definitely be back.

Great communication from a very friendly host. Very Comfortable and cozy apartment, very well furnished and decorated. Perfect for small families, couples or single travellers. We will definitely stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful place of rest. Tranquila space hosted by wonderful Zelma. We had so much space, yet Zelma was readily available to tend it our every need — including extra firewood for more hot tub time! Won’t hesitate to come back for a break in the beautiful Karoo. Easy recommendation.

Petro was a gracious host and so lovely. She has the cutest 7 month old puppies, unfortunately they stayed behind the gate so we couldn't play with them :) The rural area has incredible WiFi and while the home was originally built in 1888, it's amenities are perfectly usable. The indoor fireplace was so cozy, the beds were very comfortable and there was solar when we had unexpected loadshedding! Definitely recommend to walk the 5km hike route, take some dry socks as we walked through a overflowing stream (so beautiful!). Highly recommend Die Tuinhuis in Calitzdorp for a delicious brekkie, too!

The best romantic and peaceful break away! The place was actually better than the photos! we took our dogs along and this was sò enjoyable. Absolutely no problems at all. The cottage is well 20min drive on gravel, but is do-able with a normal car. So secluded and quiet in the heart of the mountains. Only 2 cottages so it was very private... it felt like we owned our own piece of mountains! We swam in the nearby dams and hiked on the trails surrounding the area. Would definitely love to stay there again and again. We also thought of it as the best honeymoon venue that we have ever came across. Everything was breathtaking and was like we walked into a magazine!! definitely 11 out of 10!! 🙌

So glad we stumbled upon this stay. It is a beautiful and private farm house in the karoo. Arrived on a bueatiful day and experienced the stunning views of the karoo. It is very homey and cosy. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again! We loved bird watching in the hot tub!

This place is an absolute beauty ! Greg was very helpful and explained everything we needed to know. The photos don’t actually do the accommodation justice it’s incredible. If ever passing through Oudsthoorn again we will 1000% come back!

What a phenomenal stay we had! The accommodation, amenities, daily servicing, large garden and attention to detail was just wonderful. We loved the garden, outside braai and the stoep is the ideal place to enjoy numerous cups of coffee in the morning and at night! The unit has everything you could want for an extremely comfortable stay. The staff regularly checked in with us to ensure that everything was in order. And to top it all off, they made my 50th birthday celebration so very special! I would go back in an instant to this gem and can't wait to stay here again in future.
