3 Bdr Belmopan. AC, Quiet, great neighborhood!

HeatherRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Thank YOU Mark & Miss Gabby! We enjoyed our stay, house as described, friendly neighbors/neighborhood. We took evening walks around the neighborhood to the soccer park and surrounding area. A lot of restaurants, small grocery stores nearby, easy to find & get around Belmopan. Miss Gabby was very helpful, friendly, and responsive to messages.

Maui's View

SusanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Loany’s place is close to the centre of town, but up a high hill, so it has a fabulous view and feels like it’s in the country. Lovely breeze the 3 days we were there. The location was really special. The front patio is great and makes up for the limited space in the kitchen. The bedrooms were air conditioned which was nice. The cooking area and stove are small and the oven was a bit slow to heat and no baking pan so not good for cooking big meals but everything worked fine and there were lots of plates/glasses/utensils. The whole town comes alive with roosters and barking dogs at times (sometimes at night too) so I’d recommend turning on a white noise video on your phone before going to bed. It’s an interesting quirk of the town and is not specific to this house. Loany herself was super responsive and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Fully AC Villa 2 Bedrooms with great Mountain View

NicoleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We (family with 2 teens) really enjoyed our stay. The house is very beautiful inside. Parking was convenient. The set up with the main bedroom and bath on the first floor and second bedroom and bath on the upper floor suited our family well. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. We did note that the breakfast bar stools are regular height, so we felt like kids lol. The seating area is a bit limited with only a love seat and we would have like to have been able to hang out together. There are a couple of very noisy (2am) rooster, we would recommend a white noise machine if you come. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely book again.

Double Bedroom Bungalow

AlisonRating, 5 stars27 months ago
Our family had a great stay at Vanilla Hills. Claudia was so helpful in booking excursions and transportation. We didn’t rent a car and found it easy to get taxis to and from the resort into town. The restaurant was amazing and the staff was very accommodating with our 5 year old daughters special menu requests. We loved the tranquility and would definitely stay here again if we return to San Ignacio.

Sanctuary at Paslow Falls-Belize

NicholasRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Great quiet and off the beaten path place! Pool area was out of this world! Jay recommended a local chef to come and prepare dinner for my wife’s birthday, and that worked out great! The property was very large and secure with a locked gate. A local herd of Brahman cows strolled down the road every afternoon to find greener grass I think. The road to Jay’s was a little bumpy but I understand it was primarily due to the recent heavy rains, but they were actively repairing it during our stay.

Central Oasis | Private Pool | BBQ

LoriRating, 5 stars3 months ago
What an excellent home base for exploring the interior of Belize! Easy access to Belize Zoo, ArtBox, and Guanacaste National Park, and only an hour from San Ignacio/Xunantunich. Daniel’s place is in a controlled-access neighborhood and felt very safe, considering we were 5 women traveling on our own. Beautiful home, well stocked and with amenities like a water dispenser on the fridge and a dishwasher. The pool was cleaned the evening we got there and felt so good after a day of exploring. There are some large dogs in the area that may wander into the yard but they didn’t bother us. We saw toucans and hummingbirds right from the yard. Highly recommend!

Casa Maya

Hector and JoyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay was FANTASTIC! It’s super close to downtown but just far enough away that you don’t hear all the hustle and bustle of the city. It was very clean and check in/check out was so easy! The host is very responsive and helpful to anything we might have needed. Overall we would stay here again if we’re back in the area!

Cozy,Modern Apt W AC,Washer/Dryer,Hammock,Netflix

MailiRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We are giving them 100 plus percent. A great place to stay very kind and helpful. Nicole was so very nice. They had 5 gallons of clean water, which was a wonderful little perk! They had a wonderful air conditioning split unit that worked well. The bed was very comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels. A washer and dryer that worked great. Great shower, sink, dishes and silverware for 2 people and cups for 4, coffee maker with coffee and hot chocolate available for us. They had a lovely Love seat and TV we could watch. The area is country area so it feels very safe and there are plenty of roosters around the whole area so remember to bring earplugs. We felt that we had a very comfortable stay and would return and stay there again. Important note*There aren't really addresses so remember that they are the Purple house with a bright light that lights up the street.

Cozy One Bedroom Apt #2 downtown San Ignacio

Hans-MartinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Since there is WiFi in every pub, we did not have a local SIM card. We were supposed to call Rafael when we arrived. Not possible without WiFi, but the restaurant across the street helped us. Rafael lives next to the apartment himself

Gran Martina's Abode - Cozy apartment w/ WiFi&AC

RitaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Gran Martina's Abode went above expectations. The outside looks like a building under construction. The inside is high end, perfect! Everything you could want and more. The owners greeted us. They live in the same building and are so gracious and friendly. They are very communicative. There were bananas and cookies on the table. The refrigerator was stocked with breakfast items, eggs, bread, milk, juice and more. There is refrigerator with coffee and a milk brother. This was so nice as we were tired from traveling and were able to have a leisurely morning. The bed is very comfortable. The location is up a big hill, 5 minute walk to town. We would highly recommend staying here.

Nona's Place San Ignacio Apt # 3

AaronRating, 5 stars13 months ago
Marion’s place was perfect for our stay in San Ignacio. It is just up the hill from the main part of town, only 10 minutes away. A peaceful part with local restaurants, grocers and shops. The apartment was perfect, had everything two people would need. A well equipped kitchen and a decent size bathroom and bedroom area.

Cozy Flat in San Ignacio | Close to Downtown!

RebeccaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Cozy Flat is a comfortable spot with good ac in one bedroom and the living room. There are two outdoor spaces, one covered with a hammock and clothesline, one good for stargazing. The kitchen was ok. No microwave and only a few pans, but it was no problem, there was a coffee maker and coffee provided. A car seems essential in San Ignacio. San Ignacio has so many great restaurants and often an activity includes lunch. Do not miss the ATM tour. We also loved our visit to the Lodge at Chaa Creek for butterflies, the museum, and dinner (a bit $$$, but a beautiful setting and our special dinner). The Saturday market was great.

Entire lower floor of Guest House - Garden View

DianneRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Luciana’s was a great place to stay. There were only three of us so we had plenty of room, but this could easily fit a party of six. We did so much during the day, I wish we could enjoy the patio a little more, but it was very nice to know that we would come home after long day of touring to a nice, comfortable, and cool place. The AC in each room works great. Nice and clean. Maria‘s communication beforehand was very helpful, and we had a very easy check in. This place is probably about five minutes driving from the center of town. But if you wanted to walk or didn’t have a car, I bet it would be a pretty easy walk as well. Upon arrival, there was a jug of water in the fridge for us. That was very helpful after a long day of traveling. We then went to a nearby supermarket for water and snacks. Easy instructions everywhere to use all appliances. WiFi is fast. Would definitely stay again should my travels bring me back to San Ignacio!
